Ri In’s POV

I walked around limply at school. I couldn’t get the image of Junsu and Hee Bon out of my head. As I walked I bumped into someone.

“Mianhe,” I apologised. I looked up and saw a boy. He was smiling a mischievous grin.

“Hey. You look pretty. What’s your name?” he asked. He put his hand to touch my face. I immediately pushed his hand away. He just came closer to me.

“Mind if we hang out after school?” he asked. He stepped closer. I backed away. He stepped another step closer. I stepped another step back.

“Go away! If not, you will regret it!!” I threatened him.

“Aww, I am so scared!” he said. He started to step closer.

Junsu’s POV

As I was walking out of class, I saw Ri In with some guy. She didn’t seem scared. That guy was closing the gap between them. I was furious and I didn’t know why. He took another step to her while she took another step back. I was going to stop him when suddenly…

“Bam!” Ri In suddenly kicked an excellent round house kick right to the guys face. He fell back and was leaning against the wall while sitting, for support. Ri In stepped up to him and grabbed his collar. She bent down to reach his level.

“You better watch out. I will not going on easy with you next time, araso?” Ri In said. The guy nodded his head and quickly scrambled away.

“Ri In!” I called. She turned to face me.

“Yes?” she asked.

“I didn’t know you where so good at fighting. I should never pick a fight with you,” I said.

“Yeah., you shouldn’t. I am a black belt in Taekwondo, Martial Arts and Karate,” Ri In said. Wow. She is pretty scary. Better not upset her or I will be dead meat.

“You don’t look like a tomboy,” I said.

“Why do I have to be a tomboy to know Taekwondo, Martial Arts and Karate?” Ri In defended. She was right. Why would a person who does martial arts be a tom boy?

Ri In’s POV

Tomboy? Not even close. What was he thinking?

“Junsu Oppa!” some called out to Junsu. I strained my head to the left and saw Hee Bon.

“Hey! Why are you here?” Junsu asked.

“You said you would go shopping with me! Don’t say you’ve forgotten!” she said.

“How could I forget?” Junsu said. I looked at them with envy. I sighed, such a perfect couple.

“We will be going! See you, Ri In!” Hee Bon said and headed the other direction with Junsu. My heart felt bad. Humph. Why am I feeling bad? I don’t like him, do I? No! He already has a girl friend!

Yeonhee’s POV

“Ri In!” I yelled to Ri In when I saw her walking. She turned to me.

“Oh, Yeonhee,” she said.

“What’s wrong?” I asked.

“No, it’s nothing,” she said. Ri In then bumped into some one. She dropped her stuff.

“Mianhe,” Ri In apologised.

“That’s OK,” the guy said and left. Ri In picked to her stuff and started to walk. She nearly bumped into another guy when I pulled her before she did.

“Ri In! What’s wrong with you!?” I said.

“Nothing,” she said wearily while staring in front of her. I looked to the direction she was starring at and saw Hee Bon with Junsu. I knew what was wrong with her.

“Ri In,” I said. She didn’t reply.

“Jang Ri In!” I yelled. No answer from her.

“Li Yin!” I cried. There was still no answer from her.

“Zhang Li Yin!” I screamed. Everyone around us starred at me then resumed what they were doing.

“Yes?” she said.

“You are like this because Kim Junsu, right?” I asked. She turned to face me.

“What!?” she yelled. Again, everyone looked at us then after again, resumed what they were doing.

“Admit it. You like Junsu,” I said.

“I do not!” Ri In objected. I knew it was no use arguing with her, she will have to figure it out herself.

“Yes, you do. You like Kim Junsu. Think about and don’t make up your mind to quickly. Mark my words,” I said calmly and left.

Next morning…

Junsu’s POV

Today I saw Ri In class again but she wouldn’t talk to me, or anyone else. She looked like she was thinking deep. Ri In was a straight A student but recently, she hasn’t been concentrating. At home, she would be clumsy and almost drop the thing she is wiping in her hands. She would always bump into people. That never feared her. It looked like what she would fear the most would be the result of the thing she had been thinking about. Whenever it looked like she was coming to a decision or answer, she would shake her head and mouth the words: Can’t be.

It was lunch break and I was sitting in the cafeteria eating when I received a text message. It was from Omma:

Junsu,

Dear, come home immediately after class dismisses. Can you bring Hee Bon-shii too? Ri In will also be there. This is really important, so don’t miss it, araso? See you later, dear.

Omma.

I saw Ri In sitting at another table. I decided that I will ask her if she knows anything about this evening.

“Ri In,” I said. She looked up and saw me. I smiled.

“I just wanted to ask if you know anything about this evening. Omma texted me and said that I had to come home early,” I said.

“I am sorry but I don’t know,” she apologised.

“Well, thanks anyway,” I said and returned back to my table. When I walked back to my table, I sat down next to Hee Bon. I wrapped my arm around her waist and she flinched.

“What’s wrong?” I asked. She eyed me nervously.

“Nothing, I am just hungry, that’s all. Let’s eat,” she said.

“Hee Bon, are you busy this evening?” I asked.

“No, what’s up?” Hee Bon asked.

“Omma told me to bring you home today to talk about something,” I explained.

“OK. I’ll come,” she said. She smiled at me before continuing eating.

I was a bit worried about her expression. She seemed sad but then she seemed happy. She looked cheery but then her eyes were sad but then her eyes have happiness I have never seen in a long time. I was very confused, I think as confused as she might be. I wonder what her eyes actually mean…
