6:03 am 

Baekhyun was having his calm and peaceful morning sleep, but not finding any warmth in his arms or beside him the second his palm had slide toward the other side of the bed, Gayoung's place, and a sudden eruption of shuffles had went through his ears the moment his mind slowly adjusted to the scene, with a realization that it was already morning as he had raised his head poking out of the duvet with his eyes closed to open one in a squinting manner as he took a second to adjust to the sunlight through the window. 

His head tilted toward the nightstand beside the bed, checking the time to groan softly as he had some time to leave for work, and buried his face back in the pillow to get back to his sleep only to hear some whines in the room behind some grumbles and they were too familiar not to recognize that it was his one and only wife. 

Shifting himself from his stomach pressed position to lay on his side where the voices were coming from, to greet Gayoung's back standing by the closet of theirs, her messy hair on her lower back open, his black hoodie on her with the sleeves slid up to her forearms while her hands fiddling through her clothes, and that's when he realized, the mess, on the bed with the scattered clothes of hers and before he could question it further, she threw another one back with a force which landed right in front of him, almost brushing his face. 

He huffed, propping himself up on his torso as he leaned his elbow on the mattress, while rubbing his eye. "Baby." 

And she turned around, a pout on her lips. "What should we do now?" 

"About?" He brushed his fingers through his messy hair back, and Gayoung pointed towards her closet then to her clothes scattered on the bed. "I have nothing to wear!" 

Baekhyun blinked a couple of times, grasping her words as he widened his eyes a bit to wake up to frown. "The closet is literally filled with your clothes more than mine."

"But it's not enough," She plopped on the bed with slouched shoulders as she fiddled with the clothes again with a whine. "I should have gone to shop with Yoora when she offered me, and now I have nothing to wear for our trip!" 

Baekhyun tilted his head, staring at her blankly as her throwing tantrums didn't surprise him anymore but tantrums on nothing to wear or pack when he could see the clothes of hers almost not fitting in the wardrobe had him sigh. "Just wear mine, you even feel comfortable in them." 

"You have a sundress which I'd be wearing?" She tried not to raise her voice but her rounded eyes gave the cue of how annoyed she was at the moment and he shook his head. "No, but I have your favorite hoodies, baby." 

"I'm not wearing them, and we're going shopping!" 

"As you say, baby." 

He voiced out lazily as he plopped himself back on the mattress to cover himself with the duvet over the head and the last thing he heard was her whine with a slap on his leg over the comforter with a little whiny yell of hers before he had welcomed the sleep again. 

"Byun Baekhyun, you're impossible!"

"Here, let it cool down before you have it." 

Gayoung claimed, placing the pancake on Areum's plate before turning off the stove as she took her empty plate to throw it in the sink where the four members of the house stared at her intently, munching silently as not to trigger the already triggered woman since her sudden silence was scary to be seen to walk back to the room to fetch her things. 

Seojun leaned towards Baekhyun's side who was seated in the middle stool. "Did you bully mommy again?" 

Baekhyun pouted, looking at him. "No." He reached out, wiping off the mess over his cheek as the latter continued to munch adorably before he tilted his head. "Then?" 

"Mommy was complaining about not having enough clothes to pack." He took the last bite of his pancake before hearing his princess' giggle beside him as he smiled at the sight while following her actions of her small hands gripping the fork tightly to get the piece of sliced pancake where he attempted to help her only for her to slap his hand away. "I can do it, dad." 

"Of course, my little ones have grown up now and don't need me anymore." He dramatically spoke, as he placed his elbow on the counter to palm his chin with a fake hurt look and his little ones could just shake his head at his dramatic father with Areum asking him."You didn't take her shopping?" 

"I will." 

"Then, it's good." 

"By the way," He trailed off, peeking through them with a wondering expression. "Do you really don't want to come with us?" 

Areum shook her head. "No, it's a gift for you two and we should take it seriously." 

"Yeah, but we would like it if you two come with us." 

"Uff." Seojun sighed, shaking his head dramatically along with Areum where Baekhyun stared at them confusingly as the little Spiderman spoke. "You are supposed to go alone, dad, understand you silly dad." 

"Silly dad." 

He stared at them confused, then surprised at their thoughts yet an amused look took over his face as he couldn't help but smile with a shake of his head. "Where did you learn these things?" 

And they just giggled, their happy and naughty giggles. 

They were finished with the breakfast and Baekhyun had helped them climbed down the stool as he further walked in the kitchen to throw the plates in the sink while they went to get their backpacks from their room before he heard some steps behind, and knowing the familiar sounds of the steps, he was quick to turn around to find Gayoung, ready to go with his jacket hanging on her forearm for him. 

He tilted his head, his eyes peeking through her expression and she raised her eyebrows. "What?" 

"What?" 

"You're giving me the look." 

"Like?" 

"Like I'm about to beat the hell out of you." She stated, a done look on her face and he chuckled, looking down for a moment to meet her eyes as he leaned against the counter while watching her coming to him. "A little checking wouldn't hurt to see if I'm about to get hit like this morning." 

And a chuckle left her lips, finally her smiling face was in his sight as she shook her head. "That's an exaggeration." 

"Please, I almost thought you'd kick me out of the bed." He uttered, yet snickered at his imagination with Gayoung giving him an amused look. "Why the hell would you imagine it?" 

He let out a laugh. "I couldn't help it, baby." 

"Maybe I should do that." 

His laugh subsided, as he met her playful eyes with his exact playful ones. "You wouldn't do that." 

"And how are you so sure?" 

"Because you love me." He uttered, a soft glint in his eyes and a soft smile on her lips. "I can still kick you out." 

"Yeah?" His forehead creased, a teasing smile on his lips as he attempted to tickle her sides but she was quick to back away with a giggle as she slapped his hands away. "Yeah." 

"We'll see about that." He reached out, palming the back of her head to kiss her forehead as her smile widened at his actions to look at him with a sheepish look. "Sorry about this morning." 

"No worries, baby." 

"Mommy, dad, let's go!" 

"Yeah," Gayoung nodded, as she handed him his jacket to help him wearing it as he slid his arm in the sleeve where she leaned over his shoulder. "But we're still going to shop." 

"Huh?" 

She shrugged, giving him a smile and he sighed, before nodding with a dejected face and she had laughed, cooing inside while their little ones could just stare at their parents with a smile, happy at the sight of them. 

Not long before, they had locked their entrance door as both of them would go to their respective work before they could leave for a few days of their trip, and the trip was given to them by their families which was handed by their Dodo in the present box during the Christmas day with a key of guesthouse in Busan where they would be staying at. 

Confusion and surprise was surely an understatement, not knowing the reason behind the sudden trip which they thought was with the whole family or with their kids but turns out it was just for the pair because somehow they had seen them not giving each other time or so they thought but denying it had got them nothing in return. 

The kids were happy as usual for their parents, as them living with them and watching their parents going to work then back to home with the same routine had given them this thought of sending them out on a trip alone would be the best as they had agreed without having any questions or concerns but happy about the alone time for them. 

The pair was still confused, but they couldn't even refuse their pleas, and it felt difficult too refuse their little ones who were insisting for them to go and have fun like they weren't having any at home or denying further for it, they had gotten that ever cliché words they could think of from them and it was to think of like honeymoon. 

What were they? Newly married teenagers? Their marriage had passed six months and it going really great, and were giving enough time to each other but they never thought of their elders would want to send them alone calling it honeymoon which kind of felt a little embarrassing the way Sung-min had uttered those words in front of everyone leaving them with nothing but blushing and their night went talking about it with all serious at first but ended up teasing each other with it. 

And they were leaving the day after tomorrow and it was still cold because it was the start of January as they had spent their new year in Gongju, like the previous time when everyone had gathered together and this time, Junmyeon and Seri had joined them and it happened when granny wanted to go back where Sung-min had given the idea of spending the new year there and knowing how much everyone enjoyed it last time, they had agreed and this time too, they had loved it.

9:01 am 

Gayoung walked out of the classroom after the students passed through the door while greeting the other students back as she walked down the hallway to the gym with her arms crossed, and as she reached there, her best friends were already there, sitting on the bleachers and sipping their yogurt milk while Soo-Ah was munching her French fries while slapping Ji-hu's hand away the moment he tried to take one leaving him pout as he spoke something and Gayoung could make out him whining about the ice-lady being petty. 

A smile graced her lips as she shook her head, recalling the familiar sight there, as that was the place they were sitting in when she had announced her sudden decision of marrying Baekhyun, and she recalled how supportive they were that time, and every time she had faced any downfall in her life but right now, she was walking towards them with a happy heart, a void which had been filled with nothing but a pleasant warmth and solace now. 

"Hello, people." 

"Oh, there she is, the woman going to the honeymoon." 

Ji-hu commented, and Soo-Ah let out a giggle, while Gayoung rolled her eyes, slapping his head with her fist to which he winced as he glared at her taking a seat beside Soo-Ah making her sandwich between them. 

"I'm still surprised that you all did that." Gayoung shook her head, attempting to take a French fry from Soo-Ah's box only to get a slap on her hand by her as she flinched, rounding her eyes at her. "Yah, Chae Soo-Ah!" 

She gave her a look. "Buy your own."

"Stingy," She shook her head with a dramatic disbelief on her face. "So stingy." 

Ji-hu snickered and she glared at him. "Why are you laughing? You didn't get any either." 

Soo-Ah shook her head with a sigh. "You two never stop." 

Three of them stopped, looked at each other for a moment only to chuckle together as they leaned back against their seated chair, watching the field filled with the teenage students playing various different types of games, and somehow it brought their teenage life hit the back of their heads, so many emotions related to it, and now the three of them were here, together like they always were, and have been and will be. 

It was something no one could change, not even them. 

"You know when I walked in," Gayoung trailed off, trying to take a fry again and this time Soo-Ah didn't slap her hand away to which she smiled before uttering further. "I was reminded of how I talked to you both about my marriage here." 

Ji-hu had a smile on his face as he took a sip of his yogurt. "Yeah, it was such a hard decision for you but I guess it was meant to happen in a way or another," He paused, giving her a smile. "And now you're here, happy." 

Gayoung smiled back. "Yeah, I'm so happy." 

"And I'm so glad you made that decision," Soo-Ah said, taking both of their attention as she shot them a soft smile. "Because you deserve to be happy, and I can't think of anyone other than Baekhyun who would have made you this happy, and this happiness is what you deserve from a long time ago, but you had just lost the track for a moment but now you are finally back at it, so don't lose it again."

Gayoung's heart warmed, her eyes teared up and she was quick to hug her shoulders in a side hug. "Awe, my Soo has become so warm, is it Yixing's influence?" 

"Shut up and let go of me." 

"No, I won't." 

"At least, let me hug you too." Ji-hu whined, as he immediately wounded his arms around his besties leaving them to chuckle together until he spoke up. "So, wonder woman, are you ready to go on your honeymoon?"

"Oh my god, shut up seriously!" 

But who was she kidding? Their teasing session didn't seem to end but the other side was having the same session as well, with much laughter included as here Baekhyun was, groaning with his face hidden in his palms forwarded on his thighs while his friends were having a laughing session right now. 

"What's so funny?" 

He questioned, removing his hands as he leaned back against the couch of Junmyeon's cabin, while he was seated on the single one while Yoora and Yixing were either side of him looking at him teasingly about their trip which they had been calling honeymoon nonstop and he swore, he didn't feel that shy and embarrassed about it when Sung-min had announced, probably because he wasn't teasing him but now his friends weren't stopping, hence, he was feeling shy and wanted to get out. 

However, a thought has crossed his mind, the sight felt awfully familiar, the people were familiar and him being around them also was nothing new but yet it gave some sense of dejavu, and then a sudden flashback had irked in his head which brought him back to the day he had discussed his marriage, and his positive decision about his marriage with them, and in one way or another it was their support where he was sitting right now without having any void in his heart which was filled with the love and solace now. 

Yet he let out a scoff. "Stop now." 

"Come on, we're having fun." Junmyeon said, taking a sip from his coffee purposely flexing his engagement ring and Baekhyun gave him a look. "By making fun of me?" 

"That's different," Yoora chuckled, before patting his shoulder. "We're being happy for you, ." 

"Right," Yixing nodded, leaning forward as he shot his dimple smile. "We're really happy to see you happy and it's something you deserve so don't shy away from it, buddy." 

Baekhyun smiled, before raising his brows at him. "More like you're happy to meet your girlfriend." 

"Can't deny that too." 

"You snobs." He scoffed, slapping his back which earned him a chuckle from him before he felt a buzzing through his pocket of his scrubs to which he fished out to find a text from Gayoung, literally reminding him of going to the shopping with her but the way she had threatened him with the emoticon had him smile, his head shaking until he heard Yoora beside him. "Oh, look at you, smiling like a fool with your honeymoon partner."

"Oh gosh, stop." 

And he had gotten up from the couch to walk outside with a shake of his head as he could still hear their laughter behind yet he couldn't contain the smile gracing his lips, a relaxed and happy smile of his but the other person was having the same emotion right now, his certain person, Gayoung.

10:36 am 

"Are you sure you both are not coming with mommy and dad?" 

Gayoung asked, giving her little beans a puckered lips face, and both of them hugged her waist together as Areum looked up at her. "We'll be okay and we'll call you so enjoy it." 

"Really?" 

"Yes."

"Oh, mommy, can you take a picture of a zombie?" Seojun questioned, a beaming smile on his lips and Areum sighed. "Silly, it's in the movie, not in real life." 

He pouted, before he felt a kiss on the crown of his head to which he looked up to find Baekhyun smiling down at him as he placed another kiss on Areum's head, with his head slightly brushing against Gayoung's stomach since the kids were hugging her but that little action was enough to leave a fluttering sensation in her stomach. 

Mrs. Tae was watching the scene with a smile with Woo-Jin standing beside him with Mongryong in his arms to take the kids with him for a few days as they were quick to let go with an exchange of few kisses to their parents and half of them were Gayoung's to bid bye to their parents along with Mrs. Tae, leaving the pair alone. 

"Shall we go, baby?" 

Baekhyun held out his hand, and with a pout, Gayoung immediately held it as they walked to the car where he opened the door for her but before she could have gotten inside, he was quick to squish her face with his hand in a gentle tug which had her lips to pucker even more as she stared at him confused. "What?" 

"Why does it feel like I'm taking you away from everyone else?" He questioned, and she blinked a couple of times to push his hand away gently to sigh. "That's not it, I'm happy really, but it feels like we're being kicked out of our house." 

Baekhyun chuckled, leaning in to place a quick kiss on her lips. "Let's enjoy being kicked out then, baby." 

She couldn't help but giggle. "Might as well do it." 

And soon, both of them had drove away to their destination, their hands interlocked warmly as he drove but kept glancing at her from time to time as she kept talking the whole while. 

"I mean, can you believe it? If they wanted to have us a good time alone then they should have sent us to Paris or Greece but Busan?" She huffed, looking out to the window where Baekhyun rounded the corner with a chuckle as Gayoung turned back to him. "I'm telling you it's Dodo, he wants to tell us that he has a big guesthouse in Busan which is not being used so we should use it and can you stop smiling?" 

"What did my smile do?" 

"It's distracting when I'm ranting." 

"I guess it's a good thing that my smile alone is distracting," He trailed off, a smirk forming on the corner of his lips as he shot her a teasing look. "Or I have many more ways to distract you, baby." 

A warmth crawled through her chest, reaching up to her cheeks and she was quick to make him look ahead. "Eyes on the road, Byun Baekhyun." 

He glanced at her then back to the road with a surprised look. "Can you warn me before taking my full name?" 

Gayoung frowned. "Why?" 

"Because it's damn distracting, baby." 

A smirk curled her lips. "So, just me taking your full name distracts you? That's surprising."

He nodded, equally surprised by this fact as he continued to drive while telling her about how his friends couldn't stop teasing him about this whole trip thing and it didn't came as a surprise to him when she began to talk about it how her friends did the exact same but were happy for them, like they were for each other. 

And as the driving continued, he was again feeling distracted by her eyes on him, strong enough to feel a warmth through him as he glanced beside him to find her leaned back with her elbow against the window while her eyes staring at him and when their eyes met, her lips were quick to grace a shy smile of getting caught at the moment yet her stare didn't tear off from him. 

"Look ahead, Baek." 

"Stop distracting me." 

"I'm just staring though." 

"And that's a big distraction for me, baby." He bit his lip, as his jaw clenched while doing so but the sight felt too good to look away as she shrugged. "And I can't do anything about it." 

"If you don't want me to stop the car and do more distractions," He voiced out, his tone suddenly deep to meet her eyes, and she swore she saw an intense glint behind them, as he uttered. "Stop flirting with me, baby." 

Gayoung had to swallow as she looked away, exhaling her deep breath which she had been holding in, her cheeks warm. "Okay but we'll switch." 

"I thought we talked about it." 

"I can't just let you drive for the whole four hours, Baek." Gayoung reasoned out, not liking the fact he'd get tired by driving continuously when she can drive too but her man was just as stubborn as her and Baekhyun sighed, nodding. "Okay, we'll switch." 

"Wow, you gave in quickly." Gayoung gave him a surprised look and Baekhyun shrugged. "I can't afford to be thrown out of the car." 

And earned a slap on his arm. "You're impossible!"

And he giggled, bringing their interlocked hands to his lips as he kissed the back of her hand with a lingering kiss. "I know, baby." 

The time ahead passed like it should have, a little slow or in a sudden fast way but somehow worth it, because before they'd be looking back for their little ones in every while if they needed anything and it also didn't go away in a moment because the minute they had stopped by a gas station, the first thing they had done was looking back only to find it empty to give each other a look of a sigh at how accustomed they had been in that parent category to even forgot about being alone right now. 

However, as they were slowly coming to grasp it, their ride went smooth but not so smooth when Gayoung was on the driving seat and that Baekhyun was distracting her for how long she was driving, be it tucking her hair or purposely brushing his thumb over her ear or the curve of her neck and earning a glare from her would just have him laugh, his soft and happy laugh in the car. 

Soon enough, it was almost 2 in the afternoon, and they had finally entered the city of Busan, their car crossing through the wide roads ahead towards the destination but before they could have gone further into towards it, Baekhyun had gotten a glimpse of the hotel he had previously stayed in for the seminar, and a pleasant flashback had hit the back of his mind, a warming smile gracing his lips at the memory of the moment he was standing by the glass window with his heart realizing the feelings for the person seated beside him. 

Gayoung met his gaze with a confused smile and he just shook his head, continuing driving as they had switched back again because of his stubbornness and finally they drove into where the guesthouse was located in, which turned out to be close to the beach because that's what Gayoung saw, the bluish water by the other side of the road as she rolled off the window to feel the cold breeze through her face with the sun beaming over them by its warming sunlight toward her like the smile on her lips. 

Baekhyun stopped the car by the guest house while smiling at her actions to get out of the car as he walked to the trunk to get their luggage while Gayoung stretched her arms ahead, with a satisfied sigh after sitting for a while to stretch out her arm to help him out but he just walked past her leaving her frown. "What?" 

"Open the door, baby."

She walked to the door immediately as she opened the entrance door only to get blown off by the sight inside, but she had stepped aside to do it since Baekhyun had walked past inside with the luggage to place them in a suited place for now while looking around, his eyes roaming around the cozy living room, a couch not so far away placed in front of the fireplace while the sunlight was beaming through the windows around it and there was a huge door opened, where he could guess that it was a backyard and just a little away from it was an open kitchen. 

There was a staircase just beside where he was standing which probably goes for the room upstairs because there were none downstairs and after all the inspection, he nodded, an impressive look on his face as the house gave him a warming feeling before looking back to find Gayoung still standing on her spot. 

"Baby, come here." 

"Yeah, I'm coming." Gayoung walked in, her eyes roaming around with an impressive look where both of them nodded, musing together. "Not bad." 

"We have your kitchen and garden." He chuckled, and Gayoung rolled her eyes with a chuckle, as she headed toward it to find the necessary things already presented, even the fridge was full as she smiled. "Neat and clean." 

"And beautiful." He held her from behind, and she crossed her arms with a hum. "Oh, hell it is!" 

"Should we check up?" 

"Yes!" 

Both of them had gone upstairs, and there were three rooms on the hallway but entered in the first one which was kind of huge with a big balcony by the side where the bed was located, just in the middle as sunlight was beaming through the closed glass door of the balcony to the bed. 

"Oh god, we have a balcony!" 

Gayoung exclaimed, immediately opening the door as she walked through the door to find a swing there under the shade while the whole area was secured with a railing with the shore of the beach in sight, where the sun was shining and it looked too beautiful not to awe at the sight. 

She felt him standing behind her, and she was quick to turn around with her arms around his neck as he was quick to hold her back with his ever beautiful smile on his lips, his soft eyes behind the shade of sunlight and her lips smiling back, and his heart jolting up at the sight to lean his forehead against hers as they stood there, silent, their nose brushed, their eyes closed in the silence in their moment. 

There was just the sound of waving shore around them, the warming feeling of sun above them, and
