"Will you go on a date with me?"

I stared at his face... And continued to stare. He now has that worried look in his face, I mean I would be worried too but this I didn't see coming. Okay, that's a lie. I have dreamt of this moment for quite some time now.

"Dara? You there?" Jiyong said as he waved his hand frantically in front of my face. The close proximity of his body made me swallow hard. Butterflies are erupting in my stomach. I opened my mouth to reply but no words came out. I closed my eyes and suddenly felt warmth embrace my body. I still have not said anything... I just stood there, feeling the comfort of his body pressed against mine. He whispered, "Dara, you maybe off to lala land right now but I need to hear your answer."

I pushed his body off and stared at his face again. I can finally feel the words slowly traveling up my throat. "In one condition," I said, his eyes filled with curiosity, "Catch me, first."

His next response filled my soul with happiness and contentment, "Deal."

And off I ran. He chased.

But of course I woke up from this wonderful dream and returned to my hopeless reality.
