Drabble #19: Party Crashing (Baekhyun + Luhan)
Cutlass DrabblesParty Crashing
One of the problems with being a wanted outlaw is that people tend to recognize your face everywhere. Luhan comes up with a solution: cross-dressing.
Surprisingly, it works.
Set: 3 years before Cutlass; Baekhyun’s 21, Luhan’s 22.
(Spot some easter eggs! Aren't a lot because my brain doesn't work fast enough lmao)

Baekhyun had to admit: Luhan made a prettier girl than he did. But only by a bit, because they both looked pretty good in the mirror.
“Well,” Luhan said in the blandest voice possible. “This is a bit terrifying. And you are suspiciously good at putting on makeup.”
“I still think you should’ve gone with the dark green dress,” Baekhyun mused. “The maroon is mediocre at best.”
“You’re wearing bright red, Baek, you do not have a right to judge.”
Baekhyun looked down at his attire. After a little while, he had surprisingly adjusted to the chokehold of the corset and managed to start taking shallow breaths. The red gown was a bit tight around his shoulders even though he had gotten it tailored, but apart from that, it wasn’t even a bad dress. He had lost the argument and Baekhyun had gotten to keep his top pick.
Baekhyun gave their reflections one last look. “This is really convincing. I do look like a girl.”
Luhan rolled his eyes at him. “The only reason you’re dressed as a girl is because this is the closest you’ll get to bringing a girl to Hong Chul’s gala.”
“There are plenty of girls who would want to attend the gala with me, I’ll have you know.”
“So why am I the one going with you?”
“Because you make a prettier girl than Jongin. He also told me he was too tall to pull it off. And because if I brought an actual date to the gala, they'd think I'm trying to make a move in a direction I definitely am not, so, thus, no date.”
“Just admit you can’t get a date to the gala, Baek.” Baekhyun opened his mouth to protest, but before he could say a thing, Luhan beat him to it. “Stop dwaddling, or else we’re going to be late.”
Baekhyun trailed after Luhan, complaining about the fact that he was perfectly capable of landing a date if he wanted one, even though he knew Luhan was probably right.

By the time they finally got inside the main hall of Hong Chul’s mansion, the corset was once again beginning to feel suffocating, and Baekhyun was trying to imagine what it was like to have to wear something like that daily. Luhan didn’t outwardly look like he was having his
