Description
because of its long-standing reputation, the studios where the show would be filming were full of ghost tales. they say there was once a debut-ready rookie who was pushed to the brink of suicide and killed themselves in the practice room at the end of the hall, citing that to be the reason why the room was converted later on into a storage area.
at night, one may hear the faint sounds of piano playing down the hallways and chalk it up to contestants staying up late to practice, but if they go to check the music rooms, no one is there.
the last rumor was undoubtedly the most chilling: if any person entered the communal bathrooms alone at night, a girl in white would appear behind them in the mirrors, her face looming over their shoulder as they bustled about.
“hey christy,” one of the girls spoke in a low voice to her friend in-between the stories told by the raucous gathering. “don’t the stories sound scary? what do you think, do you think they’re real at all?”
christy, drawn out of her thoughts, flashed a smile at the girl who brought her attention towards the others gossiping. “the rumors? come on, there’s no way.”
ghosts weren’t real, after all.

it’s been confirmed - there’s a new reality show in which 101 hopeful talents compete against one another to fight for spots in the debut-ready coed idol group by the end of the season.
what these idols-to-be don’t know is that not all of them are human; grim reapers walk among them this season in an attempt to sniff out the human whose soul is ready to be reaped, blending in with the many contestants to complete their job as quickly as possible. but how come strange things keep happening on-site?

KANG YEJUN
since debut, yejun was titled as a young talent. he happened to be one of the few who brought a name to his group, but unfortunately, his group failed to go far. in hopes to bring fame to his group, yejun decided to join 101 youths and put his ability to the test. however, his plans do not go as intended and his career crumbles from a single rumor, inevitably leaving him to handle everything for his own sake. with a bad reputation to his name and a grudge that keeps him awake, he chose to reach first place in order to save his face.
CHRISTY CHO
accident-prone since she was a child, christy was told that she’d never live past the age of five by her adoptive family but did so anyway. she comes to 101 youths hoping to make her big break -- partly out of her love for the music industry, partly out of need for money. she’s optimistic even towards the lack of resources and the near-claustrophobic dorm shared between her and three others, but she made it on the reality show with her own efforts, and she’s not as naive as she may seem at first glance.
