Chorong and Suho walked out through the door. The air was cold that Chorong shivered

Suho-Are you cold?

Suho put off his coat and wrapped it around Chorong

Suho-Let's get into the car quickly

They ran like little kids towards Suho's car. He opened the door for Chorong and she got in first before Suho took his seat at the driver side

Chorong kissed Suho's cheek as a thank you. It was a habbit though. Suho scrunched his face, feeling happy

He drove them back to Seoul after visiting Suho's sister in Daegu

Suddenly Chorong whined as if something had gone wrong

Suho-Why baby?
Chorong-I left my scarf at your sister's house
Suho-Oh no. We are half way back to Seoul now

Chorong-Aish I was so careless

Suho glanced at Chorong who was beaming at him. God, he adored this woman so much

Suho pressed on the brake immediately. He reflexed quick enough to held out one hand to Chorong so she wouldn't bump into the dashboard

Suho-Are you okay baby?
Chorong-Yeah I'm alright
Suho-Oh my God. I'm so sorry

Suho apologised. He almost ran the red because he was busy looking over at Chorong 

Chorong-Just focus on the road honey
Suho-How can I focus when an angel is sitting next to me?

Chorong jabbed Suho's cheek playfully. He laughed and Chorong laughed too afterwards

Once the light turned green again, Suho pressed on the fuel

Chorong-Look at the autumn leaves falling
Suho-Beautiful right?

Chorong rolled down her window and jerked her head out. She breathed in the fresh autumn breeze

Chorong's hair was floating when it was hit by the wind. Some orange leaves fell on top of her

Chorong-Let's take a walk at the Han River Park next time. And let's eat hot waffles too
Suho-Anything for you baby

Suho kissed Chorong's hand again. He saw there were dry leaves on Chorong's head

He chuckled before dusting the leaves off her

This time, Chorong kissed Suho's hand. God what did she do to deserve this man?

Chorong was looking dearly at Suho. He glanced at Chorong and the road back to back

Suho threw his body into the bed. Chorong giggled

She hung her coat in her closet and went into the washroom to remove her make-up

Chorong bent down and soaked her face in the sink. Suddenly she felt a pair of hands around her waist. She quickly stood up straight again

She screamed. Her eyes were still closed because of the cleanser and water were still all over her face

Chorong heard Suho giggled behind her

Suho took the face towel and wiped Chorong's face to dry. He planted a soft kiss on her lips afterwards

Chorong could finally opened her eyes. She saw Suho in front of her, already shirtless and only had a towel to cover his lower part

Suho-I'm taking a bath. Join me
Chorong-What?! Nn..no
Suho-Tch, come on

Suho pulled Chorong into the shower. He pulled down the zip on Chorong's dress and removed her clothes completely

Chorong-Suho, I'm shy
Suho-There is nothing to shy about

Suho filled the tub with warm water

He went to kiss Chorong's lips while waiting for the tub to get full. Chorong kissed Suho back

Chorong threw the lavender bath bomb into the tub and she got inside with Suho

Suho-What are you doing at the other side?

Suho raised his eyebrow at Chorong who was across him. That was not how they supposed to be

Chorong-What?
Suho-You should sit on my lap
Chorong-No!
Suho-Yes baby. Come here

Chorong-Suho!
Suho-It's okay. Nothing is going to happen to you

Suho pulled Chorong to him and made her sit on his lap. Chorong found it uncomfortable at first

It was the first time their lower parts were in direct contact

Suho-Don't worry, I'm not gonna eat you here. We have a bed

Chorong laughed. She looked up to Suho and he was looking down at her. She turned around where their chests collided with each other

Suho grinned when he felt the bumpy things against him. He was trying to hold himself 

Chorong did not say anything. She just simply kissed Suho's lips again. Then Suho broke their kiss

They both did and Suho kissed Chorong again. He drowned themselves and they were kissing under water for a few seconds before they floated again

Suho grabbed on his towel and he got up from the tub, drying himself

Suho-Come here

He took another towel and dried Chorong too. This guy never failed to make Chorong's heart flutter

They both got out of the bathroom, looking at each other

Chorong went to her closet to find a pyjama

Suho-There's no need to put on clothes baby

Chorong turned to Suho who was already in the bed, still in his bathrobe. She closed back her closet and went to lie down next to Suho

He wrapped both of his arms around Chorong. She felt so secured especially when Suho kissed her forehead

Suho-Can I have you tonight?
Chorong-Suho aren't you tired? You drove two hours to Daegu and another two hours back to Seoul
Suho-I'm tired but not with you

Chorong kissed Suho's lips

Chorong-Next time okay?
Suho-You said next time too the other time

Suho pouted, sulking. Chorong bit her lower lip. What should she do now?

Suho pushed Chorong down suddenly and pinned her in the bed

Suho grinned like a devil. He stripped the bathrobe off Chorong and removed his robe as well

Chorong stirred up from her sleep. The dim room was now pitch black. She forgot when did she fall asleep

But she could remember vividly what happened between her and Suho

Oh my goodness at age 29 she finally let a guy took her ity away. But that guy was not just a guy

He was Suho. The love of her life

Chorong felt movement behind her. She only realised her head was on Suho's arm

Slowly, she turned around to face Suho who was fast asleep. Chorong could not help but to kiss his lips while he was sleeping

Chorong was blushing hardly. She pushed Suho away and got up

Suho-Where are you going?
Chorong-I'm thirsty. I'm going down to the kitchen

Chorong walked to downstairs to the kitchen. She poured plain water in the glass and drank in one go

She opened the fridge when she suddenly craved for snack

Chorong-Chips, chips, chips. Where is chips. Argh!

Chorong screamed when someone pulled her by her waist into a hug. Of course it was Suho again

Chorong-What the hell Suho?
Suho-What takes you so long?
Chorong-I am about to snacking
Suho-You only said you wanted to drink
Chorong-I'm hungry suddenly

Chorong picked up the potato chips and moved to the counter. She didn't bother to close the fridge because it was dark in the kitchen

So they used the refrigerator light as the source of brightness

Chorong spat out her chips. Suho poured another glass of water and passed it to Chorong

He her back. Then he hugged Chorong

Chorong frowned. Suho unlocked his phone and played Perfect by Ed Sheeran

He held Chorong in his arms and they moved with the melody. It already felt like heaven

They didn't need fancy candle light dinner and ball gown. Bathrobes and refrigerator light were romantic enough

Suho-God, I love you so much Chorong
Chorong-I love you too. Hey, what is wrong?
Suho-Nothing. I just want to let you know how much I love you

Chorong-I know honey. I always know

Chorong hugged Suho. She felt uneasy with Suho's reaction and the way he talked. As if he was hiding something

Suho kissed the top of Chorong's head. They were still dancing in the dim light until they felt like stopping

Solar ran to the second floor immediately

Solar looked up and saw Chorong

Solar-Chorong ahh
Chorong-I'm sorry we couldn't celebrate my birthday this year
Hwasa-It's okay Chorong ahh

And Chorong disappeared from downstair. She went back to her bedroom, crying

Chorong pulled up her turtle-neck covering her nosetip. The autumn wind was extra cold today

She felt like taking a walk at the Han River park even in this freezing weather

Chorong seriously walked around doing nothing. Only looking out to the river which was empty. As empty as her mind

Chorong-Give me two strawberry waffles. Make it hot please

Chorong smiled behind her cloth. Her eyes also beamed

She tapped her foot furiously. She breathed in her shirt, warming her own face. Her face was paralyzed

"Can I have two peanut butter waffles? Please make it hot"

Chorong glanced to her side, not expecting to meet Suho in the eyes

It was really Suho though. His eyes, his nose, his lips. He was still the same just like how she saw him the last time

She remembered him all too well

He looked back at Chorong and bowed his head once. He didn't notice her?

Shopper-Two peanut butter waffles and two strawberry waffles

Suho-Thank you
Chorong-Thank you

They took their waffles at the same time, paid for them and left in separate ways

Chorong stopped and turned around. Suho was walking away from her. And he didn't seem to stop and look back to her at all

Chorong sobbed and walked away too

This time, Suho stopped and turned around. But he saw Chorong walked away. She didn't seem to stop and look back to him at all

Chorong-Uhuk! Uhuk!

Chorong sobbed silently. But then she wiped her tears off her face

Chorong-Why bother crying Chorong? He didn't care. He didn't even recognise you!

Chorong unwrapped her waffles. Before she could take a bite, someone snatched the paper bag from her

She looked up to Suho who popped up out of sudden

Suho-It's..mine

He panted loudly as if he was running. Yes he was running all the way from the other side of this park, looking for Chorong to save her

Chorong-What?
Suho-That is my peanut butter waffles. This is yours. We accidentally swapped them

Chorong took her waffles from Suho with shaking hands

Suho-Did you eat mine? You are allergic to peanut butter
Chorong-I didn't
Suho-Thank God. Hah!

Suho squatted down and panted heavily

Chorong-Are you..okay?

Suho stood up. His eyes met Chorong's. Chorong ran her gaze because she felt awkward to stare at Suho

Suddenly she felt Suho wrapping a warm fabric around her neck. It was a familiar scarf

It was Chorong's scarf that she left at Juyeon's house last year

Chorong-You still keep this?

She murmured

Suho-Go home. It's so cold outside. You will get sick
Chorong-Why do you care?

Suho sighed deeply. No. He didn't want to argue with Chorong. Not now. Not here. Not anytime. Never

He casually walked away, leaving Chorong in teary eyes

Suddenly Suho felt a warm hand around his wrist, pulling him strongly to make him turn around. It was Chorong

Chorong-How dare you walk away from me again? How dare you played with my feelings and emotions? How dare you made me a mess?! Who said you can leave me without explaining yourself?! Who said that?!

Suho-There is nothing to explain anymore

Chorong-No. I'm not satisfied with your explaination. You explained nothing! You left me without answer for a year. Why.. Why did you do this to me? What did I do wrong?!

Suho-Chorong

Chorong-Am I not pretty? Am I not y? Am I not enough for you?
Suho-Chorong

Chorong-Tell me which part am I lacking! At least.. At least I can make it better next time. If it wasn't for you, maybe someone else. Please tell me...

Chorong cried out. She wiped her tears off and tried to look at Suho in the eyes. She felt so weak at that time

Suho-You really want to know? Fine. Listen carefully Park Chorong. I will tell you now

Chorong swallowed her tears. Suho moved two steps closer to her and cupped both of her cheeks

Suho-You.. There is nothing wrong about you. You are perfect. Too perfect even. And that is an issue for me
Chorong-Uhuk! *sobbed* Why?!

Suho-I've never fallen for someone this hard but for you Chorong. I thought you were the same as all the girls I've had before. But you are totally different. You are way more special

Suho-You are still special to me. But I don't know how to make you feel wanted around me. I was scared if I wasn't enough for you. I was scared if you would walk out of my life just like everyone else. So I left first

Chorong hit Suho's chest many times. Suho let her did that. He deserved more to be honest

Chorong-You left me for one year because of that stupid excuse! I expected something better! I thought you found someone else! Ugh, I'm so mad!

Suho pulled Chorong nearer to him. He pulled her green scarf down and tuck it under Chorong's chin

Suho-I'm sorry for being a coward. I thought I couldn't make you happy. I thought I would fail in this relationship just like how I did before. But I was wrong

Suho started to play with Chorong's hair this time. Tucking a strand behind her ear so it wouldn't cover her pretty face

Suho-To be honest I tried to move on from you. But I couldn't. Everytime I tried to, every single thing we did together would come back to me. I got reminded about our promises, our jokes, our kisses, our dance around the kitchen in your refrigerator light. Your beautiful face came to me every night. I remember you all too well dear

Chorong-Kiss me
Suho-What?
Chorong-Kiss me now. Don't make me wait anymore

Suho smiled. He pulled Chorong to him by her waist and leant over to kiss her lips passionately

Chorong hugged Suho's neck to deepen their kiss. Suho removed her tears with his thumbs. He pulled away

Chorong-*nodded* Yes. I was so happy. I was the happiest me when I was with you

Chorong-Hiks! *sobbed* Yes! I want to. If it was you, take me anywhere as long there is you. I will be happy

Suho nodded grimly. He was also crying

Suho took out a red box from his pocket inside of his coat. Chorong's eyes followed the box, trying to figure out what was inside. Until Suho opened it

Suho-Happy birthday baby
Chorong-*gasped* Birthday? Who? Me?!

Suho chuckled before he kissed Chorong again

Suho-Yes baby, today is your birthday
Chorong-Unbelievable. It has been exactly one year today
Suho-But the difference is this year I am here to celebrate with you. And the same thing is, you are crying again this year

Chorong laughed happily and threw her hands behind Suho's neck. He lifted up the ring box to the same level as their faces

Suho-Starting from this year, I will never miss your birthday again
Chorong-Promise?
Suho-I promise. Will you marry me?

Chorong-Marry?!
Suho-Yes. What did you think about this ring?
Chorong-I thought it is just a couple ring

Suho-Will you marry me Park Chorong?
Chorong-*grinned* Yes Kim Joonmyeon. I will

Chorong gasped in awe once Suho put the ring on her finger

Suho tilted his head and kissed Chorong. This time it was longer than before

Suho pulled away and rested his forehead against Chorong's. Their nose tips met
