Irene absentmindedly touched the bridge of her nose to push up her glasses despite them not having slid down, just a nervous habit she did upon seeing Seulgi enter the classroom. The younger girl was a grade below but despite her rebellious ways, was quite studious. This led her to take a higher-level math class. One where she sat right beside Irene. 

“All right students, buddy work today. Help your desk-mate study for Friday’s exam” the teacher announced. 

Irene gulped before turning to face Seulgi. The younger girl was already facing her, elbow propped on the desk, head resting in her palm. 

“You’re really cute, you know that?”

Irene could have fainted a million faints at that moment.
