Eunha and Jaehyun are at a restaurant eating. The two of them are sitting across from each other. They are talking casually when suddenly, she sees Mr. Lee walking in. She feels her heart skip a beat. Walking in after him is a tall beautiful woman. She hooks her arm into his and smiles. Eunha feels her heart drop. They start walking towards them. 

Eunha tries to hide her face.

“What’s wrong,” Jaehyun asks. “Do you feel pain again?”

Eunha raises her head. She shakes her head.

“Ms. Kang,” Mr. Lee greets. “Fancy seeing you here.”

He sees Jaehyun with her. He starts feeling jealousy rising in him.

“Ahh,” Hyojin says. “Is this Ms. Kang the photographer?”

“Yes,” Mr. Lee answers. 

“Nice to meet you,” Hyojin greets. “I’m Soo Hyojin.”

“Nice to meet you,” Eunha greets back. “I’m Kang Eunha.”

“Is it okay if we join you?”

“Sure,” Jaehyun replies.

The girls sit together, and the boys sit together.

Jaehyun tries to ignore Mr. Lee. Mr. Lee tries to do the same thing.

“Mmm,” Hyojin hums. “The salmon is cooked to perfection.”

Mr. Lee smiles and gives more to her plate.

“Eat more,” he says.

Hyojin smiles.

Eunha pokes at her food.

“Eunha,” Jaehyun says. He gives her more pork belly. “Eat up. You like pork belly.”

“Thank you,” Eunha replies. 

“You haven’t been eating well lately. Maybe that’s why you’ve been having chest pain.”

“Ms. Kang,” Hyojin says. “You have chest pain?”

Eunha nods her head. 

“Oh no. Have you met the doctor?”

“Yes,” Eunha replies.

“The doctors can’t find anything wrong with her,” Mr. Lee says. 

“She’s visited the doctor two times already,” Jaehyun adds.

Mr. Lee and Jaehyun stare at each other.

“Should I refer you to one,” Hyojin asks. “He’s a great cardiologist.”

“I took her to him,” Mr. Lee says. “He couldn’t find anything wrong with her.”

“That’s weird.”

Hyojin grabs a towel and bends over. She wipes Mr. Lee’s mouth.

“You’re like a child,” she chuckles.

Mr. Lee smiles. “Thank you,” he says.

Eunha feels her heart piercing with pain. 

“What’s wrong,” Jaehyun asks.

She is clenching onto her chest. She feels tears welling up in her eyes.

“Are you in pain again,” Jaehyun asks.

“Excuse me,” Eunha says. She excuses herself to the bathroom. Eunha leans over the counter and lets the pain subside. She wipes her tears and takes a deep breath. “Kang Eunha,” she says. “What is wrong with you? Why do you keep doing this?” She pulls herself together and exits the bathroom. 

“Eunha,” Jaehyun says.

He was waiting for her.

"Are you okay,” he asks.

She nods her head. 

“Maybe we should go to the hospital,” Jaehyun says.

Eunha shakes her head. “I don’t think the hospital can help me.”

“Let’s call your parents,” he says. “Maybe they know what to do.”

She shakes her head. “I’ll be fine. Let’s go back.”

Jaehyun helps Eunha back and helps her sit down.

Mr. Lee stares at them. He feels his jealousy rising. He turns away and takes a deep breath.

“Sangyeon,” Hyojin says. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” Mr. Lee says. “Are you full?”

Hyojin nods her head.

“I’ll take care of the bill,” Mr. Lee says. “You two enjoy.”

Mr. Lee and Hyojin walk away hand in hand.

Eunha watches them leave. Her heart is aching. She feels herself getting emotional again, but she holds back her tears.

As Mr. Lee is waiting for the waiter to ring them up, he secretly looks back at Eunha and Jaehyun. 

“Should we go,” Jaehyun asks.

Eunha nods her head.

Jaehyun and Eunha enter her room together.

“How are you feeling,” Jaehyun asks.

“Fine,” she replies.

“Maybe we should contact your mother.”

“I’ll contact her. Thank you Jaehyun. You may go.”

“If anything happens, you know you can call me.”

“Actually,” Eunha starts. “I think perhaps we should meet less now.”

“What do you mean?”

“Jaehyun, I feel like I’m taking you for granted. I know you have feelings for me, and it seems like I’m leading you on. I don’t want to confuse you.”

“I don’t mind,” Jaehyun says. “You can lead me on and take me for granted as much as you want. As long as I’m by your side, I’m happy.”

Eunha shakes her head. “I would feel awful if we kept this going.”

Jaehyun frowns. He hangs his head. “Okay. Know that I’ll always be here for you. When you call, I’ll come running.” Jaehyun exits her room.

That night, Mr. Lee tosses in bed. He sits up and goes to the kitchen. He grabs an apple and starts peeling it. 

"Sangyeon," he starts talking to himself. "What is wrong with you? Why are you acting like this? You have Hyojin. She's your fiance. You two are getting married in two months. How can you like another girl?" 

Mr. Lee takes a bite from the apple. 

"But why does Ms. Kang feel so familiar," he asks himself. 

He beats himself down in his thoughts. 

"You can't be doing this," he lectures himself. "Hyojin! Hyojin! You can't cheat on her! You two are in love!"

He has a mental breakdown. 

The next morning, Mr. Lee wakes up when he feels kisses on his face. He opens his eyes and sees Hyojin.

"Good morning," she greets. She kisses him on the forehead.

"Hyojin," he says. His voice is still groggy. "What are you doing here?"

"I miss you," she says. "I also made breakfast. Let's go eat."

The two of them are sitting at the island table eating breakfast together. 

"Since it's your day off," Hyojin says. "Let's go out."

"What do you want to do," Mr. Lee asks.

"Let's go on a picnic. I'll cook."

Mr. Lee smiles and agrees. 

Later that day, the two of them are sitting at a park having the picnic.

"Aren't you tired from all this cooking," Mr. Lee asks.

"I'm okay," Hyojin replies. "As long as you enjoy the food."

Mr. Lee stares at her. "Hyojin, you're so thoughtful."

"Did you just realize?" She chuckles. "I'm joking. Thank you. I can't wait for our wedding." She smiles. "Just the thought of it makes my heart flutter. I also can't wait to move in with you. I can't wait to wake up to you every morning." 

Mr. Lee listens. He should feel happy, but he isn't. Instead, he feels burdened. 

The next day, Eunha is eating breakfast and listening to the news on tv. She suddenly hears something intriguing to her ears.

"Lee Sangyeon and Soo Hyojin calls off their marriage," the anchor woman says. "Which is a surprise to the whole nation. The two were so in love. What happened? Please tune in at 5 for the answer."

"They broke up," Eunha asks.

She knows she should feel bad, but she feels happy. Suddenly, her phone rings.

"Hello," she says into the phone.

"Ms. Kang," Mr. Lee says. "I'm all set with your SD card. Would you like me to send it over?"

"No, I'll come get it."

Eunha walks to the front desk.

"Mr. Lee invited me over," she tells the lady.

"He told me," the lady says. "He's in a meeting right now. Please wait for him over there." The lady points to the waiting area.

"Thank you," Eunha says.

She walks to the couch and sits down. As she waits, Eunha takes out her phone. 

A few minutes later, the lady tells Eunha to go up to Mr. Lee's office. Eunha does so. She greets Mr. Lee.

Mr. Lee hands her the SD card. 

"Thank you," he says. "Once the documentary is out, I'll give you a copy."

"Thank you, Mr. Lee," she says. She accepts the SD card. "I heard the news. I'm sorry."

"Don't be," he says. "I'm the one who called off the wedding."

"You did? Why?"

"Because I no longer feel the same way I used to feel."

He stands up and walks over to Eunha.

"My feelings have swayed," he says.

Eunha takes a step back. 

"For another person," he finishes. 

"She must," Eunha pauses. "Feel lucky."

"She doesn't know," he says.

"Oh."

"Want me to take you home," he asks.

"No. It's okay. I can take the bus home."

He takes another step toward her.

Eunha takes another step back.

"What is it," she asks.

He leans toward her and takes a deep breath.

"Lilac," he says. "Where do you buy your perfume?"

"At a nearby drugstore," Eunha replies.

Mr. Lee nods his head. "Want to try my lilac perfume?"

Eunha feels awkward. He is still leaning toward her.

"No thank you," Eunha replies. "I can't afford your perfume."

"I'll give it to you for free."

Eunha's eyes widen. "Free? No. I can't accept it."

Mr. Lee smiles. "Fine."

He finally fixes his position. 

"I should get going," Eunha says. Eunha exits the room.
