Time Is Not On Our Side

The night breeze brushes through the skin of a certain tall raven haired girl who was simply lost in her own ocean of thoughts. It was the perfect time to dive and explore all the possibilities that may occur in the next several days.

Sojung was standing on the balcony of the hotel room with a piece of cigarette wrapped around her fingertips. She doesn’t even know why she’s holding one nor even smoking. For all she remembers, she has quitted smoking ever since that thing happened.

Where did she go wrong?

When did she stop loving me?

What even is the reason for their breakup?

The thoughts running in her mind – let alone the memories that keeps flashing – made her laugh bitterly. Raising her hand to take a sip on the stick she was holding, feeling a warm sensation run through to her body. Somehow making her calm and feel the peace of the night that lies ahead of her.

“Smoking again?” A familiar voice spoke, earning the attention of the tall girl. Sojung kept mum, not answering the obvious.

“Shouldn’t you be having fun with the others?” Sojung asked.

The latter couldn’t help but scoff at the question, taking a few steps to stand beside the raven-haired girl. “Shouldn’t I be the one asking you that?”

Sojung shrugged. Not having anything to retort back. Honestly, she doesn’t want to say the reason out loud. After all these time she still couldn’t bring herself to talk about it. Or her.

How long has it been? Five months? Six months? The tall girl had already lost count of the days and months she had been bawling her eyes out, trying to find the broken pieces of her heart. Too exhausted to even figure out how long has it been.

She couldn’t believe that their relationship would just end in just a snap of a finger. A two year relationship just ended in a blink of an eye. The love of her life not giving her a proper explanation on why she doesn’t or can’t do it anymore.

Funny how Sojung thought and still thinks that the girl she will marry is her. Funny how she thinks that there is a second chance for them.

She never thought she would be thinking this was again just because of a mere assumption that Eunha and her will cross paths with her again.

“I want to have an alone time.” Sojung says. Flicking the stick on her hand. “Plus that room is suffocating me.”

A fact. She went at the dining hall half an hour ago and she couldn’t even last that long. It was too lively for her. Thinking that her pathetic self would just ruin the mood if she stayed even longer.

“Please, you always have your alone time. Specially at work.”

“Can’t blame me for wanting to be a lone wolf, Yerin.” Sojung sighed. Turning her head at the brunette beside her, flashing a bitter smile. “Not when she might come here.”

Of course. Yerin thought. Her bestfriend is once again thinking about the girl who ran away with no valid explanation.

When did Sojung stop thinking about her? Did she even stop? People knows how much the tall girl tried to distract herself from the pain. To stop her mind from going back to her. But no matter how much she tried to or how much her friends tries to help her, everything will just end up going back to Eunha.

If only Yerin had the power to erase her bestfriend’s memory of her past lover, she would immediately do it.

She would do anything to bring back the goofy and witty Sojung.

“Are you still beating yourself because of her?” Yerin asked but to be only answered by a mere silence. Only the rustling of the leaves answered her.

“It’s not your fault.” Yerin said almost in a whisper but loud enough to be heard by the raven-haired girl.

Sojug took a deep breath, chuckling after which earned her a confused expression from her friend. Is it not though? Sojung wanted to say that to Yerin. To tell the brunette that how can she think otherwise when Eunha didn’t say the reason. When she was only left to hang in a place where she thought she would cross with her but just to be left alone.

Seeing the reaction from the raven caused Yerin to thin her lips. The brunette knew that she hit something and that she shouldn’t have had said that. She only wanted to make Sojung feel better but god. How did she forget that telling the taller girl that it was not her fault was something that can trigger her.

“I’m sorry.” Was only the words that left Yerin’s mouth out of guilt.

Hearing the apology made Sojung knit her forehead. Throwing the stick on her hand to the trash bin just a few feet away from her.

“Don’t be. You just wanted to cheer me up.” Putting both her hands inside her pockets as she flashes a warm smile to the brunette.

“Babe have you seen this?” Eunha said, running towards her girlfriend who was busy studying for their upcoming midterm exam.

The loud footsteps and shouting of the smaller girl caught the attention of Sojung, turning her head to the smaller girl with a soft smile on her face.

“Now what could have made my baby so excited?” Sojung teased. Eunha only grinned wider upon hearing the pet name. Grabbing the nearest chair and dragging it beside Sojung.

Baby.

Sojung honestly used to cringe just by hearing that word. What more if she’s the one saying it? The girl hated pet names to her bones but that all changed when someone whom she consider special came along her life.

She likes how that word runs along her tongue. How smooth she utter that word. How it could make the butterflies in her lover’s stomach go wild.

“So remember the rumored grand ball this coming September?” Eunha said with such enthusiasm that made the older girl laugh.

Sojung hummed in response. Too amused by her girlfriend to even think of anything to say.

“The university just posted on their website that it’s confirmed it and the theme is like-” Eunha lost Sojung by that already. The older girl was too lost adoring her girlfriend’s features and Eunha doesn’t seem to notice.

Eunha continued to ramble about the ball - which Sojung totally didn’t care about but to just stare at her girlfriend - until she noticed how the older girl wasn’t responding nor even nodding her head.

“Are you even listening to what I was saying?” The younger girl pinched the latter’s shoulder who winced in pain.

“I was busy admiring you, geez.” Sojung whined, now rubbing the reddening part of her skin.

A smile formed on Eunha’s lips. She tried to bite her lower lip to suppress the threatening smile but failed to do so.

“Smooth talker.” Eunha turned her head away from Sojung, busying herself with her phone. Because if she doesn’t do that, her heart might explode from all the fluttering feelings jumping inside her.

“Exclusively only reserved for you.”  Sojung placed her hand below Eunha’s free one and lifted it. Pressing a soft kiss on top of it.

“Now you’re just being the cringe queen.”  The younger girl abruptly retracted her hand from the latter’s grasp and stormed off. Not wanting Sojung to witness how red she is at the very moment.

Sojung couldn’t help but laugh at her girlfriend’s action. How more adorable can this girl get?

“I’ll call you later babe.” Shouting at the now disappearing Eunha who just raised her thumb up in the air.

//////

Clothes were scattered everywhere as Eunha tries to find a certain gold pendant. She can’t believe that she forgot to take the accessory off from her blazer’s pocket the night she got home.  The girl only remembered she left it in her clothes the day she’s set to leave to attend a stupid wedding. Which she clearly doesn’t get why she has to attend it when she’s not even that close with the couple that’s getting married.

The girl wouldn’t even go if not for her boss slash friend telling her to go with her and if not, the great Yuju would cut this month’s salary short. Totally unfair move.

Of course this made Eunha have no choice but to comply to her boss’ request.

“Eunha we’ll be late if you keep that up.” Speak of the devil.

Yuju crossed her arms as she leaned on the door. Just observing - frustrated - the smaller girl who was busy finding a certain pendant. The tall girl knows how important it is for the latter but what she doesn’t understand is why Eunha seems to treasure it like her life depends on it.

“Then you can go first if you’re so worried in being late.” Eunha grunted, rolling her eyes as she continue to throw the cleared clothes to the floor.

“I didn’t even want to attend that stupid wedding in the first place.” The bobbed haired girl mumbled to herself out of frustration Not caring if her boss slash friend will hear it.

“I heard that Jung.”

“Sure, you did.”

Eunha was turning sarcastic making Yuju sigh and help her friend out in this search for the treasured pendant of Jung Eunha. Yuju is certain that Eunha might erupt and go wild if she doesn’t find this necklace so what choice does Choi Yuna has but to help out in this hunt.

“You can find it when we get home.” Yuju made a clicking sound as she knelt on the floor beside the blonde. “You treat it as if it’s some sort of lucky charm.”

The shorter girl’s body grew stiff hearing the side comment of the latter but soon recovered and emphasized her next words. “It is my lucky charm.”

“Then you shouldn’t have broken up with her if you’ll treat everything she gave you like they have some sort of power.” Yuju didn’t mean to snap. Eyes widening in surprise upon the realization on what she had just said. She knew that she was out of line and she has to apologize or say something that could distract the smaller girl.

Seeing how Eunha’s whole demeanor changed, Yuju decides to reach out her hand on the latter’s shoulder and apologize. But before she can do so, she was stopped by the former’s hand. Eunha raised her index finger in the air indicating to not continue whatever Yuju is about to say.

“I have my reasons you know.” The older girl softly said, forcing a smile on her face. She took a deep breath and continued for her search.

I know. Yuju thought to herself.

//////

The loud clicking of the keyboard could be heard. Sojung was busy finishing her report when her girlfriend, Eunha, arrives home. The girl was awfully exhausted that she doesn’t have the energy left to rant about how she hates work.

Noticing how Eunha headed straight to their room without even greeting her, Sojung closed her laptop and placed it on the glass table in front. Standing up to follow her tired lover upstairs.

“Too exhausted to even greet me?” Sojung pouted and acted all cute making the defeated girl on the bed chuckle on how stupid the latter looks like when she does that.

Eunha sat up on the bed, tapping the empty space beside her and telling the older girl to sit by her side.

“So have you eaten yet?” Sojung asked as she interlace their hands together, now sitting beside her lover who rested her head on her shoulder.

“And if I say I haven’t?”

“That’s perfect then.”

“How so?” Eunha asked despite of having an idea on where this conversation is going.

Sojung hummed and pretended to think for a few seconds. “Then we can have each other as dinner.”

A wide grin was planted on the older girl’s face. Eunha couldn’t help but laugh and push her lover out of disbelief.

Just like that, they find themselves laughing.

Eunha’s  exhaustion started to vanish because of Sojung. Her eyes now fixed on the hazel brown orbs of the latter who stared at her with twice the adoration that she was giving.

“I love you.” The younger girl blurted out.

“I love you more.” Sojung replies and plants a chaste kiss on the crown of Eunha.

Eunha rests her head again and tightens her hold on the older girl’s hand, thinking that she definitely has found her home and she couldn’t be more happier.

//////

“Sojung we did not go here to work.” Before the tall girl could even notice, her laptop was now closed and wrapped around Yerin’s arms.

“We didn’t go all the way here just so you can be your workaholic self.” The brunette continued. Reaching out for her bestfriend’s arms to pull her up from the sofa that - in all fairness - Sojung had been sitting on ever since she woke up.

Sojung growled, running her hand through her raven locks.

What does Yerin expect her to do? She’s not even the one getting married. The raven could do whatever she wants and not affect nor mess up the preparation for the ceremony.

“We’re not even the ones getting married so I can do whatever I want.”

Yerin raised her eyebrow, not having any of her friend’s possibly drama. She didn’t like even after all this time Sojung still can’t seem to let go of herself and have fun. All she did was work, work, work, and work her of ever since her break up with the other Jung.

“But that doesn’t mean you drown yourself with work.” The brunette glared at the latter for a split second before replacing it with a smile. “Plus they want you there. You know to meet the other guests.”

“Uhm why do I need to meet the other, quote, guests, unquote? Aren’t we also guests here and not staffs?”

“God you’re frustrating me” Yerin huffs in frustration. “But to answer that, we have to mingle with others and not stay inside our rooms and just leave when the ceremony happens.” The brunette states in a matter of fact.

Sojung sighed. Admitting defeat from her friend, she stood up from her seat and grabbed her burgundy coat hanging on the rack at the corner of the room. “Fine. Let’s go.”

The older girl taps the floor as they wait for the elevator to reach the ground floor. The girl isn’t even interested in doing this mingle thing. She doesn’t even needs or wants new friends -- she doesn’t have time for such things.

“Please remove that frown on your face and be friendly.” Yerin whispered on Sojung’s ear, earning a scowl from the latter.

“I’m only going at the hall because you nagged me to.”

“Still doesn’t mean you can go there with a big frown on your face.”

“Make me.” Sojung stuck out her tongue, acting like a child.

“Why am I friends with you again?” Yerin joked. Not believing that Sojung’s inner child is acting up again.

Sojung shrugged. Opening to speak but stops when a ding came from the elevator and the door opens revealing someone she never wanted to see.

The tall girl knew that this was coming and she was even preparing herself for this but she never knew that it would be this bad.

In front of her was none other than Eunha. The short girl was wearing a white loose polo and ripped jeans, her right hand holding the handle of her pink suitcase while the other holds her gray blazer.

The tall girl felt her breathing get heavier at the encounter, having a staring contest for a few seconds before the younger girl decided to break the ice.

“Hi.” Her voice still sounds the same. It was still the same soft voice that Sojung loves, the same voice that soothes.

But this time, it didn’t give her comfort. It rather made Sojung’s world crumble into pieces.

As if she was once again back to zero.

//////

Maybe stunned is an understatement. Sojung had been spacing out since they arrived at the dining hall. Her hand was busy stirring the hot brewed coffee while her eyes stares into nowhere. Mind going crazy over her meeting with her past lover.

It was as if her body is present but her soul itself is busy traveling memory lane.

Eunha attending this wedding was just a baseless rumor when the news broke out to her. No one was certain that the younger girl would even attend. Considering the fact that she wasn’t even on the guest list since the couple that will get married and her were not even considered close enough to be invited.

But Sojung hoped.

The tall girl hoped that she would see the girl again. To have the closure she had been wanting to have for months. To have her peace of mind. And maybe more than that.

Now, Sojung is not sure she wants any of those to happen. Fear was slowly creeping to her. She was starting to wonder if she could even handle the pain. Can she handle the pain?

A light push at the shoulder gained the attention of the dazed Sojung. Quickly blinking a few times and shaking her head before facing Yerin who had been nudging her for the last minute.

“Uhm what were you saying?” The older girl whispered, quite confused on what was happening.

Yerin could only heave a sigh. “I said, finish up your food. They’re calling us to the skating rink.”

“The skating rink?”

The brunette hummed, slowly nodding her head. Not even sparing any glance at the older girl.

“Do I have to?” Sojung asked.

It was obvious  that the tall girl doesn’t want to go to such place. Heck, it’s not even a secret that skating rinks had become one of the places Sojung despises the most after that thing happened between them. Even hearing the two words can make her tense up.

Memories unconsciously flashing in her mind.

“You don’t have to go.” Yerin shortly replied. Cautious of her next words. “I mean I’m going there, almost everyone’s going there.”

Almost everyone.  A lump starts to form in the throat of the twenty-five year old Kim Sojung. The mere thought of being in the same place as Eunha was giving her a hard time to breath. Too many negative emotions were threatening to swallow her.

Who would have thought that someone she once considered home now scares her the most.

“You can stay in your room, Sojung. I don’t mind going alone specially if you’re uncomfortable going there.” A loud screech coming from the wooden seat was heard, Yerin was now on her feet. Giving the older girl a reassuring smile.

Taking a deep breath, closing her eyes as she attempts to brush away the thousand of thoughts running in her mind.

It’s been months already so maybe being in such place wouldn’t anymore affect her that much, right? What kind of harm could happen in trying anyways?

“No it’s fine.” Yerin was taken aback hearing the bravery of her friend. Not quite following what or why did the latter change her mind.

“Besides I think I’ll do better if I’m not alone.” Specially at this kind of time.

“Right…” Yerin responded. The tips of her lips curving upwards. “Let’s go then.”

What harm could the skating rink do to her?

Who knows what could happen?

//////

Eunha was struggling to balance herself on the wide skating rink. The girl did nothing but to hold the metal bar hanged along the concrete wall of the rink. She had enough of embarrassing herself in front of these many people -- specially from her girlfriend.

“Look who’s giving up.” Sojung teased the latter. Her hands both clasped behind her back as she skated her way following the smaller girl.

“I thought you wanted to go skating.” The older girl added, emphasizing the last word.

Eunha rolled her eyes and groaned in annoyance. “I did. But I didn’t expect it to be this unromantic.”

Sojung couldn’t help but laugh at the adorable sight that she was witnessing. The older girl clearly knew what kind of romantic date Eunha had on mind -- she knew that since the beginning they arrived at the newly opened rink. Sojung just couldn’t help but tease younger girl for being an inexperienced skater.

A devilish act if you ask me.

But who could blame her? Sojung loves to tease the smaller girl and seeing how the latter reacts.

“Can we just go home now please?” Eunha whined, still holding on the metal bar but now standing still in place.

Seeing how much Eunha was telling the truth - that she admits defeat - Sojung flashes a small smile. Approaching her lover and grabbing both her her hands, interlacing her own with the latter.

“What are you doing?” Eunha was perplexed at the sudden action of the taller girl. She almost lost her balance upon the contact but Sojung was fast enough to catch her.

“Careful there.” Sojung teased, her right arm now s around Eunha’s waist.

“I- It’s y-your fault for suddenly grabbing me from my support.” It wasn’t that hard not to notice the reddening cheeks of the smaller girl. She always turns to different shades of red whenever such intimate things happen between her and the taller girl.

Sojung pulled Eunha closer, not caring if both of them falls on the cold ice. “Well you told me you envisioned this date to be romantic so I’m granting your wish, your majesty.”

The younger girl’s breath hitched, totally not expecting the turn of events of their date.

If only a person could die because of their heart somersaulting in joy, Eunha would have already been dead for a long time. Specially every time Sojung stares at her as if she was bare. As if the taller girl could see her everything. As if Eunha is Sojung’s everything.

Just like now, Eunha swears she could melt by the mere gaze of the older girl.

“I’ll teach you how to skate. Just hold my hand and never let go.” A soft pair of lips met Eunha’s for a brief moment before Sojung removed her arms around the former’s waist. Now holding Eunha’s hand as Sojung became the smaller girl’s support. Slowly guiding her on the rink.

//////

Eunha rubs her shuddering shoulders, hoping that doing so can help her body get some heat. The girl regrets that she didn’t wear a thicker layer of jacket when going at the skating rink.

Sniffling as her eyes travels around the vicinity until it landed on the entrance door where two familiar people enters. Revealing Sojung and - who Eunha presumes to be - her best friend. The small girl’s eyes never left her past lover’s direction, helplessly adoring the sight that she have missed.

The girl had no idea that the older girl would be attending the same event as hers. And she had no idea that it would hurt her this much.

Seeing the girl she ran away from hurts her more than it should.

She shouldn’t be feeling this way.

Eunha thought that by this time she already got over from Sojung.

Who is she kidding though? She never tried on moving on the first place. Her mind never left the older girl. It always screams for Kim Sojung. Wishing that maybe her cries would be heard and the older girl would appear right in front of her.

Holding and kissing her like tomorrow does not exist.

“Stop staring.”

Eunha turned her head and was greeted by Yuju who had a glass of juice on her hand.

“I’m not staring.” She defensively said.

“You are -- or at least you were.” Yuju took a sip from the glass.

Silence engulfed the two, Eunha staring on the ground as her fingers fidgeted together and Yuju staring at the same girl whom the former had her eyes on for the couple of minutes before she arrived.

“As much as I hate to say it, it is kinda your fault for breaking up with her.”

The smaller girl remained silent despite of the comment that managed to stab her heart.

It is her fault and she’s not proud of it. She had her reasons and she is not proud of not telling Sojung her reason which made her look like she ran away and fell out of love from the older. When that wasn’t even the case.

“You should talk to her while you have the chance.” Yuju added. The suggestion made Eunha raise her head, body tensing up just by the thought of having a conversation with Sojung.

A conversation wherein the girl is not even sure if she’s brave enough to do so.

What if she hates me?

“She probably hates you though.” Yuju replies, Eunha’s eyes widening in surprise. Quite uncertain if she had said her question out loud.

Just as though the taller girl heard her. “And no, you didn’t say anything. You’re just easy to read.”

It didn’t take another second until the younger girl placed another bullet on Eunha. “It’s actually a move. You know, leaving her with no explanation.”

By now, Eunha has been holding back her tears. Feeling breathless, suffocated like the oxygen around them was running out.

“You should really talk to her while you can.” Yuju turned around, taking a few steps before halting to say one last thing. “This might be your last chance.”

Eunha was left shaking. Her hands clenched so tight that her fingernails were almost piercing, skin turning pale white. Biting her lower lip and eyes closed shut.

The pain she was feeling her heart was too much that she couldn’t even feel the pain on her hands.

She doesn’t even know that she was running out of place. She wanted -- needed to get out of this place.

//////

The loud footsteps and possibly whimpers of Eunha caught almost everyone’s attention. Even Sojung.

Sojung’s eyes were glued on the door. Confused on why her past lover stormed off… as if she was crying.

She couldn’t be. The tall girl thought to herself.  Convincing herself that the latter was probably just didn’t want to be in this place.

But why?

Sojung expected that Eunha had already moved on from her. When you put it like how Eunha ended their relationship as if it was nothing, shouldn’t she be at least be happy now? Have someone else by her side?

Their encounter at the elevator says otherwise. The moment their eyes landed on each other, all Sojung could see was emptiness. Loneliness. Longing.

She couldn’t understand well why she saw such thing.

“Do you want to go after her?” Yerin asks.

“No.” Sojung shortly replies, eyes still glued on the door.

The older girl heaved a sigh before turning around and started walking towards the shoe area.

If Sojung was being honest, she was curious as on why her past lover stormed off. She wanted to run after her.

But who is she to do that?

They are now nothing but mere strangers.

//////

Loud sobs were coming from the bathroom.

Sojung ran after her lover when someone told her Eunha was seen running towards the third floor’s bathroom like someone had hurt her.

The tall girl was standing in front of the stall that the younger girl is hiding at and she doesn’t have any clue on what to do. She wasn’t the type of person to be experienced nor be good in comforting others so what is she supposed to do.

Hearing her lover’s sobs and whimpers were breaking her heart.

Hell Sojung was even terrified in seeing her girlfriend have bloodshot eyes and be so fragile in front of her.

She thinned her lips, raising her right hand -- mustering up courage -- to knock on the stall’s door.

“Hey baby, it’s me.” Sojung whispered.

But Eunha didn’t respond. The younger girl continued to sob, alarming the latter.

“Eunha can you please open the door?” Sojung asked -- almost pleading. Wanting to wrap Eunha around her arms and tell her that everything is going to be fine and that she will always be there for the girl.

Eunha didn’t say anything but this time a click was heard from the door, slowly opening and have a narrow space opened.

Seeing the door open, the older girl didn’t wait for the latter to speak. And in a heart beat Eunha was wrapped on Sojung’s arms.

“I’m here. I’m here.” Sojung the strand of hair that covers Eunha’s face. “It’s going to be alright. Whatever it is. It will be fine.”

Sojung didn’t ask nor pry about the cause of this sudden breakdown of her girlfriend. She knew when to do it and when to keep mum and this time was definitely the latter.

She will always protect Eunha from ll the possible cruel thing in this world.

Even if it hurts her.

//////

It was finally the day. The long awaited ceremony -- and the reason why they were here in the first place -- was finally happening.

Eunha wore her knee length white dress, hair slightly curled up, and the pendant that she was panicking about before the trip was laced around her neck.

The girl was nervous as . She was terrified on what’s about to happen on this day.

How did she even manage to think of doing that?

Would it even solve anything?

Maybe for her, it won’t. But for Sojung, maybe it will.

Eunha just needs to find the older girl and not chicken out or she will lose this chance. For all she knows, this might be their last chance on speaking or even meeting each other.

On the contrary, if their conversation go well, this day might even not be so bad. Maybe they’ll be on speaking terms once again.

The odds just needs to be with her for that to happen.

She hopes that it is on her side.

Countless of possible thoughts swam in her mind until she bumped into someone, causing her to almost fall on her back. To her surprise, before she could even land back first, a hand caught her wrist.

What more shocked her was the identity of the person she bumped into. Of all the people she could have embarrassed herself, of course it had to be Sojung.

The word panic was not enough to describe her situation. She couldn’t even speak, her voice doesn’t even want to cooperate with her.

“Be careful next time.” Was all Sojung said. Her voice sounded so different from the past that was so full of glee. The way she uttered those words broke Eunha.

What does she expect Sojung to be after she left with no explanation?

Was it wrong for her to think that Sojung would have already moved on and be with someone more deserving?

Was it wrong for her to think that Sojung would be happy now?

Why did she think all of those when she clearly knew that those will not be the case.

Eunha clenched her fist, biting the inside of as she watch Sojung walk away. The small girl only thought of one thing in order to gather up her courage.

“Sojung.” The tall girl stopped, hearing the smaller call out her name.

Sojung swirled her right toe, now facing Eunha. Raising her eyebrow, waiting for the latter to speak.

“Can we talk?”

“Are we not talking right now?” The older girl questions.

“We are but.” Eunha bit her upper lip, taking a few steps forward so she doesn’t have to shout. “I mean can we talk properly?”

Sojung kept mum, her poker face wasn’t helping to calm the nerves of the younger girl.

One.

Two.

Three.

Exactly three seconds of silence enveloped them before Sojung broke the forming ice.

“I can’t. Ceremony’s starting soon.” The older girl nonchalantly said as she look at her wristwatch.

“Then can we talk after?” Eunha suggested. She was preparing for the worse. That Sojung will say that she doesn’t have any time with her games.

Instead, the older girl’s next words gave her hope. Tugging a piece of her heart.

“Five Minutes.” Sojung shortly said. Walking towards the wall to lean and cross her arms in front of her chest.

“You get five minutes to talk.”

Those six words gave Eunha hope. It may be only a short time to explain everything but it is enough for her to tell Sojung everything -- specially on what she felt and still feels.

Eunha hopes that the time will be on their side.

Chapter 1: Like many other readers in the comments, I want to know Eunha's reason... The whole story is written beautifully and kept me on edge until the very end. I like how you kept it ambiguous, though. I feel like that was the whole point in a sense; people do have their reasons, but sometimes it doesn't matter because at the end of the day, people just drift apart, and it can't be helped.

Chapter 1: This kinda hurt... Whatever reason it is, I think Eunha should talk properly to Sojung before she left her. Sojung deserve to know the reason behind and both of them clearly still love each other..
Thank you for this beautiful one-shot wishnim! ^^
