"Aish.." Dr.Choi sighed.
"She seems like she's running a fever Tiffany"

"I guess so"
"She ran out to look for Krystal without any jacket or coat on"
"It makes no sense if she didnt catch any cold" replied Tiffany with a sigh

"I see"
"Go bring 2 small pail of cold water with 2 cloth" instructed Dr.Choi as he put the portable oxygen mask over Jessica's mouth&nose.
"Taeyeon, let her leave this oxygen mask over her for the night first"
"If she's still feeling unwell, call me again"
"And this IV im putting in, i'll remove it tomorrow morning"

"Okay Dr.Choi"
"Thanks a lot" smiled Taeyeon

As soon as Dr.Choi left, the other girls who were outside came in.
Tiffany came in with 2 small pail of cold water, dabbed the cloth wet and left it on Krystal&Jessica's forehead to help bring the fever down.

"Who's she?" Sooyoung asked pointing at Krystal

"She's Jessica's dongsaeng, Krystal" replied Yoonyul

"And why is she in this state?"
"And Jessica too?" asked Sunny
"Plus, if its just catching a cold with high fever, why does Jessica need to have an oxygen mask over her?"

"What wrong with Sica unnie?" Seohyun asked

"Yeah whats wrong?"
"Can someone please start answering?" urged Hyoyeon

"Well, im not supposed to tell you girls about this"
"Its up to Jessica to tell you or not"
"If she dont, she has her reasons"
"Please understand her" said Taeyeon

"Yeah, now she needs some rest" agreed Tiffany.
"Taeyeon&I will stay here over the night to look after the both of them"

"Yup, you girls can go back to sleep" smiled Taeyeon

"You sure?"
"Dont need any of our help?" asked Sooyoung

"Nope, really thanks anyway"

"Okay then, but remember you all have some explanations to make tomorrow" said Sooyoung

"Okayokay"
"We will. Just wait for Jessica to regain conscious"
"'Cause Tiffany&I still dont really know what was going on"

"Okay then, goodnights" replied the other girls.

"Goodnight, sleep tight&dont let the bed bugs bite" smile Tiffany

Throughout the night, Taeyeon slept by Jessica's bed while Tiffany slept by Krystal's bed.
Constantly changing their towels on their forehead.
Then, slowly the both of them fell asleep but Jessica woke up.
She sat up the bed, took off the oxygen mask and walked over to Krystal.

"Byuneh, Krys"
"Its all unnie's fault, getting you sick&hurt" sobbed Jessica softly.

Then she walked into the living room and started sobbing to herself.
Blaming herself for being such a bad unnie, didnt took good care of Krystal.
Didnt gave her much attention, that caused her to be in her current state.
Over in the room, Taeyeon woke up, saw that the bed is empty&someone was sobbing outside.
So she tiptoed into the living to take a look at what was going on.
All she saw was Jessica, hugging her legs, sobbing&sobbing.

"Hey Sica"
"Hushhush" Taeyeon cooed as she hugged Jessica
"Dont cry.."
"It hurts me so much to see you cry, Sica"

"Taetae.. Im.. such.. a.. bad.. unnie" cried Sica
"Im.. the.. cause.. of.. Krystal's.. current state.."
"I..shouldnt..have..joined..you..all..leaving..Krystal.. alone"

"Dont cry Sica"
"Its not your fault okay?"
"Plus, you're not in any better shape than Krystal"
"You know that, and you know that you tried your best to protect and took care of her"
"So stop blaming yourself, Krystal wont want to see you like this"

But Jessica just cant stop crying, and eventually cried herself to sleep.
Taeyeon's heart hurt so much, to see that Jessica was hurting so much.
After Jessica fell back to sleep, she carried her back into the room on the bed and put back the oxygen mask for her.
The next morning, Krystal started waking up due to the sunlight that was shinning through  the windows onto her bed.
She sat up and looked around.

Krystal's POV

Where is this place?..
All i remember was unnie came for me?..
Hmm..

Arghh..
My head hurts, and im feeling weak all over..

End of Krystal's POV

"Hey, baby jung"
"You're awake" said Tiffany softly
"How're you feeling now?"
"You're fever's dropped quite a bit"
"But you're still having a slight fever"

"What about unnie?"

"Jessica, she carried you all the way back here"
"Or should i say ran all the way back here"
"And had an asthma attack&fever" Tiffany said while pointing at Jessica who's lying on the bed.

"Omo.." Krystal started sobbing
"Its all my fault"
"Unnie shouldnt have came" cried Krystal

"Shhh"
"Hush Krys"
"Your sister was super remorseful for not being able to take good care of you"
"I heard from Taeyeon that she cried herself to sleep last night"

"Yeah, Krystal"
"Sica cried herself to sleep last night" Taeyeon said as she walked into the room, taking the temperature of the Jung sisters.
"Hmm.. It seems like you're still having a slight fever Krystal"
"Rest more okay?"

"How about unnie?" Krystal asked with concern

"Jessica's fever still at 39degrees"
"Probably because she cried so badly last night" explained Taeyeon as she took off the oxygen mask from Jessica.
 
Few hours later, Dr.Choi came in to remove the IV from Krystal&Jessica.
Since Jessica's fever's still pretty high, Dr.Choi gave her a fever reducer jab.
After that, Jessica sat in the living room together with Krystal and the other girls.

"Now, the both of you owe us an explanation Jessica" said Sooyoung
"So what the hell happened to you?"

"Well, it was.." Jessica stopped.

She didnt know how to start, what to say&how to explain.
Then she was interupted by Krystal.

"Erm, it was because of me"
"Dont blame unnie" said Krystal
"Yesterday, i got locked up in the cubicle since late morning after getting pushed around by the queenkas of my school"
"They wanted unnie's autograph&picture but i said no"
"I cant even see unnie so often, how can i even get it from her" Krystal explained as tears rolled down her cheeks
"I rejected them but they took it as me being cocky&arrogant"
"So they pushed me around, this time got a little serious though"
"Last few months its just throwing my things around and saying bitter stuff to me"
"So thats probably it"
"Unnie couldnt find me and was worried, thats why the big commotion last night" explained Krystal

"What?!"
"What kind of queenkas do you have in you school Krystal?"
"Tell me who is it, unnie will help you get back at them" said Sunny with a wicked grin

"Uh..?"
"Unnie, not a good idea?" said Seohyun

"Who cares Seohyun, did you forget who is my dad?" said Sunny

"Yeah, better not unnie" said Krystal
"They are in some kind of gang"

"Gang?!"
"HAH! What gang?!" laughed Sunny sacarstically.
"Just tell me, i'll make sure no one dares to bully you again" promised Sunny

"They are Amber,Luna&Victoria" said Krystal
"They are of the same age&class as me"

"OKAY can!"
"Unnie will take care of this" smirked Sunny

"Thanks Sunny" replied Jessica softly
 
Taeyeon then turned and looked at Jessica.
She's getting flushed.

"Wait, we're not done yet"
"Why are in with an oxygen mask last night?" asked Hyoyeon

"Yeah! Why?"
"Arent we supposed to know each other's health condition since we are a group?"
"Dont treat us like some outsiders" said Sooyoung

"Ani..Nothing much"
"Its just something normal for me.."
"Its nothing much for you girls to know, its gonna be a burden to you girls" said Jessica sadly

"Nothing will be a burden to us Jessica" said Tiffany

"No..It will be, at least to me"

"Nevermind unnies, when Sica unnie is ready to tell us"
"She will, right?" said Seohyun

"I guess so.." smiled Jessica

"Unnie, are you okay?"
"Why are you getting redder and redder?" asked Krystal as she placed her hands on Jessica's face then forehead.

"Im not sure about this.."
"Why havent your fever gone down since last night?"
"Plus, you even took a jab from Dr.Choi.." said Krystal

"You know whenever im sick, i took a tad longer than you all to recover"

"You sure?" asked Sunny

"Yeah, we'll have to leave for the talkshow later Jessica" said Sooyoung&Hyoyeon

"And if you're sick, we can ask Kyuhyun oppa to let you rest here, with Krystal" said Yoonyul

"Yeah, Sica, dont force yourself"
"You've been working so hard, for this group&your company for the months" said Taeyeon

"You're also overworking yourself for this group&your own company"
"And girls, i cant disappoint our fans"
"If they know im going to be absent 'cause im sick"
"They will be really worried" explained Jessica

"But i dont know about anything" said Tiffany

"Go get some rest" instructed Jessica

"Love you Krys" Jessica said as she gave Krystal a quick peck on her cheeks and left the dorm with the girls.

At the talkshow

"Lets welcome SNSD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" shouted the MC as cheers from the fans filled the stage.

So the talkshow went on for an hour and half while Jessica just sat there,
not doing anything.
She was trying to get a rest, her head was hurting&she's feeling really dizzy.
Just as the talkshow ended, everyone was getting up when Jessica fell.

"Sica, kwenchana?" asked Taeyeon as she helped Jessica up

"Neh, just a little dizzy"
"Thats all" smiled Jessica as she walked towards the backstage

As soon as Jessica got back to the rest room for SNSD,
she plopped down on the couch in the room and heaved a big sigh of relief.
While the other 8 girls were packing up and changing,
Jessica fell asleep, she had a dream.

Jessica's dream

It was a garden, a very familiar garden with colourful flowers in it.
Everything felt so close yet so far from Jessica.
She was running around in the garden, catching butterflies that were flying around.
It was her happiest moment up till now.
And suddenly, she saw her parents.

"Honey, come to omma"
"Our princess, come to appa"
"We missed you princess" called her parents.

"APPA! OMMA!" Jessica shouted as she ran towards her parents.

Its been a long time since she heard her parents calling her "princess".
Her parents called her and Krystal a princess when her mum was still healthy, not yet diagnosed with leukemia.
She missed being her parents' princess.
She really missed it, for years.
But, as Jessica ran towards her parents, her parents started backing away.

"Wae?"
"Appa! Omma!"
"Dont leave Jessica"
"Dont!" cried Jessica

As she dashes towards it, her parents disappeared.
And the whole scene changed.
It was in a dark room, evil laughters were heard.
Laughing at her, taunting her.
Voices were all over the place.
Suddenly, she saw her parents' angry face.

"WHY JESSICA?!"
"WHY DIDNT YOU TAKE GREAT CARE OF YOUR SISTER?!"
"BECAUSE WE ARE DEAD DOESNT MEAN YOU CAN NEGLECT YOUR SISTER!" boomed Jessica's dad.

"Yes, why Jessica?"
"Why? Im so disappointed in you" said Jessica's mum sadly.

"Omma?Appa?"
"Werent you calling me princess?"
"Why now my name?"
"Im sorry i didnt take good care of Krystal" sobbed Jessica

"You expect us to call you a princess when you dont deserve one?"
"Made Krystal suffered like this?!" shouted Mr.Jung

Then, voices started to fade away.
Only to hear another group of voices..

"Wake up, Sica"
"Wake up! Wake up!" called Taeyeon

"Unnie, wake up please" pleaded Seohyun

"Jessica, wake up!" called the girls

Jessica then started stirring from her sleep and slowly woke up to see all the other 8 girls with a worried look,
looking at her. She was still in a shocked mode after waking up from her dream.

"i think her fever's getting higher"
"And she's getting delirious" said Sooyoung

"Yeah, we better call Dr.Choi" agreed Sunny
"Tiffany or Taeyeon, either one of you"
"Call Dr.Choi to go to our dorm right now"

"Okay, i will" volunteered Tiffany

"Yoonyul, go and tell Kyuhyun oppa Jessica has to go back now"
"Her fever's making her delirious" instructed Sooyoung

"On my way~" Hyoyeon said and dashed out of the room
"Oh there you are oppa"
"Im afraid you have to cancel our schedule"
"Jessica's running a high fever now, and she's getting delirious"
"We have to get her home now" informed Hyoyeon

"Really?"
"You should get her to the hospital instead"

"No, she's got her own personal doctor on his way to our dorm already" said Hyoyeon

"Oh, okay"
"I'll call the company to let them settle the matter"

*Phone call*

"Ah neh, im Kyuhyun"
"SNSD's manager"
"Our Jessica's down with a high fever and im afraid you'll have to cancel our schedule for the day and probably tomorrow if possible"

"You're left with just 1 more schedule, cant you finish it?"

"No, Jessica's suspect of getting dehydration!"
"She's has to seek medical support now!"

"Oh really, okay then"
"Please get back to the schedule ASAP"

So Kyuhyun went back into the room&carried Jessica down to the carpark and into the van to avoid the vans who were outside.

"Gosh, she sure is burning" commented Kyuhyun as he carried Jessica up

"We know right!" replied the 8 girls, giving Kyuhyun a "duh" look.

As soon as they got Jessica back in bed, Dr.Choi started checking Jessica up,
giving her the usual stuff while the girls except for Krystal&Taeyeon, were outside the room waiting.
When Dr.Choi's done, Jessica woke up and asked Krystal to stay behind while Taeyeon to wait outside the room.

"Krystal" Jessica called while her eyes started to tear up.
"I dreamt of appa&omma.."
"they hate me Krys.." cried Jessica
"they hate me.."

"Ani, unnie"
"Its not like that, the dream's an illusion"
"you were hallucinating 'cause your fever's too high" comforted Krystal

"Ani.. jinja.."
"Krys.. i dreamt of them.."
"one moment, i was with them"
"and they were calling my princess.."
"then it was gone.."
"and i went into this cold, dark room.."
"everything's so scary Krystal.." cried Jessica as she hugged Krystal
"Krystal, dont hate me too"
"I didnt mean it, i didnt mean to cause you so much hurt"

"Unnies who are outside!" shouted Krystal
"Come in and help me!"

The 8 girls rushed in, wondering what was going on.

"Unnie, please help me"
"Jessica unnie's getting delirious"
"I dont know how long will it take for her fever to go down somemore"
"she's unconsciously talking" said Krystal.
"Can you all hold unnie down, while i get Dr.Choi to come back again"

"Okay, Yoona&Sooyoung will do the holding part"
"Im sure the shikshin has a lot of strenght" joked Hyoyeon

"Tiffany unnie, can you help grab cold water&cloth?"
"Taeyeon unnie, get a change of clothes for Jessica unnie?"

"Neh" answered the two and went off.

*Phone call*

"Dr.Choi, unnie's fever too high"
"She's like hallucinating, what should i do?"

"Jinja?! Aish, i just left your dorm just now"
"Nevermind, i'll make a turn and come back"

*End of phone call*

When Dr.Choi came back up, he injected something into her IV and Jessica slowly went back to sleep.
Dr.Choi then shut the door up, leaving only Krystal&himself

"Aish, this is getting nowhere"
"If her fever persists, im gonna take her blood for a test" announced Dr.Choi

"Neh?" asked Krystal

"Krystal, remembered what happened to you before you were diagnosed with leukemia?" questioned Dr.Choi

"Err.."
"Frequent nosebleed? Forever getting a fever?"
"WAIT! Dont tell me unnie?..." asked Krystal
"It cant be Dr.Choi.."

"Calm down Krystal"
"This is just my assumption"
"It might not be true, but her fever.." said Dr.Choi
"Its giving me lots of doubts"

"Dr.Choi, why not you just get her blood for a test now?"
"While she's unconscious"
"You know it'll be hard to get it from her when she's conscious" said Krystal

"I guess so"

So Dr.Choi went on to get Jessica's bloodsample and put it back into his briefcase.
Before Dr.Choi left, Krystal said.

"Hope to hear good news instead of bad news from you"

"I hope to see good news too" smiled Dr.Choi

Throughout the whole night, Tiffany,Taeyeon&Krystal took turns taking care of her,
changing her towels, wiping her body, taking her temperature.
At times, Yoonyul, Soohyo, Sunny&Seohyun will pop in awhile to take a quick look at Jessica.
Their groupmate is sick and they cant possibly sleep with worries.
And soon, morning came and finally, Jessica's fever came down to a lower grade fever.
At least its some big improvement as compared to yesterday.

"Did you sleep well unnie?" asked Krystal as Jessica sat up on her bed

"I guess so" smiled Jessica

"You got me and your group members so worried!" said Krystal

"Byuneh" replied Jessica

"I hope you're really sorry for it!" said Sooyoung as she entered
"We were so worried about you last night"
"Bursting into tears so suddenly"
"Making us at a loss" continued Sooyoung

"Jinja byuneh" Jessica started standing up to bowed but fell over the bed as her body was still feeling weak.
"Sorry Sooyoung, im such a burden to you"
"Next time, if this happens, get Krystal to send me home"
"I'll recover before coming back" said Jessica sadly

"YAH! I was just kidding"
"Im not even serious about you giving us trouble!"
"Dont say that!" cried Sooyoung

"Byuneh.."

Days slowly passed, and Jessica finally recovered and started attending their schedules together,
singing and promoting together as a group.
She loved the time she gets to spend with her members, despite the fact that they didnt communicate much.
Jessica always stayed quiet around the members, only answering what they asked them.
Its not that Jessica hates them, its just that she doesnt feel like talking.
