"They aren't gonna handle this well, you know." Yuju whispered quietly to the taller, glancing over at the group of former kittens that were doing their own things in the living room. SinB and Yerin were playing video games again while Eunha and Umji chatted away, Umji happily sitting on Eunha's lap while their conversation continued. 

"I know. But it has to be done." Sowon exhaled, running a hand through her long blonde locks. Both her and Yuju were standing in the kitchen, cleaning dishes and putting away the leftover food from breakfast. Sowon was thankful that Yuju had such a calm energy, able to handle new situations with almost no issue. 

"I'll try my best to keep them calm but I can't promise anything." Yuju said, making sure everything was put back before closing the door to the refrigerator. 

"Any help is better than none." Sowon nodded. "I really appreciate it, Yuju. But I'm worried about you too. Are you sure you'll be okay?"

"I'll be fine." Yuju smiled confidently. "With you by my side, I can handle anything."

Sowon returned the smile, feeling warmth fill her chest. She placed the last dish away to dry and kissed Yuju's forehead, proud of how far the former gray kitten had come since she had transformed back all those months ago. Yuju nuzzled against Sowon for a brief moment before making her way to the living room in preparation. The blonde let out another sigh as she dried her hands off with the kitchen towel. This was going to be a long day, she could already sense it. 

"Girls." Sowon called out, causing everyone to turn to look at her. Yerin had paused the game while SinB groaned, not happy that their session had been interrupted.

"I need you all to get ready to go out." Sowon was in front of the couch now, glancing at Yuju for support. Yuju nodded, mentally giving her strength.

"We have somewhere to be in thirty minutes."

"Somewhere?" Eunha asked. "Is it the zoo again?"

"No." Sowon shook her head, choosing her next words carefully. "It's not going to be a fun place. I'm sorry."

"What does that mean?" SinB was starting to look tense, her previously relaxed expression changing. That wasn't a good sign.

"I need...." Sowon paused for a few seconds before continuing. "....I need to make sure you all are healthy."

  That was it. The realization of where exactly the taller was going to take them hit SinB first. In a flash, the former black kitten was jumping off the couch and running as fast as she possibly could to her bedroom. Sowon took off after her, leaving the other girls to Yuju's care. 

  "SinB!" Sowon yelled, gaining speed once SinB reached the stairs. SinB didn't respond, too focused on finding a good hiding spot. But it was too late, Sowon had caught up to her, tackling her down to the carpeted floor. The younger girl was hissing now, biting at Sowon's arm as she slipped fully into kitten mode. Thankfully, SinB's bites were less effective than before thanks to the fact that she was human. Sowon ignored the bites, picking up SinB into her arms. SinB was growling now, trying to get out of Sowon's grip. 

  Downstairs, Yuju was busy trying to calm the rest of the girls down. Eunha wasn't running away but she wasn't letting anyone touch her, hiding her face in her shirt. Umji was in Yerin's arms, trying to disappear into the side of Yerin's zipper hoodie. Yerin's reaction was the least expected, the former ginger kitten hissing at Yuju much like SinB had been doing to Sowon, holding Umji protectively.  

"Yerin, its alright." Yuju said, trying to get Yerin to allow her to touch her. "It's just a doctor visit. Sowon just wants to make sure you're okay."

  Yerin hissed again, whining loudly as Yuju's hand touched her face, the former gray kitten's thumb caressing her cheek gently. The motion seemed to help somewhat, but Yerin was still trembling from head to toe. Yuju kissed her forehead, knowing that Yerin found the most comfort in affectionate gestures like that. Sowon had returned with SinB in her arms, still unable to snap SinB out of her kitten like state this time. SinB was hissing again, biting at Sowon's arms in a last ditch effort to get her to let go.

"This is going well." Sowon commented sarcastically, almost completely unfazed by SinB's behavior. 

"Want me to get the car unlocked?" Yuju asked, wincing as she felt Yerin angrily bite her arm. So much for calming Yerin down.

"Please." Sowon replied, keeping her tight hold on SinB. "The keys are on the counter."

  "No!" Eunha's voice cried out, her hands pulling at Sowon's arms to get her to let go. SinB was already buckled in the car with Yuju next to her, growling under her breath as Yuju held her arm tightly so she wouldn't try to take off her seatbelt. Yerin was in the backseat, her potential path to try and exit the car blocked by Yuju's leg. Umji was in the front seat, her head and face hidden by the hood of the jacket that she had stolen off of Yerin. 

"It's not going to be that bad, Eunha." Sowon pulled the short haired girl along, keeping her grip as firm as she could without hurting Eunha. 

   "No!" Eunha repeated, whining as loud as her lungs would let her. Sowon was thankful that the nearest neighbors were several blocks away. The blonde managed to pass Eunha over to Yuju, the former gray kitten getting her settled in the backseat with Yerin while Sowon made sure to keep SinB in place. Closing the door of the SUV shut, Sowon was quick to get into the drivers seat before locking the car with the child safety lock that was built into the SUV. She took a breath before glancing over at the frightened Umji in the front seat.

"Hey..." Sowon leaned over, placing her hand on Umji's shoulder. "Are you okay?"

    Umji didn't respond verbally, her hand darting out and taking Sowon's with a shaky grip. Sowon placed a kiss against Umji's hand, letting go so she could turn the key in the ignition. The SUV roared to life and Sowon gripped the wheel with one hand, taking back Umji's hand with her free one. Umji practically cuddled against her hand, trying to ignore the sound of the dashboard GPS calculating the directions to the medical center. 

    The drive over was pretty much silent, aside from SinB and Yerin hissing anytime Yuju tried to offer them her hand. Eunha had taken the offer instead, holding onto Yuju's hand as if her life depended on it. Eunha and Umji were only partly in kitten mode, much to Sowon and Yuju's relief. But SinB and Yerin were a different story. She could understand SinB's actions but Yerin behaving this way was a big surprise. Most of the people in the area tended to schedule appointments later in the afternoon so hopefully there wouldn't be tons of people in the waiting room to witness the 'kitten tantrums' that were for sure going to happen. 

"SinB, Yerin, get out of the car." Sowon instructed with a firm voice, arms crossed as she watched the duo make no move to leave their seats. Yuju watched on from the parking lot, holding both Eunha and Umji's hands. Sowon grabbed SinB's arm and was met with yet another hiss. 

"I'm not taking you home no matter how long both of you sit in here." Sowon said, giving Yerin a frustrated look as well. "You have to do this. I don't care how long it takes."

     Both Yerin and SinB grumbled at the same time, almost harmonizing with each other. Sowon gave SinB's arm another tug and she finally obeyed, letting the taller girl pull her out of the car. SinB shoved her hands in her jean pockets, glaring down at the floor while another low growl formed in . Yerin was the next to be tugged out, Sowon holding her arm tight just in case she tried to run. The second the group entered the building, SinB shrunk back, frightened by the strange smell and sights of the waiting room. Yerin was reacting the same way, pulling at Sowon's arm to try and run out the door back to the parking lot. Sowon's grip was unwavering, leading Yerin with her to the front desk for check in. Yuju had guided SinB, Umji and Eunha down to the chairs lined up in the waiting area. 

"Hello." The nurse at the front desk smiled warmly. "Are you here for an appointment?"

"Yes we are." Sowon said, feeling Yerin struggle to get free again. "I have an appointment for my five girls under the name Kim Sojung."

The nurse typed her name into the computer, taking a few moments to make sure everything was inputted properly. 

    "Here you are. Thank you for filling out all the proper forms before coming in." The nurse clicked a few more things onscreen. Sowon took the moment to glance over at the waiting area, spotting Yuju attempting to distract all of them with some of the colorful children books that had been with the magazines nearby. Umji and Eunha seemed to be calm enough to enjoy it for the time being but SinB refused to look, glaring at the door that led into the patient rooms after seeing other people being called in for their own appointments by various doctors in white uniforms. 

"Alright, you're all set to go." The nurse finally said. "Each girl will go in one by one, okay? And you're more than welcome to accompany them." 

   "Thank you very much." Sowon bowed respectfully before turning to lead Yerin to the other girls. As she turned, she finally noticed Yerin's face. The anger had faded, replaced with pure fear showing clearly in brown eyes. She could only imagine how frightened Yerin was right now. It was an intimidating place, Sowon could remember a time where she had been scared to go when she had been little. Her dad had told her to 'toughen up', no sympathy in his voice. She wasn't about to be like that with the former kittens. No way. She wouldn't let herself become like him.

   "I'll be with you the entire time. I won't let you be in there alone." Sowon whispered, letting go of Yerin's arm to place her own arm around Yerin's waist. Yerin's hands gripped at her clothes, another small whine escaping as she was guided to join the rest of the girls. The brown haired girl was shaking like a leaf once she was seated, clinging to Sowon. Yuju was still reading the story out loud to Eunha, SinB and Umji, wanting to calm them down as they all waited for their turns. Sowon was proud of Yuju, amazed that the former gray kitten was barely fazed by her surroundings and situation. 

"Kim Sojung?"

Sowon's head lifted at the nurse's voice, spoting the assistant in the doorway leading to the medical examination rooms.

"Yes, thats me."

"We're ready for you and the first girl when you're ready." The nurse was kind, picking up on how scared Sowon's group was.

"Do you want to go first?" Sowon asked Yerin, running a hand through her hair. "It'll be over faster if you go first."

  Yerin was hesitant but nodded, letting Sowon help her to her feet. The pair left the rest of the girls to Yuju's care, following the nurse through the doorway into the hallway. Yerin was still scared but Sowon's presence was calming her down. The nurse went through the basic first procedures, checking Yerin's temperature, height, weight and blood pressure. Sowon talked her through it, making sure to tell her how proud of her she was after each one. The main thing Sowon was concerned about was yet to come, but it wouldn't happen until after the doctor did her examination. 

"Hello there." The doctor had said when she had entered the patient room. Yerin was scared but stayed in place on the examination table, holding Sowon's hand for comfort. "What's your name, sweetheart?"

"Y....Yerin...." Yerin stuttered out, eyeing the female doctor curiously as the doctor typed away at her computer. 

   "What a pretty name." The doctor complimented. There was another moment of silence, the doctor inputting Yerin's name and then listing the things she needed to check during the appointment. Everything see
