I want to express my appreciation for you taking the time to read this simple short story. I hope you enjoyed it. I had this random prompt in mind months ago and designed this idea to replicate the realities of TaengSic's lives and their relationship.

Here are some of the inspiration I would like to share:

It is undeniable that Taeyeon and Jessica were often seen as 'rivals' in Girls' Generation. Well, the reason being is that they were both considered as the main vocalists of the group. Hence, the story mainly surrounds the 'rivalry' as imposed by everyone around them. I described it as 'imposed' since Taengsic had always been known as the 'behind-the-scenes' couple. People see them ignoring each other, but in reality, they were not. They were actually really sweet towards one another.

Their own persona also inspired the little background on Taeyeon and Jessica's positions in the business industry. You may disagree with me on this one, but I always view Taeyeon as a prodigy when it comes to her singing talent. Her being 'born to sing' is replicated in the story as her being a prodigy in business. Jessica, on the other hand, is equally talented too. Yet, it is more prominent on her being a hard worker, always giving more than a hundred percent effort to succeed by herself, which is the same as her situation in this story of proving her worth as a new CEO. As you can also see, in the Taengsic relationship dynamic, they always acknowledge each other's strengths. Taeyeon always has these little proud smirks every time she listens to Jessica singing, while Jessica has always declared to everyone the fact that Taeyeon is the best singer of SNSD.

Personality-wise, obviously, the dynamic of TaengSic being introvert and extrovert combination was also considered here. Yet, despite that, you can see how they have the same viewpoint on everything. How could I say that? Every Tae
