the ballads of us
Description
In which we see two people go through the consequences of love in sixteen different lifetimes.
Foreword
folklore: a body of popular myth and beliefs relating to a particular place, activity, or group of people.
Folklores are stories that are passed down through word of mouth, like a tradition or a story you read before you go to bed. We encounter these stories to learn lessons and feel the situation, not knowing where to put ourselves in. Each folklore we have heard spun tales of magic and realism, of the consequences of actions, and the triumphs and failures of our heroes.
In sixteen different lifetimes, the invisible string that ties these two people together will manifest in lessons of love, heartbreak, growth, and comfort.

A/N:
This body of work might be the heaviest piece I'll ever write. Keep in mind that each chapter is a standalone, which means they are not related to one another. I'll try to update as much as I can. This is filled with 90% angst and 10% chance of happy endings in each chapter.
If you like those odds, sign up, but if you like something fluffier, here's a link to the flipside.
