stray kids' han jisung & itzy's shin ryujin
c a r e l e s s
When Han Jisung comes home from his part-time job as a DJ at a small event, the clock says it's ten past 3AM, and what greets him is the sight of Shin Ryujin - the newest tenant of their shared house, apparently a student at Hyundai University though her major is lost to Jisung - sprawled rather ungracefully on the couch in the living room.
He furrows his eyebrows seeing the girl's pose: she's sleeping with her legs spread, one is up on the backrest while the other's dangling from the side, with an arm above her head, another on top of her stomach. His frown grows deeper as he realizes the TV's on, airing a re-run of a soccer match, and there are left over of chinese take outs on the table.
Still with a frown Jisung picks up the remote and turns off the TV before he cleans up the table, throwing the garbage and putting the dirty dishes away. He doesn't wash them because even though Jisung likes things to be tidy, he's too tired for that. At least the living room is presentable again.
The last thing that out of place is the girl itself, which Jisung stares at with unconcealed distaste. She should know to respect her housemates better... - at the time, Ryujin scratches her stomach, pulling her tee up just enough to reveal a glimpse of skin, which, Jisung really doesn't mean to look, but he does anyway.
Jisung rubs his face, grumbling under his breath as he turns around and climbs up the stairs to his room.
A minute later, he stomps down carrying a blanket.
He grabs Ryujin's legs and put them down on the couch before he spreads the blanket on top of the girl. In the middle of it, the girl stirs awake. "... Who?" she mumbles, eyes barely open trying to recognize Jisung. Surprisingly, she doesn't react to the fact that there's someone hovering on top of her, putting a blanket on her.
"Han Jisung, room 7," he answers, continues trying to tuck the blanket under Ryujin so she won't toss around and expose herself again, unpertubed by the fact that the object is already awake. He hasn't interact much with her in the few months she's here, but he just knows that she's a heavy sleeper, and she probably won't remember this interaction in the morning.
"Oh, the singer," Ryujin mumbles, her lips forming a lazy smile. "... Welcome home... You work hard..."
Jisung stops moving at her words, but the girl already closes her eyes again, this time curling up to the side. Jisung shakes his head to drives away whatever thoughts wonder there and finishes what he's doing.
