Pero hindi pala lahat ng istorya ay perpekto. Hindi dahil alam mo ang lahat ay hindi na ito mababago. Na ang lahat ay may mas malalim pang dahilan. Na ang inakala mong tunay ay wala nang itinatago.
So with a heavy heart and shaky hands, Wonyoung started to read her Mom's journal to find out the truth.

We are always one step, one decision from a totally different life.
Her relationship with Hyewon is pretty much going stable, atleast that's what Eunbi thinks. Kahit na sobrang busy niya sa trabaho dahil sakanya nakaatas ang malaking project at madalas ay nawawalan na siya ng oras kay Hyewon, naiintindihan naman siya ng kanyang fiancé. (yes, they're already engaged. Hyewon proposed to her right after they graduated college.)
Hyewon always adjust to her schedules. Hyewon always made time for her.
They were onto their seventh year anniversary and they opted to (more like Eunbi suggested since she have a work) celebrate it on her condo over a simple dinner. Though Hyewon really wants to take Eunbi on a fancy date or an out of town vacation but yeah, work.
And today is the day, she was excited to meet Hyewon tonight bukod sa anniversary nila ay sa tingin niya dapat na nilang mapag-usapan ang mga preparations para sa kasal nilang dalawa.

Eunbi glanced at the clock in the conference room, it was nine thirty in the evening and here she was still stuck in the meeting. They had a bit problem with the project they're working on that's why she's still in the office.
She was getting anxious, her legs is shaking and she's tapping her fingers on the table. She left her phone on her table and she's sure Hyewon is bombarding her with message and calls.
Ang usapan kasi nila ay alas otso imedya sila magsecelebrate sa condo ni Eunbi. Doon siya hihintayin ni Hyewon.
'hindi ipapaliwanag ko na lang kay Hyewon, sigurado akong maiintindihan niya' ang nasa isip ni Eunbi.
Kampante siyang maiintindihan ni Hyewon kung bakit siya na-late. Kampante si Eunbi na masaya siyang sasalubungin ni Hyewon kagaya ng palagi nitong ginagawa pag magkikita sila. Kaya hindi siya nag-aalala na magagalit ang fiancè, magtatampo oo, pero kilala niya si Hyewon.
(but little did Eunbi know, that was the last straw for Hyewon)

Alas onse pasado na nang makarating si Eunbi sa parking lot basement ng condo building niya. Habang nasa byahe ay sinubukan niyang tawagan si Hyewon pero hindi ito sumasagot.
Eunbi knew she was in deep trouble lalo na at nakita niya si Hyewon naglalakad papunta sa sarili nitong kotse.
Dali-daling lumabas si Eunbi sa kotse niya at patakbong lumapit kay Hyewon. Naabutan niya ito nang akmang bubuksan na nito ang pintuan.
"Mahal, I'm sorry..." pag-umpisa ni Eunbi, "nagkaproblema lang sa project kaya ako natagalan" she explained but Hyewon won't look at her.
"Hyewon, mahal, tingin ka sakin please? Babawi ako, pangako." she held her wrist and tried to catch Hyewon's gaze, "Look, we still have time. Let's go upstairs"
To say Eunbi isn't scared is a lie. Alam niya wala siya dapat ikatakot pero hindi niya maiwasan makaramdam nito lalo na't tikom pa rin ang bibig ni Hyewon at nag-iiwas ito ng tingin.
"Hye?"
Hyewon took a deep breath before speaking, "Let go" she said, there's a hardness on her voice. Habang pagkalito, pangamba at takot ang bumabalot sa mukha ni Eunbi.
"Let go" pag-uulit ni Hyewon, "Eunbi please" finally she looked at Eunbi, her eyes were bloodshot color, "Magpahinga na muna tayo"
Walang emosyon na mababakas sa boses ni Hyewon pero napansin ni Eunbi ang sakit at lungkot sa mga mata nito.
She never saw that look in Hyewon's eyes. Hyewon never gave her that kind of look but seeing it now hurts Eunbi as she was the reason behind it.
Pitong taon. Sa loob ng pitong taon ay hindi niya akalain na aabot sila sa ganitong punto.
"Magpahinga na muna tayo, Eunbi. Bago pa tayo umabot sa desisyon na pagsisisihan natin sa huli"
Eunbi felt a lump on , she was shaking and panicking, she knew she had to say something.
"I'm sorry, Hyewon, please don't do this. I'll do better, I promise."
Hyewon bit her lower lip and clenched her fist. She was on the verge of just pulling Eunbi into a hug, to tell her how much she loves her, and say sorry for saying things like that. But she had to stop herself, because if not, they're gonna end up going in circles again and again.
"If you want, I'll drop the project. I'll even quit my job, just don't do this Hyewon" Eunbi cried
"No, don't. That will make me feel even worse" Hyewon said, shaking her head.
"Mahal…."
"I know you're busy, I understand that part. I don't even mind adjusting my schedules for you. Pero Eunbi naman, etong araw lang na 'to ang hinihiling ko sa'yo. Kahit makihati at mamalimos na ulit ako ng oras at atensyon mo sa mga susunod na araw ayos lang basta yung araw na 'to ibigay mo na sa'kin, sa atin"
The anguish in Hyewon's voice broke her heart. She was hurting Hyewon. Oh god, she was hurting the only woman she ever loved.
She didn't know what to say. Dapat napansin niya na may problema na pala. Dapat mas naging observant siya para di sila humantong sa ganito. Dapat di siya nag-assume na okay lang ang lahat.
Masyado siyang naging busy sa pagbuild ng career niya at hindi niya napansin na Hyewon's slipping away from her hands.
On the other hand, Hyewon is getting mad at herself for bursting out like that.
Selfish ba siya na maituturing if she wants more? She wants more of Eunbi, more of her love, more of her affection especially more of her time. Don't get her wrong, Eunbi is giving it to her but…..she felt like it wasn't enough.
Baka nga. Siguro nga na nasa kanya ang problema at wala kay Eunbi. Baka nga di lang siya marunong makuntento sa kung anong kayang ibigay sa ngayon ni Eu
