"Still, are you superwoman?"

 

"Neh," She spoke as he chuckled, helping her put the remainder of the boxes into her closet as well. He watched as she raised both of her arms to place onto her hips and stared out the window. Although he wasn't a mind reader, he could see what she was thinking about and it brought a smile to his face. "It's weird huh? This feeling of finally making it?"

 

She remained still until she allowed a smile to escape her lips, a small head nod following right after. "We finally made it huh"

 

"Yes you did and you guys are going to do great. Besides, why wouldn't you with Infinite being your sunbae and mentor?"

 

"Aigoo, don't flatter yourself Mr. Woo Hyun." She laughed as he joined her. She thanked him for his help and he shrugged, "What kind of an oppa would I be if I watched you hurt yourself?" He asked as she nodded. 

 

Sure the girls weren't blood related to them but the boys of Infinite took care of them as if they were. It was weird in a way, to seek advice when majority of the boys were the same age as them and there were times when it became difficult to respect them but the girls knew they were one of the reasons they were able to debut. If it hadn't been for them staying late nights with the girls, they probably wouldn't be as confident and in sync as they were. Besides, everyone knew how in sync Infinite was and thanks to them, the girls were the same way.

 

Eun Mi sighed as she stared about her room. Her room was about the same size as the other girls with the only difference being the sliding wall divider that conjoined her room to Mi Na's room. She had played with it earlier, sliding it back and forth and was impressed to see that their CEO had come up with such a brilliant idea. Not that he was stupid in the first place. The wall was made out of what seemed to be wood and painted a clean white color. She walked over to it and opened it slightly to see Mi Na gone from her room and smiled as she noted that Mi Na had a good idea of what she wanted her room to look like already. Making sure the latch was unlocked, she was surprised to hit something behind her and turned quickly to find Sung Gyu raising his eyebrow.

 

"What are you doing?" He questioned as she shook her head. "Nothing. Just wondering if Mi Na was in the room." She answered as he made an 'o' with his lips. "Let's go, the kids are bugging me to feed them lunch." The two turned around as Sung Jong ran in, Mi Na following right after him. Eun Mi and Sung gyu shook their heads lightly as they viewed upon the sight. "You wanna die?" Mi Na screamed as Sung Jong shrugged, "Try me!" he smiled.

 

Eun Mi let out a small smile as Sung gyu took him by neck and trapped him. "Take that," Mi Na smiled as she softly hit his shoulder. Not happy that his leader had assisted Mi Na, Sung Jong whined softly

 

"aigoo, let's go Sung Jong. Nuna will buy you something when we debut successfully." she bribed.

 

With both respective groups in the living room, they hurriedly ordered lunch and the boys were set to go. The girls on the other hand, had other work to do and as they made their way to the shopping mart, Eun Mi and So Yeon smiled as they pointed at the girls.

 

"No shopping for fun alright?" Eun Mi warned as the three younger girls nodded. "And no spending more money than we planned to used." So Yeon added.

 

Nana smiled as she sighed, grabbing Hyun Ok and Mi N'a hand. "Neh Appa and Omma, we'll call you guys when we're done with our part." Mi Na smiled cheessily which caused Eun Mi and So Yeon to laugh. 

 

"Don't wander off," Eun Mi mumbled to late as she watched the three younger girls tredge toward their sections. "Let's go," So Yeon smiled enthusiastically as she dragged Eun Mi toward the home section.

 

Before arriving to the department store, they had all planned what they were going to buy in order to arrive at the practice room on time. Eun Mi and So Yeon was in charge of the bathroom and kitchen utensils while Hyun Ok, Nana, and Mi Na were going to buy food and snacks to fill the empty kitchen. "Unnie, Chips!"  Mi Na smiled happily as she grabbed her favorite type. She wandered around the aisles and grabbed the nearest supplies while Hyun Ok and Nana made their way toward the drinks. "Banana milk or strawberry milk?" Hyun Ok questioned as she cocked any eyebrow toward Nana.

 

"Regular," She replied which earned a smile from Hyun Ok.

 

"Good choice."

 

The girls quickly headed back to the dorm and situated their items before heading toward the practice room. 

 

"Yah, let's do it one more time." Sung gyu suggested as each member of the two groups groaned in dissatisfaction. Even though they were already dead tired, they each got up nonetheless and participated fully. "Mi Na, don't forget that 3rd beat okay?" He spoke softly as she nodded. Each member took position before the beats came in and paired with their partners. Eun Mi paired up with Sung gyu, So Yeon with Woo Hyun, Nana with Sung Yeol, Hyun Ok with Myungsoo, and maknae with maknae. They thought they were going to get a break considering their debut was nearing but their manager had only told them yesterday morning that they were going to be performing with Infinite at the SBS gayo daejun.

 

It would have been less frustrating had they been told at least two weeks before but the bomb was dropped just yesterday and it was pressuring. The boys had to prepare for the other end of the year awards too and the girls couldn't help but feel like a burden because it was only for their benefit. Adding Heartquake would mean making a new remix and with that also included a new dance routine and that required time. Time wasn't what they had. The boys were scheduled to perform at the KBS Gayo daejun later that evening and the SBS gayo daejun was tomorrow night. Considering the amount of rest that the boys needed, they weren't sure if there was going to be another practice after tonight so they needed to get the piece down and just perform it.

 

"Fighting," Hoya cheered along with Dong woo as they sat on the sidelines watching comfortably. The dance was an intro to their small collab and although it was only about a minute long, everyone found it tiring to do. "Let's get it perfect," Woo Hyun encouraged as everyone gave a small nod. Dong Woo pressed the play button and the practice room filled with the beat. The girls stood in place as the boys came in a second later and danced with them. Hoya and Dong woo bobbed their heads to the beat and watched intensely to make sure they were able to get any mistakes. Everyone was tired and it was currently 1 in the morning. 

 

They had been in the rehearsal room since 9 and although the piece didn't take that long to learn, they spent the first 2 and a half hours watching their sunbae and the last 2 hours was spent on their collaboration. Although they had only arrived at 9, the boys had been in the practice room ever since they left the dorm and was working hard. Sung gyu walked around and took note of each members position before taking his own beside Eun Mi. Hyun Ok took center stage with Myung Soo with So Yeon and Woo Hyun to her left and the maknaes to their right. Behind them was Eun Mi and Sung gyu along with Nana and Sung Yeol beside them. 

 

Heartquake's debut was scheduled for next weekend and the company believed it would be good marketing to showcase them off in front of not only live audiences but as well as their sunbaes. Everyone would be watching them and if they were able to prove themselves capable, they would stand a chance in surviving this jungle of debut. 

 

The dance portion came to a stop and all ten members hurried to the walls and watched as Hoya and Dong Woo took over with their subunit introduction. As Hoya and Dong Woo finished their section, everyone clapped at the successful ending. 

 

"Great work everyone," Sung gyu praised the members as the girls all nodded. The room smelled of sweat and the girls were in a hurry to get back to the dorm and shower. 

 

"Good luck oppas," Hyun Ok screamed as the boys screamed. "Good luck tomorrow oppa, make us proud." Nana smiled as Woo Hyun patted her shoulder. 

 

Mi Na pouted as she tied her messy hair again, a soft thud hitting the back of her head. "Oh," She gasped as Myungsoo smiled at her. "Are you worried?" He asked as he sat on bench before her. She hesitated before nodding, a sigh escaping her lips. "Did I look like a mess dancing?" she asked as he shook his head. "Ani, we're all tired. Go back to the dorm and sleep. Maybe you'll feel better tomorrow. You did good though." 

 

Her heart thumped wildly as he stood up and reached his hand out to her, brushing aside a piece of her bang that managed to escape. "If I have time tomorrow, I'll help you practice." He promised as she blushed deeply. "A-Ah. Neh," She whispered as he tousled her hair. She didn't even mind that he had ruined her hair. All she knew was that he made her heart flutter but then again, he was very good looking.

 

"Don't worry too much." Sung gyu advised as Eun Mi nodded. "Have fun tomorrow," She smiled.

 

 

Present

 

Hearing her cellphone vibrate, she dug into her pockets to fish out her cell. The name on the screen brought a smile to her lips and as she read the text, she could feel her nerves calming down. He always knew what to say to calm her down and even though he knew their performance today was only a minute long, he knew the importance of it and the event as well. It was the gayo daejun and everyone always had something to say about it. Including which companies had the best dancers and he was certain the girls would blow the stage even though they were being considered 'back up dancers'.

 

'Hwaiting Mi Na. Don't forget oppa's supporting you~ Show everyone what you're made of! Mi Na Jjang <3 I'll be watching...'

 

She read the text again and closed her eyes, breathing in deeply before handing her cell to their manager. "I can do it," She whispered softly as she wiped her palms on her shorts and stretched a bit. 

 

"What has you smiling so brightly?"

 

Her head lifted to see Myung Soo smiling at her and their encounter yesterday made her blush. "a-ah..." She stuttered as she played with her ponytail. "Nothing much, it was just something my oppa wrote to me."

 

He chuckled as he patted her head, "You'll be fine."

 

"Neh," She whispered as he walked toward the other side of the room. She silently cursed as she patted her cheeks, embarrassed for being caught blushing. "What is wrong with you?" She whispered as she sighed. Remembering how he caught her before her fall yesterday made her still though. The way that his lips were so close to hers...

 

"Aniya, I can't think like that. He's an oppa, just an oppa. Nothing more," She whispered more surely. She looked around the room and raised an eyebrow as she realized one of the members was missing. "Unnies, where did Nana unnie go?" 

 

Eun Mi looked around before turning So Yeon, who shrugged in return. Leaving what she was doing behind, Eun Mi headed toward the halls and as she turned the corridor, she heard Nana's voice. "Ya--"

 

"Neh Omma," Nana smiled to herself and Eun Mi let out a smile before dropping her words and turning to head back to the dress room. Everyone knew of Nana's background and although she didn't reveal it immediately, she eventually told the girls and they knew how much her mother meant to her.

 

"Don't stress too much about this Na Hyun-ah. You're a beautiful girl and whatever anyone says, know that you are." Her mother cooed to her and it only made her smile widen. Staring at the wristwatch she was wearing, Nana allowed a small pout to escape her lips. If anyone ever saw that pout, she knew they would make fun of her because she wasn't known to do those childish things but she couldn't hold it back when she was with her mother.

 

"I'll call you later omma, I have to go," She said sadly as her mother let out laugh on the other end of the line. "Do your best and don't beat yourself up over something small. Neh?"

 

"Neh"

 

As Nana made her way back to the room, she noticed it more chaotic that the time was nearing. "Let's get going," Their manager told them as they each nodded. The boys weren't able to cheer with them due to the fact that they were performing first so Eun Mi knew she had to cheer the group on.

 

"Let's show everyone what we're made of." Eun Mi smiled as she placed her hands in the middle. The girls each smiled before doing the same, each of them screaming "heartquake hwaiting"

 

Heading backstage only heightened their senses as they heard the fans more clearly and more louder. They looked behind the curtain and gasped as they saw how many people were exactly there and it didn't help to see their sunbaes sitting there too. They couldn't back down now though and so they waited. Rushing to put their masquarade masks on to hide their identity, they waited for their que and as it came, they made their way onto the stage confidently. Matching their steps to the Infinite boys, the crowd screamed at the skinship and the girls swore they could hear some crying too due to the boys being touched by the girls. 

 

Adrendaline kicked in and the girls did amazing. They confidently danced their part though and as they finished, they headed toward the back with the boys. "Good job girls," Sung gyu praised quietly as they moved behind the curtain. "Wah, so y," Sung Jong joked as the girls couldn't help but smile. They removed their masks and breathed in deeply to catch their breaths and watched in amazement as Hoya and Dongwoo rapped perfectly.

 

Just like that, their performance was finished and the girls couldn't help but wish they could do it again. "Don't worry, you'll have more chances," Myung Soo smiled as Sung gyu nodded. "Let's head back."

 

Now that they had successfully completed performing in front of the public, it was time to meet the sunbaes personally and what better way then the after party.

Did i disappoint you guys? I apologize but I did more changing then I intended too... This new update though is much better then the old ones and if you haven't realized, two chapters were combined to make this... Aigoo...it seemed so rushed though. Did i rush it too much?!
