maybe it’s not our fault
Description
Seungwan's mother got married to Joohyun's father and the two girls became unwilling stepsisters. Cliche it is, but they will become so much more.
Foreword
Seungwan screams perfection and Joohyun hates every bit of her.
Joohyun watches the younger girl clad in a light blue cocktail dress that pairs perfectly with her heels, her above the shoulder shaggy layered hair falls effortlessly beautiful. She was in awe as she witness the girl sings a beautiful rendition of A Thousand Years.
Seungwan amazes her as much as she annoys her. Joohyun wonders if there are things the younger girl can’t do and hopes there are.
She stops looking at the younger girl in fear of being drawn and glances around.
Everyone is dressed nicely, on their feet, and has a genuine smile on their faces, watching a lovely woman in an elegant long white dress walks down the aisle while all of them are drawn to Seungwan’s divine singing.
Joohyun can’t even fake a smile at the sight.
She feels a pang in her chest as she turns towards the front where her father stands—at the altar, waiting to hold the hand of Seungwan’s mother for a lifetime.
