" I was just looking at those paintings.." She explained softly , careful in a way she wouldn't provoke him more. She cursed her childish self for being over excited and behaving so carelessly.
" You can look at them with my hands in yours. You don't realise how scary the gaps between my fingers are. They make me feel void too. They make me lose my essence every time I look at them. Don't ever leave them. " He whispered with vulnerability and her heart clenched painfully at the sight of him , so powerless.
" I won't. I promise." She assured him and embraced him tightly as if trying to urge his broken pieces to stick together again.
