5pm. April 23, 2028. 

I received a text message from Chaeyoung saying that she’s already in the restaurant. 

Yaahhh Minaring.. you didn’t forget that today’s my birthday didn’t you? ?

She just turned 28 today but I guess she will always be a baby for me. 

I purposely didn’t greet her because our friends will give her a birthday surprise later this evening. And look at this baby, she’s already whining.

Please check your item ma’am before we wrap it for you.. I heard the seller said while I’m composing my reply to Chaeyoung.

I look at the diamond ring in-front of me, smiling and almost in tears.

Simple but elegant, just like how Chaeyoung would want it. I’m sure she’d say Yes.

It’s lovely. Please wrap it nicely. Thank you very much. I gave a smile to the seller and made a call.
