Joo Chung Ae is the normal student you see at school. Not a Queenka, especially not one of the nerds; not that she’s not capable of being one of them. She almost got the looks if she’s just taking care of her figure…yeah she’s fat and not the type to put on the make-up. She got the brain and it would be possible for her to top the class, or even the whole school if she’s just not the “I’m-going-to-stick-with-my-friend” type of girl. Her friend denotes her as a men-hater ‘coz she’s mean to them though deep inside she doesn’t want to be. A year and a half after her reported death, a new girl shows up which confused the heart, or maybe eyes of everyone.

 Joo Chung Ae (You) - The smart, talented and men-hater. She may not have the best look and has a bit of attitude but she'll be well loved by those who truly knows how to open their hearts.

Go Jaekyung - Chung Ae's BFF and a complete beauty. May not be as brainy and talented as Chung Ae, she's a Queenka type with her y yet cute looks.

Kim Myungsoo/L - Everyone in school knows this handsome, smart and bad- guy. Was still a trainee during part 1 of the story but already a part of the idol group Infinite during the second part of the story. He's known as the face of his group and is the bestfriend of Lee Byunghun a.k.a. L.joe.

Lee Byunghun/ L.joe - L's bestfriend and like him, he's one of the good looking bad- of the school. He's also a trainee during part 1 but evolved to the rapper of the group Teen Top during part 2.

Park Hyun Cheol/ Karam - Bestfriends with both L.joe and L however since he debuted earlier than the two, he only gets to show up on the last chapters of Part 1 but he plays as one of the major roles in the story's part 2.  Part of the group Dae Guk Nam Ah and is promoting in Japan at the time.
