The group sat silently all pissed at Hoseok. Meanwhile Hoseok looked down.
Namjoon sighed massaging his head with his hands. “Well you ruined it. You ing runined a perfect and golden chance.” he snapped
Hoseok exhaled. “Look, it wasn’t appropriate for me to ask her about it. It would’ve been suspicious” He tried reasoning.
The rest of the team looked at him in disbelief. “It doesn’t matter. We don’t care for feelings, we care for information!” Irene hissed
Hoseok shook his head. “Dude. Big mistake, literally big mistake.” Jimin rebuked
They stayed quiet. “You know if Yoongi was still here we wouldn’t be having this conversation.” Namjoon concluded
The group gasped at his statement. “Namjoon do we need to go that far?” Jisoo said, scared of what might happen.
Yeri stood up from her seat. “He’s not wrong.” She said as the rest silently agreed with her except for Hayi
Hoseok looked at them with red eyes. “You know better than anyone else in this room how much I regret what happened to Yoongi.” he whispered dangerously
Namjoon looked away. Hoseok pushed him and left the room. They sighed.
Hayi rubbed her eyes. “What the hell? No actually what the ?” She snapped
“You guys know how much he had to deal with after Yoongi died. Did you guys really need to bring it up?! On top of that, you really think he could ask Wendy who, what, where, when, why when she’s crying about her parents. She’s The Roulette’s leader, she would’ve caught on. You guys are getting ahead of yourselves just because we’ve been assigned a higher case. Get a hold and start acting like a team. I’m disappointed” Hayi scolded and left to go find Hoseok.
She walked through the halls and went to Hoseok’s cabin to find him on the ground having a panic attack. “Hoseok? Hey. Everything is okay. You’re going to be okay.” She tries to say
Hoseok holds his face crying harder. “No! He’s gone because of me. I let it happen.” He goes beserk
Hayi stands up away from him and fishes out her walkie-talkie. “I need backup in the Leads room. ASAP.” She says into the walkie-talkie
A few moments later the cbi team came to the room witnessing the breakdown. Yeri gasped. “We have to call the ambulance.” She said
They waited until he could get it all out of his system. Finally, Hoseok calmed down and sat against the wall panting. “I did it. I let him get killed. I killed him.” he said
They all went and sat beside him leaning on each other’s shoulders. “No it was all of us.”
Flashback:
The CBI’s first operation to directly take down “The Enforcer”. Min Yoongi, the team’s leader, led them through the operation. “Okay, Hoseok, Namjoon and, Irene, you guys are in charge of taking down the henchmen. Sungjae, Yeri and Hayi, you guys are in charge of finding the drugs. Jisoo did you hack into the firewall?” he instructed
“Yep. I got it down, you can get in.” She said
They all sneaked in going to do what they were assigned to do. They all finished their jobs and headed out the door before they got found out.
“You think you can easily get away. You ing think.” The enforcer had found out.
Each of them tackled their own henchmen before trying to get the boss himself. They kicked him to the ground and turned away assuming he was dead.
“Wait, my id fell somewhere.” Hoseok said stopping the group and went back to the area.
Hoseok got his id but didn’t notice that the boss was still alive. Yoongi who realized Hoseok's Life was in danger yelled at him. “HOSEOK! WATCH OUT!” Yoongi then pushed him out of the way .
Right then the group had witnessed their leader being shot multiple times. The group was in shock. Yeri held her gun and shot the mob boss down.
On the third day after Yoongi’s attack, he was pronounced dead. The group continued to work hard to pursue his dream but Hoseok could never forget his sacrifice.
Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
