Moonlight Melody
Seugnwan woke up and stretched her body. The deal was done and as a celebration the Roulette members wanted to stay in China to celebrate courtesy of Mark. But hey she wasn't complaining, this meant more days with Busan and Tiffany.
She heard her aunt talking to someone very excitedly down at the cafè, curious she freshened up and wore her shorts and a black tank top. “Tiff why are you talking so loud? The whole city of Busan can hear your voice.” She said rubbing her eyes
Tiffany stared at Seungwan with shock. “Choi Seungwan! I understand this is your boyfriend and all but do you have to wear such revealing clothes in front of him?” She scolded
Seungwan raised her brows. Boyfriend. Seungwan peeks behind Tiffany to see an awkward looking Hoseok scratching his head.
“Man she’s actually so hot.” Yeri commented
The team laughed. “Chill youngest, she’s Hoseok’s girl and one of the most deadly Mafia leaders in Seoul.” Jimin countered.
Yeri scoffed. “It doesn’t change the fact that she’s hotter and has better abs than you no jams.” She said
Seungwan ran upstairs to change. Apparently her loving aunt wanted to get to know her ‘boyfriend’ more so she invited him over for brunch. Yay for her. Seungwan changed into jeans and threw a cardigan over her tank top and headed downstairs.
Since it was a small table Seungwan was forced to sit beside Hoseok who just sat quietly. “So how did you 2 meet.” Tiffany asked while sipping her coffee
“School”
“Club”
Realizing they said two different things they both looked down shaking their heads. Tiffany, who heard their answers looked at them confused. “In a club or at school?” she questioned
Seungwan forced a smile on her face. “Babe, we met at school remember? You’re so clueless honey.” She said rubbing his arm
Hoseok spit his drink and looked at her with shock. “Ha ha yeah. My bad.” He said with a nervous laugh.
“Ouhh babeee.” Sungjae along with rest of the team teased
Tiffany cooed at the sight of the two. “You know your parents also fell in love in college. They were the college ‘it’ couple.” She says
Hoseok looks up from his food. “That’s sweet. Where are your parents?” he says without thinking
“Bro wrong move. You know this.” Irene says
The table falls silent as Hoseok realizes he already knows this information but acts like he doesn’t. Seungwan clears . “They died 5 years ago in an accident. I think I’m done” She says while standing up and excusing herself
Tiffany stood up and apologized. “I’m just going to go check on her.” She says before Hoseok stopped her.
“No no. I should be the one apologizing. Actually Seungwan told me, but it slipped my mind. I’ll go comfort her.” He says standing up.
Hoseok walks up to her room and knocks on the door. “Yes?” The beauty on the other side answers
“Uh Seungwan? It’s Hoseok. Can I come in?” he asks
The door’s lock clicks indicating that he could come in. He walked in to see Seungwan laying her side on the bed away from me. “Hey.” He says softly
Seungwan turned around and sat up. “I’m sorry. My parents were my best friends and I haven’t talked about it.” She explains
Hoseok gives her a courtesy smile before getting comfy beside a confused Wendy who smiled at his antics. “Tell me about your parents.” He prompts her
Seungwan raises an eyebrow. “What are you doing?” She asks
Hoseok shrugs. “Trying to know about your parents. Telll meee.” He whines
Seungwan laughs and shakes her head. She takes out her phone opening up a picture of two young adults who are obviously in love.
A small smile appears on both of their faces. “Now that you’ve shown me a picture, tell me about your parents?” He asks
She smiles again. "As my aunt said, my parents met in college. Love at first sight as my mother would say. They were young and carefree and got married at young against their parent’s wishes.” She said
Hoseok leaned his head on her shoulder and unconsciously Seungwan did the same. “They were magic Hoseok. Their eyes would twinkle every time they talked about each other. Their love for my brother and I was endless.” She continued
Then out of nowhere she sighed. “But as with every relationship, they had their ups and downs. September of 1997. The arrival of my brother. My father had cheated on my mother and had a son. Unfortunately Jungkook’s mother had died at childbirth but my mother had taken him in and made sure she was the best mother to both of us. Eventually they got over it and my mother trusted him again.” She explained
Hoseok looked at her with admiration as Seungwan continued. “But then five years ago our lives changed forever. They had left us and me to take care of something I could never fill in.” She says tearing up
“This is it, Hoseok get the info and we can snag her.” Namjoon says through his earpiece.
Hoseok doesn’t know what to do. His heart tells him to do something but his head and profession tell him to do something else
“Come on Hoseok! Ask her!” His team keeps telling him
As a reflex Hoseok wraps his arms around a crying Seungwan, completely disregarding and pissing off s. “It’s okay. If god takes away something he’ll give you something else in life.” He says comforting her
After 5 long and hard years Seungwan finally finds peace in someone's arms. Maybe he was something that her parents sent from heaven.
Tiffany stood at the door looking at the young couple. She closed the door and wiped her tears. It was as if she had seen her sister and her brother-in law once again. “She’s going to be fine Taeyeon. She has someone now.” She says as if communicating with her sister who wasn’t there.
Betrayal is the only truth that sticks.
