Foreword
“Chorong unnie! I guess Bomi already told you about us doing a Secret Santa thing?” Namjoo asked and that reminds me of what I still have to do.
“Yes, we did talk about it last night.” I guess everyone’s really excited about this. Is Secret Santa gonna be our Christmas tradition now? “Oh! Bbom-ah! I think I left something in the car earlier.” I did left something purposely for this.
“Do you need me to get it for you?” Bomi asked and I responded with a soft hum and a nod. I tried to deliver it the cutest I could as I need Bomi out of the place for a while.
As soon as Bomi left the living room, I gathered the attention of our friends.
“Damn. I knew Chorong unnie is not that careless to leave something in the car.” Hayoung said as she notice that I’m planning something. If only they knew how big this is.
“What is it you need, unnie?” Naeun asked, I’m actually glad she did.
“Who got Bomi’s name? I need to switch.” I told them and they just laughed at me. But no one’s laughing until I secure the position to be Bomi’s Secret Santa.
“I. Need. Bomi’s. Name. Exchange with me.” I told them with authority in my voice. It is at situations like this that I’m glad I’m the oldest among us.
“Here.” Eunji finally handled me that folded white paper with Bomi’s name written on it.
And I on the other hand whispered to her who I got for her to know who’s her new pick (I guess it really is her fate), “Son. Na. Eun.” Eunji’s expression is priceless. This is gonna be a very fun Christmas, I can tell.
