Dead silence. The girl steps out of the building. The dim street lamps cascaded on her slim figure, illuminating her diaphanous dress. Slowly, the girl inhales as she began to walk into the night. Her heart pounded in trepidation even as she neared her house.
A rustle was heard. The girl paused, never daring to look back even as she drew in a shaky breath. A sudden vibration had her blood coursing. Her phone rang, making her jump. Fumbling, she hastily picked up the phone with her ice-cold hands.
Guy: I follow in your shadow as I make a phone call. I become thrilled at the sound of your trembling breath. My heart runs after your increasingly quick steps. I think I’ll go crazy.
“Hello…” Silence greeted the girl. “Hello?”
