Ch. 56
SinnersI wasn't expecting to see Seokjin almost immediately when Jimin an I walked through the front door, laughing about the movie we had just watched. I jolted as I stared over at him sitting on the bench beside the door. "Oh my god. You scared me to death." I put a hand over my chest, my heart pounding in my chest.
"Oh.. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I just didn't know where to go." Seokjin said.
I took off my shoes. "What do you mean you didn't know where to go?" Jimin asking him before I could get to it, stepping out of his shoes as well.
"Uh. Well. I'm going to be working along side of you all." He answered.
I stared at him. My eyes narrowing, I appreciated the apology earlier but I wasn't ready to have him around all the time. "Is Taehyung here?" I asked.
"Yeah. He said he didn't have to leave for a little while." He gestured upstairs towards Taehyungs office.
I gave a short nod and headed up the steps, I heard Jimin ask if he was hungry or thirsty and lead him to the kitchen. When I was in front of Taehyungs office door I knocked on it, my fingers gripping the door knob and tapping my foot as I waited for him to call me in. "What is it?" He said finally. "Why is he working for you?" I demanded rather than asked.
Taehyung dropped his pen onto the stack of papers on the desk in front of him, pushed himself back from the desk, loosening up his the. "Actually. He doesn't work for me." He interlocked his fingers, using both index fingers to point at me. "He is going to work for you."
My brows knitted together. "For me? Why? I don't need someone to work for me." I replied.
"I'm not going to argue with you Nari. You need someone with you at all times. Jungkook works for me as my bodyguard. Seokjin is going to be yours."
I shook my head. "No.. No. Not gonna happen. I don't need a bodyguard."
Taehyung stood up and made his way over to me. "Yes you do. Things are getting bad Nari, and they will only be getting worse." He looked into my eyes. "If something were to happen to you. I would probably end up killing everyone in sight." He tucked my hair behind my ear, his thumb caressing my cheek gently before his lips pressed against my forehead. "I just sant you safe."
I closed my eyes, the smell of his cologne filling my senses, melting all the aggravation I felt away. His voice was so calming. "Fine." I found myself saying.
"I have to leave soon. But I'll be home later. Make sure you eat something. Please, at least try to get along with the guy. Hes not that bad." Taehyung said, rubbing his hand up and down my back lovingly.
"Alright. Fine. But you owe me." I replied, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Be careful and try not to stay out too late." I backed away from him and walked towards the door so I could go downstairs and meet up with Jimin in t
