Part 3

Making a Deal With the Devil (RW)

“Jimin!”

Jimin was rudely awakened the following morning by Taehyung violently shaking him awake. The demon’s voice was full of panic, sharper than normal.

He slowly opened his eyes, whining something, incoherent to both Taehyung and himself, and he was immediately rewarded with a deep kiss. “Oh, thank the darkness,” Taehyung sounded as if he had just witnessed Jimin coming back from the dead, and Jimin couldn’t help but wonder what was going through his mind.

“Why do you sound as if you just witnessed my ghost being restored?” Jimin questioned, though he wasn’t really complaining about how Taehyung had kissed him. The kiss was very much welcomed, and Jimin was only wishing for Taehyung’s lips to be on his again.

“Because I feel as though I might have,” Taehyung told him, “Look at your skin.”

Curious as to what the demon could have been so worried about, Jimin looked down at his own arm, and he understood Taehyung’s panic. Jimin’s skin was beginning to change color, but not in the way they expected. His skin was slowly turning a pale, icy blue color. Jimin wondered if this was a part of the transformation process, but, if Taehyung’s reaction was anything to go off of, if definitely wasn’t normal. Jimin’s skin was supposed to change color, but to a sunburnt red. Not an icy blue.

“I thought, maybe you were forgetting to breathe,” Taehyung explained, carefully touching Jimin’s skin. “I’ve never seen anyone turn blue before. You scared the hell out of me.”

“I’m sorry,” Jimin apologized even though this was really no fault of his own. “What does this mean?”

“I don’t know. I’m going to summon Hoseok and see if he can run an analysis on you.”

Taehyung seemed just as puzzled as Jimin was, but Hoseok would be able to find the answers if anyone could. He was sort of the doctor in Underland, and he apparently specialized in human health. It made him quite important to the devil’s family ever since Namjoon decided that Taehyung would be taking on a human partner.

Hoseok was summoned to the room, which apparently meant that he could appear there at that second, as if he teleported there. It was one of the benefits of being a spawn of the devil, Taehyung had explained. He could summon any demon in Underland on command, and they would be brought here against their will. Hoseok looked slightly puzzled, but he let out an understanding hum when he turned to see Jimin lying on the bed.

“I was wondering what had happened,” Hoseok said as he walked toward Jimin, and he grabbed the human’s wrist and pressed his thumb to the center. “It’s a little too early in the day to be summoned here without it being an emergency.”

“What do you think is wrong with him?” Taehyung asked, the concern apparent in his voice.

Right now, everything hurt for Jimin. His bum hurt, and his muscles were sore. He really shouldn’t have been so needy last night, but he couldn’t help it. Taehyung was like a drug, and he was addicted.

Hoseok ran a series of tests on Jimin. He took his blood pressure, checked his temperature, and borrowed a sample of Jimin’s saliva to examine anything abnormal. After just a few moments, he had come to a conclusion.

“I’m seeing one of two possibilities,” Hoseok explained, removing his stethoscope from his ears. “The first of which isn’t very good.”

“What are they?” Taehyung had a tight grasp on Jimin’s tiny hand as he asked the question.

“Either Jimin is transforming into an ice demon,” Hoseok explained, “Or, less likely, he’ll be a true demon with blue skin.”

“An ice demon,” Taehyung repeated in a questioning tone as if this were his first time ever hearing of such a thing. “How is that even possible?”

“Jimin was born to the ice lands,” Hoseok explained, “So the transformation may be harnessing that part of his soul. Just as we demons burn with the intensity of a thousand flames, Jimin will be as cold as a thousand winters.”

“But I’ve had other humans promised to me from Jimin’s kingdom in the past, and none of them turned out like this,” Taehyung challenged. “It just doesn’t make sense for me to be able to make an ice demon of him.”

“You’re right,” Hoseok agreed with a slight nod to his head. He folded his arms and scanned Jimin with his eyes. “Something’s not right here.”

“You think?” Taehyung snapped.

“I’m going to take these samples back to Yoongi’s lab for him to run a thorough analysis on them,” Hoseok stated, slipping all of Jimin’s samples into his medicine bag. “He’ll be able to give us a more detailed report, and hopefully figure out a solution as to what to do if Jimin is turning into an ice demon.”

“You won’t hopefully find a solution,” Jimin insisted. “You will find a solution.”

He probably hadn’t been down here long enough to be treating Taehyung’s friends in such a manner, but he was promised to Taehyung. By now, he has promised himself to Taehyung, and he intended to see that promise through. They weren’t getting rid of him that easily.

“Yes,” Hoseok agreed. “We will find a solution. If there’s any possible solution to making sure you can live down here as an ice demon, Yoongi will figure it out.” He looked at Jimin with a sigh. “It just might require you to live off of the potion for an eternity.”

Jimin pouted. The thing he looked forward to the most about becoming a true demon was not having to drink that putrid potion anymore. But, if that’s what he had to do. He nodded. “If that’s what it takes,” he said with a sigh. “And if the potion isn’t a solution?”

“Then there’s probably no chance of survival,” Hoseok stated.

“So I’ll die down here.” Jimin assumed.

“No,” Taehyung said harshly, as if he weren’t about to allow that to happen. The strong tone in his voice made Jimin’s heart well up with happiness, thinking that Taehyung cared enough about him to take this issue so seriously. “I will carry you to the peak of the coldest mountain. I will deliver you to Boreas himself if I have to, and let him decide what would be best.” Jimin recognized the name Boreas as the god of the north wind and the season of winter. “I can love you from afar, but I will not let you die down here.”

“The odds of the potion not working are very slim,” Hoseok jumped in to assure them both. “Yoongi is a powerful alchemist, and his creations seldom fail. By ‘seldom’ I mean that I have never seen him fail at a creation.”

That bit of information gave Jimin hope, but he wasn’t really looking forward to spending the rest of his life having to drink that putrid potion—especially a stronger form of that potion. Especially if he was going to be living for an eternity. Still, an eternity of the potion did seem to beat an eternity of living on separate planes from Taehyung.

*

After last night, Jimin was sore. He didn’t feel like getting out of bed, and, honestly he used being sore as an excuse to not go down and have breakfast with Taehyung’s parents. He didn’t want to admit that his was embarrassed, and a little scared for them to see him like this. The only thing was, apparently, Taehyung could spot a lie from a mile away.

“Do you not want to go down because you’re sore?” Taehyung questioned, “Or is it because you’re worried about Namjoon will say about your skin?”

Jimin grabbed a pillow from the mattress, hugging it tightly to his chest and burying his face in it a little. “Maybe both,” He admitted.

“Well,” Taehyung walked to the bed and pried the pillow from Jimin’s grasp. “He’s bound to find out sooner or later, and I know my father. He’ll question more why he didn’t see you today than he will question about the color of your skin.”

“See?” Jimin looked up into Taehyung’s eyes, hopeful. “In that case, he might even completely ignore the color of my skin because he’ll be so focused on the fact that I avoided him.”

“And he’ll make it about this,” Taehyung pointed out, placing his hands next to Jimin, on either side of the mattress, and he captured the human’s lips in a sweet kiss. “I can carry you down, if you want. But we probably should join my parents for breakfast.”

Jimin looked up with a pout, but he laced his arms around Taehyung’s neck. “Carry me then, my Prince,” He pulled himself up so that he could whisper the words right into the demon prince’s ear.

A shiver ran down Taehyung’s spine, and he wrapped his arms around Jimin. He grabbed him carefully, and he lifted the human up off of the mattress. “You are so demanding,” Taehyung hummed, nuzzling into Jimin’s cheek.

Taehyung carried him down the stairs and into the dining room, where his parents were waiting on them.

“What’s wrong with him?” Seokjin asked, a lace of concern woven in his voice.

“Nothing,” Taehyung said as he placed Jimin in a chair and took the seat across from him. “Not as far as we can tell, anyway.”

“He’s blue,” Namjoon noted, and he reached across the table to grab a hold of Jimin’s wrist. Jimin let out a soft whimper as Namjoon’s palm was hot against his skin. He lifted Jimin’s arm so he could examine it more closely. He looked Jimin right in the eye, his eyes so serious, Jimin felt like he could burn a hole right through him. “You’re a ing ice demon. But how?”

“I don’t—” Jimin started, his voice shaking.

“We don’t know,” Taehyung interrupted. “Hoseok is taking some sample back to Yoongi to find out what to do about this.”

“What to do about it?” Namjoon raised an eyebrow at his son. “There’s nothing that can be done about this. He’d an ice demon, and there’s no changing that. It’ll be impossible for him to survive down here. We’ll have no choice but to return him to the surface and take him to Boreas.”

“We are not taking him to Boreas,” Taehyung insisted. “He’s surviving down here as it is now, so he’s staying.”

“And if nothing can be done?” Namjoon challenged. “You want Jimin to suffer?”

Jimin couldn’t help but feel like Namjoon was more concerned than angry. He seemed to worry about what would happen to Jimin if the transformation continued, and it actually made Jimin feel like he really cared about him.

“Look, I don’t want to be returned to the surface,” Jimin informed them. “I want to stay down here. With Taehyung. Hoseok says that he and Yoongi can figure something out, and I believe in them. Unless we know for a fact that I’ll die down here, I’m not going anywhere.”

“Really?” Namjoon questioned, looking at Jimin suspiciously. “This is your chance to get out of this arrangement, and you aren’t going to take it?”

“He’s in love,” Seokjin said as if it was that simple. “He doesn’t want out of this arrangement.”

Namjoon looked at Jimin. “Is that true?” He asked.

Jimin glanced over at Taehyung, who was smiling softly at him. He looked back to Namjoon and nodded.

“Then I’ll have to make sure Yoongi and Hoseok will have everything they need to find a solution,” Namjoon noted, “Because I agree. They’ll probably be able to figure something out.”

*

Until Jungkook and Yoongi showed up, Jimin was left alone in his and Taehyung’s bed chambers, with only Cerberus as his company. Despite the dog carrying him to Taehyung the other day, Jimin still hadn’t grown the same affection for the beast that Taehyung had.

“Yep, he’s blue,” Jungkook noted as he joined Jimin on the bed.

“I’m hoping that, if enough of you notice, it’ll go away,” Jimin said as he watched Yoongi walk around the bed and to the desk where he pulled out a book to read, completely ignoring the two.

Jimin still couldn’t understand the ancient demon language, and he definitely couldn’t read their writing system, so he couldn’t really guess as to what kind of book it was that Yoongi was reading. The cover was black with a blue trim and the words were written across in blue. There was no art to even give a hint as to what it might be about.

“Then, I’m sorry to break it to you like this, but I’m not looking for a way to make it go away,” Yoongi said, propping his feet up onto the desk.

“No?” Jimin scooted to the end of the bed and looked over Yoongi’s shoulders, pretending to read the pages on the book. Yoongi knew that he couldn’t understand. “What are you looking for, then? Have you found anything?”

“Possibly,” Yoongi said, turning a page. He closed the book slightly to give Jimin a better look at the cover. “This is the only existing book down here on ice demons, but I have yet to read anything useful.” He closed the book fully only after marking his location. “Your samples, however, did turn up some interesting results.”

“Like?” Jimin needed to know.

“I can’t say yet,” Yoongi said. “We’ll need to keep an eye on you as you go through more steps of the transformation.”

“You want me to continue with the transformation?” Jimin questioned. “I thought we should slow it down to give you time to develop the potion.”

“I already have a potion. You’re taking it now. If anything, I’ll just need to strengthen it,” Yoongi explained. “The longer you take to transform, the longer it’ll take us to get any answers on what might be happening to you and what we should do about it.”

“So…”

“So you and Taehyung can continue to like rabbits,” Jungkook chimed, resting his chin on Jimin’s shoulder. “We all know you can’t resist him.”

“How would you know that?” Jimin’s cheeks were flushed a darker shade of blue.

“Because you allowed him to you two days in a row,” Yoongi noted, not looking up from his book. “Most humans...in fact, no human has ever been able to tolerate that.”

“What? I know plenty of people who can have multiple days in a row.” Jimin stated with a pout, crossing his arms over his chest. It wasn’t a lie, necessarily, but Jimin didn’t know much about anyone’s -life on the surface.

“Not with a demon,” Jungkook pointed out. “And not with Taehyung.”

There were many more questions that Jimin needed to be answered, but he didn’t have the energy to ask them. He was exhausted, still, from the night before, and he needed to get his rest. He felt bad for having being so sleepy while having company, but neither Yoongi nor Jungkook complained a bit as he fell asleep on them.

*

“I see I summoned my friends here for no reason,” Taehyung’s voice eventually stirred Jimin from his sleep. The human opened his groggy eyes, trying to focus on Taehyung’s figure sitting on the bed. “I would have left them alone if I knew you were just going to sleep the entire time.”

“I’m sorry,” Jimin apologized, and he really did feel bad about it. Taehyung didn’t have to summon them here for him. “I’m just so exhausted.”

Taehyung chuckled, and he kissed Jimin’s forehead. “I’m only joking,” He assured Jimin, “My friends are happy to do anything for you?”

“Are they really?” Jimin asked, seriously doubting that. “I mean, I know that they will because they don’t want you to get angry with them, but do they actually like spending time with me?”

“Of course,” Taehyung chimed, “I’m not the only one who likes you. They like that you aren’t a whiny brat, and they love that you aren’t easy to push around. You’re different from the other humans in a way that can make any demon fall in love with you, and my friends are no exception.”

“Well, there’s only one demon I’m in love with,” Jimin announced, his hand moving to interlock his fingers with Taehyung’s. “And I’m forever grateful that I’ve been promised to you.”

“You aren’t just saying that because you’ve been promised to me, are you?” Taehyung asked, clearly bothered by the thought.

“No,” Jimin insisted, “Just because we have to get married doesn’t mean that I have to like you. My parents were in an arranged marriage just like we are, and they told me that it took them years to actually fall in love. We’re the lucky ones to be able to marry the one we’re already in love with.”

“When did you fall in love with me?” Taehyung wanted to know. “Before I ed you? Or after?”

“Before,” Jimin promised, “It was just before, honestly. I think I fell for you first when I saw how kind you were treating me, offering water gels and being concerned about me after I out. That’s when I fell for you.”

“I fell for you sooner than that,” Taehyung admitted. “I fell for you when I saw you sitting on my bed in my oversized t-shirt the first night you were here. I know it was soon, but you looked so cute and pure, and I couldn’t stop myself from falling in love with you.”

“Really?” Jimin asked with a giggle. “I thought you would have fallen for me the second you laid eyes on me.”

Taehyung laughed as well, and he ran his fingers through Jimin’s hair. “There’s no such thing as love at first sight,” He explained, “I acknowledged your beauty when I first lay eyes on you, but I didn’t fall in love then. Does this information upset you?”

Jimin thought about it, and he shook his head. He scooted closer to Taehyung and rested his head on the demon’s chest. “It doesn’t upset me,” Jimin decided, “It feels more authentic if you didn’t fall in love with me for my beauty.”

“I fell in love with your beauty,” Taehyung clarified, “But I didn’t fall in love with you because of it.”

Jimin hummed in response, too tired to continue the conversation. He nuzzled into Taehyung’s chest, making himself comfortable. He hoped that the demon wasn’t planning on getting up any time soon because he was comfortable like this, and he didn’t want to move. “What time is it?” Jimin asked. Despite having slept pretty much the entire day, he was feeling like he could sleep for another few more hours.

“Bed time,” Taehyung responded, and he snuggled down in the bed with Jimin.

*

When Yoongi and Hoseok returned to the chambers later, it was to deliver the information that they were able to gather from Jimin’s DNA sample. Yoongi explained some long process on exactly how he was able to get insight on the transformation from Jimin’s DNA, but none of it made sense to Jimin, so it was information that he didn’t hold onto for very long at all.

“Anyway,” Hoseok said, cutting Yoongi off in the middle of his explanation. “We actually come bearing some good news.” A small smile was painted on his face.

Jimin listened, interested to know what it was that they found. Ever since he woke up to find that his skin had started turning blue, instead of the red color that it should be, it seemed like he was only receiving bad news.

“It turns out that Jimin won’t actually need a stronger potion,” Yoongi was the one to continue. “He is turning into an ice demon, but seeing as how you are a demon of royal blood, his magic will be powerful enough to protect him on his own.”

“Explain,” Taehyung said, seeming to doubt the information that his friends were offering them.

“As you know, royal and noble demons are able to control their temperatures more than regular demons,” Hoseok explained, “Jimin’s body, on the other hand, will maintain a body temperature that is colder than the peak of the coldest mountain. As we’ve discussed, ice has a weakness to fire, but that doesn’t work the other way around. Since Jimin’s body will be able to maintain its temperature, he’ll have no problem living down here.”

“So…” Jimin said, snaking his arms around Taehyung’s waist, more than excited after hearing the news. “We can continue where we left off and move on with the transformation?”

Yoongi had already stated that it was okay earlier, but Jimin needed Taehyung to hear it. Because he knew that the prince wouldn’t want to move on with the transformation if they wanted to give Yoongi time to work on that potion.

“Jimin,” Taehyung said, and he grabbed Jimin’s wrists and removed them from his waist. “You need to let your body rest, Babe.”

Jimin had already had Taehyung two nights in a row, but he was addicted. To go a night without Taehyung, at this point, would feel like an eternity.

“We’re still developing the potion just to be sure,” Yoongi informed them. “We don’t know how Jimin’s body is going to react to the change, but you guys can continue on like normal. Since we’ve got so much information already, it shouldn’t take us long to complete the formula.”

“Thank you,” Taehyung said to his two friends. “You two are dismissed.”

With a quick bow, both Yoongi and Hoseok left from Taehyung’s bed chambers, and Jimin coiled his arms around Taehyung’s waist once again, resting his head on the taller one’s shoulders. A playful smirk played its way across his lips, and he pressed a kiss to Taehyung’s neck. “We can continue on like normal,” He whispered against Taehyung’s skin, smiling when it sent a chill down Taehyung’s spine. “So, what do you say?”

Taehyung sighed, and he turned around in Jimin’s arms. He placed his hand behind Jimin on the mattress, and he leaned forward, pushing Jimin back so that he had to grab behind Taehyung’s neck to keep himself from falling down onto the bed. “If you want to continue on like normal, I can’t think of any reason to stop you,” Taehyung whispered, his words ghosting right over Jimin’s lips. “But I better not hear you complaining about how sore you are. If you can’t move in the morning, that’s your own damn fault.”

His words may have been harsh, but his voice was gentle. Jimin knew that he wasn’t being entirely serious. “You say that,” Jimin hummed, nuzzling his nose to the base of Taehyung’s neck. He could smell the heat radiating off Taehyung’s body, and he could tell that Taehyung had been wanting this just as badly as he had. “But you’ll only be satisfied if I can’t move in the morning. You like knowing that you can me to pure exhaustion so that the only thing I can do is beg for you to take care of me.”

Things were heating up rather quickly. Taehyung’s body always felt so hot when he and Jimin were about to go into a passionate session of lovemaking and ing, and Jimin was drawn to that warmth. He was addicted to it.

“You know me so well, fallen angel,” Taehyung hummed, and Jimin giggled at the silly nickname. Leave it to a demon to refuse to simply call someone angel. He kissed Jimin’s neck, a mark there. It felt like a burn to Jimin, but he knew that he wasn’t burnt. Taehyung would never burn him. “I think I know something you’d want to try.”

Before Jimin was even given a chance to respond, he gasped as he was forcefully flipped onto his stomach. Taehyung grabbed his hips to pull his up in the air, and he stripped Jimin’s pants down his waist. “Taehyung, what—ah!” Jimin gasped as Taehyung began lapping at his hole with his tongue.

He had seen Jungkook do this to Yoongi, and Jimin wondered what it would feel like to have it done to himself. He wondered what it would feel like to have Jungkook him with his tongue, but he was receiving it from Taehyung now. Based on his own reaction, Taehyung was much better. He hadn’t even entered Jimin yet, but Jimin wasn’t able to control himself. He was gasping and and ing in Taehyung’s hold, begging for Taehyung to him with that magical tongue of his.

Just before Jimin reached the point of sobbing, Taehyung ed his tongue into Jimin’s little hole. “Agh, Taetae,” Jimin moaned, falling forward and resting his cheek on the bed sheets. His favorite thing about this was not having to do anything. He liked Taehyung throwing him around and putting him in position. He liked being used to Taehyung’s liking, and perhaps he liked that Taehyung payed attention to his needs. Taehyung worked just as hard to make Jimin feel good as he did to make himself feel good.

Taehyung ed his tongue as deep into Jimin’s as it would go, and he ed Jimin ruthlessly. Occasionally he would stop to at Jimin’s little pucker, and that only drove Jimin crazier. It was so good. Everything with Taehyung was so good. When he stopped, Jimin let out a little whimper, but he allowed himself to relax when Taehyung made up for the absence of his tongue by wrapping a hand around Jimin’s and pumping him slowly.

“Do you just want me to get you off?” Taehyung asked, being very measured in his hand movements. He was being harsh enough to keep stimulated, but light enough that was more teasing than pleasing. “Or do you want me to come inside you? Do you think you can handle another step in your transformation tomorrow?”

Jimin didn’t respond. He was too concentrated on the feeling of Taehyung’s hand pumping him while the other hand roamed around his body.

“Jimin,” Taehyung whispered, and his hand came down harshly on Jimin’s . “I asked you a question.”

“Please,” Jimin whined.

“Please?” Taehyung questioned. He slapped Jimin’s other cheek just as hard. “Please what?”

“Come inside me,” Jimin begged. As much as he liked just getting off, he liked it so much better if Taehyung could enjoy himself, too. He liked it when Taehyung ed him because he liked the feeling of closeness that he got during the act. It was the time that they were as close as they could possibly be, and that was perhaps Jimin’s favorite part of all.

“Let me take care of you first,” Taehyung decided. Jimin didn’t exactly know what the demon had in mind, but he trusted Taehyung enough to be excited to find out.

A whole fist later, and Jimin was coming all over Taehyung’s bed sheets with a scream. Taehyung helped through his , and he let him collapse on the bed afterward.

“I wanted you,” Jimin whined as he collapsed right onto Taehyung’s thighs. He buried his face in one thigh, and he whined once more. “You are such a .”

“You’re about to take my ,” Taehyung assured him, rubbing soothingly at Jimin’s cheek.

Jimin didn’t immediately know what Taehyung meant by that, but he quickly found out as Taehyung lifted him from the bed and put him on his knees in front of him. “It works either way,” Taehyung pet Jimin’s cheek as he shoved his clothed against Jimin’s lips. “If you swallow, you’ll go through the next part of your transformation.”

Somehow this was scarier to Jimin than taking Taehyung up the was. He didn’t have to do anything when Taehyung ed him. This way, however, Jimin would actually have to be pleasing. He didn’t know if he could do this well enough to get Taehyung off. He also didn’t know if he would be able to do this without choking.

He pressed a kiss to Taehyung’s clothed , a confident smile on his lips when Taehyung sighed at the action. It was only sigh, but it was a good reaction. Jimin had never had Taehyung in his mouth before, and he was wanting to know what he would taste and feel like. Curiosity in mind, Jimin wasted no time in getting Taehyung’s pants down and around his ankles. Before he could go right into shoving Taehyung’s whole into his mouth, Taehyung cupped his cheek and turned his head back so that he was looking up at him. “Eager, are we?” Taehyung chuckled, and he ran a thumb across Jimin’s cheek bone. “I doubt you’ll last long enough to get me off, but just do what you can. I’ll you and come in your if I have to.”

Jimin didn’t know what Taehyung meant about lasting long enough. It wasn’t like Jimin was going to come just from Taehyung off, so he was confident that he would be able to get Taehyung off like this.

It didn’t take Jimin long to find out what Taehyung meant, either. With his little mouth wrapped around Taehyung’s massive , it didn’t take long for Jimin’s jaw to start hurting. He continued on longer than he probably should have, addicted to the sounds Taehyung was making with Jimin’s mouth wrapped around his . “Damn, Jimin,” Taehyung panted, slowly sliding his out of Jimin’s mouth, only to slide it back in again when Jimin tried to him back. “How are you so good at this?”

Jimin smirked as much as he could around Taehyung’s , the praise going directly to his own , making it twitch as it started to get hard again. There was something satisfying about pleasing Taehyung so well, seeing as how the demon had plenty of human partners before Jimin, and had been having for thousands of years. None of these sensations were new to him, yet Jimin was still able to drive him wild.

It was exhausting to keep this up. Despite how much Jimin was addicted to the warmth of Taehyung’s and the spiciness of his pre-come, Jimin couldn’t keep going. He slid his lips up to the top, and he swirled his tongue around the slit just before popping off of Taehyung’s . A thin trail of saliva kept them connected as Jimin stared up at Taehyung, panting heavily. Taehyung looked smug and perfect, and Jimin knew that he was the one who looked all ed out. His hair was a mess from Taehyung running his fingers through it, and he was the one sitting on the floor with his mouth gaping open as he panted to catch his breath. How Jimin would love to achieve getting Taehyung to look like this. The demon always looked so ing perfect, and never ed out.

With a gentle smile, Taehyung reached a hand down to swipe at the saliva trailing from Jimin’s lips to his own . “Tired already?” Taehyung teased, bringing his thumb up to his mouth and the saliva off.

Jimin assumed that his pants would be enough of a response to affirm Taehyung’s statement.

“We can continue it this way another time,” Taehyung said, and he grabbed Jimin’s arm to pull him up off the ground. When Jimin felt Taehyung’s hands on the back of his thighs, he instinctively wrapped his arms around the demon’s neck to hold himself steady as Taehyung lifted his thighs up. He lifted Jimin up so that his and Taehyung’s were aligned. “But you are hard again, so—”

Ugh, Tae…”

Taehyung’s slid right into Jimin’s . “—I think we can finish off this way.”

Without moving to a wall, or falling onto the bed, Taehyung ed Jimin right there. Standing in the middle of the room with no support to keep them up, but Taehyung did keep them up. He didn’t allow very much time for Jimin to get adjusted, but he started off slowly. He carefully slid out of Jimin’s before dropping Jimin back down onto his , and Jimin’s moans came out in the same slow rhythm that he was being bounced against Taehyung’s body—his being rubbed in between them.

Jimin buried his face in his arms, and he let Taehyung have full control. He hated it so much when the demon stopped before he could come, so he tried to at least keep control over his reaction. Eventually, though, Jimin’s moans had turned into gasps and pants, and Taehyung could tell that he was close.

you,” Jimin said, when Taehyung stilled with his shoved up Jimin’s . He moved them onto the bed, without pulling out from Jimin, and the demon settled himself on top of the human.

“I can’t let you come so early,” Taehyung hummed, kissing Jimin deep and into his mouth. When he pulled back, he continued, “You would get too sensitive.”

“Have you ever thought that maybe I like it when I get sensitive?” Jimin demanded, hating it every time Taehyung thought it would be a ing brilliant idea to stop before Jimin came.

“I have thought that,” Taehyung assured him with a chuckle, “Which is exactly why I stop before you come. I like torturing you.”

“Yeah, well—agh,” The only warning Jimin got before Taehyung ed back into him was quick squeeze of the hips, and it was enough to cut off any of Jimin’s arguments. “…you…”

Taehyung pounded into Jimin’s loose hole, and he quickly switched their position so that one of Jimin’s legs was resting on his shoulder, spreading his thighs apart so that he could get deeper into Jimin. This was Jimin’s favorite position because he liked how deep Taehyung could get at this angle, and he liked how it put a slight burn in his thighs as Taehyung stretched him as far as he could possibly go.

“Are you close?” Taehyung asked, but Jimin knew the question wasn’t necessary. Taehyung could obviously tell when Jimin was about to blow his load, and he only ever asked when he wanted to tease Jimin a bit further. Not wanting to play into the demon’s malicious games, Jimin didn’t answer.

When Jimin came this time, Taehyung didn’t take too long to follow, and he collapsed on top of Jimin when they were done riding their s out. The warmth and closeness was very welcomed, and Jimin wished that these moments could last forever. The ones right after their done sinning, and Taehyung turns into an absolute ball of fluff that is so soft for Jimin. He wants to spend every hour of everyday cuddling with Taehyung and receiving his kisses. Then the thought of becoming immortal occurs to Jimin, and he’s reminded that this comfortable feeling isn’t only temporary. He and Taehyung will always be able to stay like this.

“You know, I’m starting to get used to this,” Jimin hummed, wrapping his arms around Taehyung’s back.

“Used to what?” Taehyung asked, and Jimin hated the fact that he didn’t sound anywhere near as exhausted as Jimin felt.

“Laying here with your up my ,” Jimin told him, “It wasn’t that great at first, but I actually kind of like it now.”

When Taehyung laughed, Jimin could feel it in his own chest. “You say some unbelievable things sometimes, my sweet boy,” Taehyung chortled, and he buried his face in the crook of Jimin’s neck. “Do you feel better now?”

“You went easy on me this time,” Jimin stated, “I’m fine for now, but I can’t say much for how I’m going to feel tomorrow. I don’t even know what to expect.”

“I hope it’s the horns,” Taehyung chimed, and he lifted himself up so that he could look down at Jimin. Jimin took the opportunity to take a good look at Taehyung’s horns. The horns were the parts that kept Taehyung from looking like a human, but they were attractive on Taehyung. His horns were nice and thick at the base, and they thinned out as they neared the tip. His horns had the same style to them as Namjoon and Seokjin’s did, and Jimin assumed that it must be a royal blood thing, seeing as how none of the other demons had horns that looked quite like theirs.

“Will my horns look like this?” Jimin asked, tracing a finger along the side of one of Taehyung’s horns.

“They should,” Taehyung told him, “But your transformation has been full of surprises, so we won’t know until it happens.”

“Did any of your past humans grow horns?”

“Yes. That’s how I’m aware that it’s the most painful part.”

“And? Did they look like this?”

“Always,” Taehyung said, removing Jimin’s hand from his horn and dipping down to kiss Jimin’s lips. “But none of them turned blue either, so I don’t know what to expect from you.”

“Can you feel them? When I touch them?” Jimin wanted to know what it would be like to have horns. He wondered if they were just like some fancy decorations on his head, or if he would actually be able to feel them there. If he would be able to feel when other people touched them.

Taehyung chuckled and shook his head. “No, I can’t feel anything with them,” Taehyung told him, “Unless you pull or put pressure there. I can feel that.”

“Will Namjoon be upset if my horns don’t look like yours?” Jimin asked.

Taehyung shook his head again. “He wasn’t upset about your tiny fangs,” Taehyung pointed out, pressing his thumb into Jimin’s mouth to feel the tip of one of Jimin’s fangs again, “Or that you turned blue. So I really don’t think he’ll care what your horns look like.”

“Will you be upset?” Jimin asked, more worried this time.

Taehyung clicked his tongue, and he kissed the side of Jimin’s head where his horns would be growing in. “No matter what they look like, Jimin,” Taehyung whispered, “They’ll be perfect. Your blue skin and short fangs are perfect, and everything else will be perfect, too.”

*

“Ah, Taehyung,” Jimin whined when he woke up due to an immense pain in his head.

Just at Taehyung had hoped, it seemed that Jimin’s horns were starting to grow in, and it was already more painful than when his canines had been filed and lengthened into his demon fangs. It felt like there were someone inside of his skull, drilling to get their way out, and the pain was bad enough to keep Jimin from sleeping, and the only reason he woke up when he did.

“It’s okay, I’m right here,” Jimin heard Taehyung’s voice whispering, and he felt Taehyung’s fingers comb through his hair until his palms were resting right where the pain was in Jimin’s head. Jimin tried nuzzling into Taehyung’s touches, but nothing seemed to help in taking the pain away. “Sit still,” Taehyung demanded, “I can’t help you if you keep squirming.”

So Jimin did his best to sit still, and he felt Taehyung’s lips being pressed to his forehead. He felt Taehyung’s palms heating up on either side of his head, but it wasn’t painful at all this time. Just warm, and it helped soothe some of the pain. “Better?” Taehyung asked. It was still unbearable, and Jimin still wanted to cry, but it was better.

Jimin nodded, and he finally opened his eyes to see the demon smiling at him. It was difficult to read the words hidden behind that smile, but it was somewhere between sympathetic and admiration. “I still feel like my brain is trying to escape,” Jimin told him, whimpering at the pain left behind, “But it is better.”

“I told you,” Taehyung said, “This is going to be the most painful part. I was hoping this would be the next step, which is why I didn’t go too rough on you last night. If you want this pain to hurry up and get over with, we are going to have again to continue this part. It’s going to take at least a couple of days, but we can get through it a lot quicker by ing more.”

Jimin wondered if that was true, or if Taehyung was just saying it as an excuse for them to more. Part of Jimin hoped that it was true, though, as he didn’t know how long he’d be able to handle this pain.

“You can do what you want,” Jimin promised, and he scooted closer to Taehyung. “Just…can you do anything more to take this pain away?”

Taehyung hummed in response, and he placed his palms on Jimin’s head again. When his palms heated up this time, it was hot, and painful. Jimin winced, but the heat was better than whatever he was feeling before.

“I think it’s time that I told you about the other humans,” Taehyung hummed, and he sat up on the bed. Jimin did as well, interested to know what Taehyung was about to tell him. He had heard so much about the past humans that Taehyung had been with, but he never gets any clarification on what they actually were to Taehyung. How Taehyung felt about them or anything. “Follow me.”

Taehyung led Jimin to an unfamiliar part of Hell. It was in the lower level of the castle, somewhat similar to a dungeon. Cerberus followed them down there, and Taehyung explained that no one is allowed to enter this room without Cerberus as the souls locked away here could easily escape and cause a lot of damage without the dog’s protection. Taehyung explained that this was the room where all the souls damned to Hell came to rest, and that every human soul was damned here. Modern day people dreamed of living good lives so that they might find their way to heaven without having to suffer, but that was a fool’s dream, Taehyung explained. He said that Jimin was actually saved by being selected as a promised human, especially if he was able to survive the transformation, because it would mean that his soul couldn’t be damned to this cursed room.

“If I did decide to get rid of you,” Taehyung said, leading Jimin further into the room. “This is where your soul would go.”

There was apparently a large chamber just for the souls of those who didn’t make it through to the marriage. There were all kinds of birdcage-like objects hanging from the ceiling, each with a flaming soul inside of it. If Jimin listened closely, he could hear the quiet screams of those that Taehyung let go. Perhaps this might have built fear up in someone with the chance to end up there, but Jimin only seemed to be riveted by it. The quiet screams of these poor souls were like music to Jimin’s ears, and he felts as if he could picture them at night when he needed a lullaby to fall asleep.

“So these are the ones that didn’t make it,” Jimin said, breathless as he stared into the different color flames.

“Scared?” Taehyung asked, but Jimin shook his head.

“Somehow, I just feel…happy,” Jimin admitted, wondering if there was something terribly wrong with him for getting such enjoyment from souls that have been sentenced to eternal suffering.

Taehyung smirked in response to Jimin’s confession, and he pulled the human in for a hug. “You were clearly made to become one of us,” Taehyung hummed, and Jimin realized that his enjoyment was a good thing. It meant that he belonged here. “No human would get such enjoyment from the suffering of these poor souls.”

“Do you remember any of them?” Jimin wondered if Taehyung would be able to tell him any specifics.

“Of course,” Taehyung said, “I remember most of them, but their souls remember everything.”

With a wave of Taehyung’s hand, an image began playing in one of the flames like a movie would play on the TV screen. In the flame, Jimin saw a young man, right around his age, and he assumed this to be the promised one. He seemed to be living in an area very similar to Ancient Greece, and Namjoon and Seokjin were the only two demons on the surface.

“He was my first,” Taehyung explained, “At this time, I wasn’t allowed to meet the sacrifices before they were gifted to me.”

Upon his arrival in Hell, he wasn’t given any time at all to warm up to the place. He was led immediately to Taehyung’s chambers, and Taehyung pinned him onto the bed, burning his clothes off and ing him right there. The man screamed, and he cried, begging for the demon to stop, but Taehyung didn’t care. It was hard for Jimin to imagine Taehyung behaving in such a way, but he shouldn’t have been surprised. Taehyung basically admitted to this kind of behavior already.

“You him,” Jimin stated, trying to absorb that bit of information so he knew how to feel about it. “Did he even know why he was brought down here at that point?”

“Not until after the act,” Taehyung admitted, “And this happened in ancient times. Things were much different back then. Are you upset with me?”

Jimin looked into the flame again, listening to the cries of the man as he was by the demon prince. Jimin should have found it upsetting, but Taehyung was right. It was a different time back then. “I’m not upset,” He said with a sigh, “But I do know that I would have hated you if you treated me like that when I arrived.” He looked at Taehyung. “Would you have? If I was promised to you four thousand years ago?”

“It’s difficult to say, but probably,” Taehyung said, “As I said, it was a different time back then. You might not have hated it as much as you think you would have if you were born in that time.”

“He hates it. He was born in that time,” Jimin noted bluntly.

“And I learned from that mistake,” Taehyung acted as if he was trying to defend himself, but Jimin wasn’t attacking him. He was just being honest. “This was also the first time I ever met a human, and I wasn’t aware of all the actual differences between them and demons. If you would walk around Underland more, you’d know that demons each other like this, stranger or not, all the time. Just—” Taehyung took a breath and sighed. “Keep watching.”

Jimin kept watching.

A montage of the soul’s memories played through, and he could see that Taehyung would occasionally try to be gentle with the human. It wasn’t in the same way he treated Jimin, but he was making an effort. When the human continued to act out and try to escape, Taehyung eventually got fed up with it. He had already grown his fangs and horns, and his skin was even red before Taehyung decided to lock him up in a cell and be done with him. Jimin watched as the potion wore off, and he started to die slowly. His internal organs must have changed because it took some time for him to die. His skin bubbled as he got hot, and the rest was too gruesome for Jimin to watch, so he closed his eyes and turned his head away.

“Stop it,” Jimin demanded.

“You love their cries, but this is too much for you?” Taehyung asked with a soft chuckle as the flame stopped playing.

“I don’t care what happened to him,” Jimin stated, “I just don’t want to see it.”

“Fair enough,” Taehyung noted, and another flame began playing.

Jimin looked back to watch it.

This must have been Taehyung’s second human. He was brought to Taehyung’s bed chambers just as the man before him had been. This time, however, he was informed of what his destiny would be. He, unlike the first man, allowed Taehyung to him. He didn’t seem like he wanted it, so to speak, but he wasn’t going to refuse. Jimin would have felt sorry for him, but it was realistic to how royalty and nobility was married off on the surface.

Throughout the rest of this soul’s memories, Jimin could tell that the man was scared. He never argued with Taehyung, and he did everything the demon told him to. He was too compliant and too scared, so he didn’t last long.

A similar trend played in the next few souls that Taehyung showed Jimin. They were either so scared that they were too obedient, or just scared enough that they had the guts to try and escape. It didn’t matter how patient Taehyung was with any of them, they wouldn’t come around.

“As you can see,” Taehyung stated as he closed the last flame. “They were all scared. It didn’t matter how much time I gave them to adjust, they were all too scared to be down here.”

“I wasn’t scared, was I?” Jimin asked, not really recalling how he felt when he first came down here.

Taehyung shook his head. “I think you might have been when you just thought we were going to kill you,” Taehyung said, “But you instantly relaxed when you heard the real reason you were called down here.”

“It was a relief to know that I’d be marrying a man,” Jimin said with a smile. “If I had stayed on the surface, I wouldn’t have gotten that choice.”

“Well,” Taehyung said, lacing his fingers with Jimin and pulling him closer. “I hope that you want to marry me for more reasons than just me being a man.” He chuckled. “And I hope that you want to marry me just as much as I want to marry you.”

“I do,” Jimin said, and he hooked his free hand around Taehyung’s neck. “I really want to marry you, Kim Taehyung. So we should probably move this transformation along.”

He pulled Taehyung into a deep kiss, listening to the romantic sound of the screaming souls.
