“Then I Bae Joohyun, Vice Chairman of Gobble Tech, will marry you at your earliest convenience”

She waited for Joohyun’s next words. She is 100 percent sure that her boss did not just asked to marry her

“Excuse me?” she asked to make sure that if she heard it correctly

“You fear that you will end up alone and lonely, I will marry you to assure you that will never happen” Joohyun proposed

She laughed when she realized that Joohyun is completely serious. She laughed and laughed until tears started falling off her eyes

“Yah! Why are you laughing?” Joohyun asked, completely oblivious to the fact the she had just proposed the dumbest idea ever

“I apologize Vice Chairman, but you can’t expect me to marry you out of convenience” she answered, still chuckling at the thought of marrying her boss

“Does this mean that you are rejecting my proposal?” Joohyun asked, seemingly confused on her refusal

“I think you should go. It’s getting late, be safe on your way home, Vice Chairman” she bid her farewell.

Joohyun just nodded and walked towards her car. She watched the car until it is no longer in her sight before she started walking towards her own home.

By the time that she arrived in the office, the news of her leaving has already spread like wildfire. Every person she came across to asks if the news is true. A few has been asking why she is leaving but she paid them no mind.

By lunchtime she was shocked to the sudden arrival of her replacement. She was not aware that Joohyun had already held the interviews.
