COSMOSHongseok didn't wait for an answer, because he knew what the answer was, he just held Changgu tight, resting the boy's head in the crook of his neck caressing his shoulders and arms.
Changgu cried for few minutes but then he stopped, he sighed as he calmed down in Hongseok's embrace. It was late, around 11:30PM, Changgu didn't realise just how fast the time flew by, he can't even remember when Hongseok brought him back from the restaurant, but he felt better.
Talking about his history always felt like it was going to leave Changgu wrecked but he didn't feel that bad after all, he looked up at Hongseok, he was there, it felt good having him next near by. Hongseok kind of made it easier, he did make it easier, he was warm and Changgu liked being near him, he can't remember the last time anyone has comforted him the way Hongseok just did, no one stayed that long to make sure he was okay and no one cared that much
Hongseok stared back at Changgu's tired eyes
"I know that was hard for you, do you feel any better now?" he asked and Changgu nodded,
"Do I still have to take that IV drip?" he asked rather scared, he didn't want to but he trusted Hongseok
"It will help, and I ... I'll make sure it won't hurt okay?"
Changgu nodded still in Hongseok's arms. Few seconds later, he layed down as Hongseok went to fetch the IV from his bag, he can't remember when Hongseok got it maybe when he was sleeping?
His head felt heavy, Changgu was breathing deeply and slowly, Hongseok gently tried to inject the IV drips through his vines and Changgu hissed a little
"Did it hurt?" Hongseok sounded agitaed "Sorry" he said apologetically, Changgu smiled at him
"No it's fine, it didn't hurt like I thought it would"
Hongseok sighed "And how is that?"
"I've been admitted to hospitals before you know? My medical record is thicker than a dictionary, from physical to psychatrical reports, tests and all, they used to hurt, they used to hurt alot"
Hongseok held Changgu's arm "I will never ..." but before he could finish, Changgu cut him off
"Hurt me? ... I know"
he smiled and it felt like a ball of warm feelings exploded inside Hongseok's chest, he felt relieved, Changgu trusted him, finally.
Few seconds of silence took place, Hongseok just smiling down at Changgu,
"Your wound seems fine" Hongseok said "But You should take your pills and ... finish your plate?"
Hongseok knew that he was probably asking too much from the sick boy but Changgu nodded getting up slowly, he took a few bites of his plates finishing over half of it and gulped down his pills. Hongseok was more than happy, then they layed down again facing each other. Changgu was tired, he was chasing sleep, weakly blinking his eyes but for some reason he couldn't sleep.
Changgu felt at ease, at least for a while, Hongseok was here and the pills were working, his headache was almost gone, but his heart kept beating a little too fast whenever he remembered school, Wooseok and the pain, he was scared. Hongseok was staring at him, occasionally standing up and adjusting the IV drips and laying down next to him again.
"School" Changgu suddenly said, Hongseok was a little confused "Humm? School? What about it?"
Changgu reached his hand to wrap it around Hongseok's shirt again, and that's when Hongseok felt that something was wrong, everytime Changgu did this, he knew that the other wasn't feeling so secure. Hongseok gently caressed the boy's hand and brought him closer "What's wrong with school?"
"It's scary" Changgu said "I-I dont want to go there anymore" Hongseok had to think about it for f
