WOOHYUN'S POV

"I'll let you know about the proposal when it's done" I heard Sungkyu said on the phone

I watch as he browses some papers on his table while he talked to the person on the other line. I smiled. 'Some things really don't change'

I knocked on the door softly to call his attention. He lifted his eyes and looked at me. I could see the little surprise on his face and I can't help but smile a little. He gestured me to come in and wait until the call was off.

"Did Bora show you where your office is?" he asked not looking at me as he was fixing his messy table.

"Uh, y-yeah. I-I guess so, it's the one on the left side of the hall" I stuttered

"All your needed papers are there, just let me finish this so I can start showing you what you need to do as the new marketing manager" he said still not looking

After he organized his table, I followed him out of his office and we both go to my new office which was only across his. We walk over a few cubicles, some of the employees greeting us. I've already met some of them earlier.

"Dongwoo told me that your official start would be on Wednesday. Have you done your research about this company?" he asked as soon as we reached the office

He was sitting on my supposed to be chair and I was standing in front of him with my supposed to be table between us

"Uhm, yeah. It's not that different from where I've worked before. This company manages hotels and restaurants throughout Korea and other countries like Japan, England, and Germany" I said confidently.

"Okay, that's good, your position on your last job was?" he asked like he was interviewing me. I raised an eyebrow at him questioningly

"Don't get me wrong Mr. Nam, I need to know this information so I'll know how to guide you and we can avoid wasting our time" he said expertly I frowned a little. 'He's treating me like a regular employee' but I guess that's better than treating me like a complete stranger.

"I've worked as the Marketing Assistant in Evolution Company for 2 years" I told him

"Okay, well then I guess it won't be that hard for you to keep up with your work here. It's almost the same as your work there just a little more tiring though" he said scanning the files on my desk

"So basically, your work is to manage budgets for media and marketing campaigns and evaluate the performance of our company's campaigns. We have this monthly meeting for improving our campaigns and promotions together with the rest of the marketing department. We also have to pass a quarterly report of the expenses and income to the finance department but you just have to evaluate that and pass to me. I think that's basically it." he said all that in one breath. I sigh, it seems like he wants to leave this room as soon as he can.

"I got it all Gyu.. I mean Sungkyu-ssi" I said with an awkward smile

"Well then good, all the telephone numbers and fax numbers are here including mine so if you have any question just ask it" he said standing up from the chair.

"I need to go. I still have some papers to review" he said passing by me.

As soon as he gets out, I let out a breath that I didn't realize I was holding.

SUNGKYU'S POV

"Wait hyung, I don't think I heard you quite right. Did you just say that Nam Woohyun is working with you?" Sungyeol huffed questioningly. I nodded at him drinking my shot

It was Thursday and they decided to meet up for our night-out. Sunghyun's sleeping at my sister's house just like every other night when we go out for a drink.

"And you're okay with this? Howon hyung, how come you're not surprise or mad about this? This is Nam ing Woohyun we are talking about" Sungyeol spat out angrily

"Dongwoo already told me about it last Monday. And stop exaggerating will you, Woohyun's our friend as well" Howon said matter of factly

"Friend?" Sungyeol scoffed

"As far as I can remember I don't have a friend who abandons his responsibilities" Sungyeol said angrily

"I don't really have a choice Yeol, it's not like the office knows about us" I said to stop those brothers from arguing more

"Don't tell me you're just going to let this happen. Are you just going to let him in your life again like nothing happened?" Sungyeol said bitterly

I didn't know what to say let alone what to do so I remained quiet.

"Oh God! Hyung, don't tell me you still love that good for nothing idiot. Should I remind you that he left you and your son with nothing, without even bothering to ex--" I glared at Sungyeol and cut him off

"I don't love him anymore Sungyeol and I don't really have a choice here. The company chose him and I can't tell him to quit and most of all I can't quit this job" I yelled at him still glaring at him. He was also glaring at me.
