“Why me?” Mina’s once warm and loving eyes towards the girl, pooled with nothing but hatred.

“I didn’t want to hide it from you.” Momo tried to reason.

“I didn’t want to know…I didn’t want anything to do with you anymore…”

“Min-“

“I LEARNED TO GET OVER YOU.”  Mina clenched her fists.

“You left me behind.” Her voice was shattered, the brokenness blossomed from her heart into her voice.

“I left for your safety.”

“THEN WHY ARE YOU BACK. WHY!” The tears streamed down Mina’s face. “And why…are you telling me that you’re one of them!”

“Because I’m trying to protect you now.” Momo’s voice was flat, soft.

“What you are is a monster. Don’t come near me ever again.”

“I’m not…”

“One of your kind killed my sister! AND YOU KNEW THAT! So Don’t tell me you aren’t a monster…”

“I’m not like that Mina.” Momo’s voice was pleading.

“You aren’t any different. Your just like them. A selfish MONSTER who only use humans for your tasteless need to survive.”

“Min-“

“If I had known what you were to become I would  have never became involved with you.  I don’t want to be involved with anything like you.”

Momo took a deep inhale, what did she expect. She left off the map for a year. No explanation to Mina.

She watched as Mina walked away from her into the dimly lit street.

Momo was a vampire, if that wasn’t clear. Born into it, not having a choice. She knew someday the traits, the urges, the characteristics would show.

It never bothered her until the day she met Mina. She was okay with being who she was. Until the day she had wished that she didn’t have anything to do with the vampire society.

Mina Myoui, the person who she ended up falling for hated who she was born to become.
