Son Chaeyoung
The Soulcode
A pull on her wrist jerked Sana out of her stupor. The shock almost felt like an electricity runs through her body. She looked up at the person in front her, feeling her chest constricts as soon as their eyes met.
"You were avoiding me." Tzuyu said, she didn't even try to conceal the pain in her voice. Sana opened , was about to deny her assumption but then again, Tzuyu was right. Sana really did avoid her this past week.
"You're not even denying it."
Sana looked away from Tzuyu's eyes – glistening from unshed tears. It's too painful to watch, way more painful when you're the reason behind it.
"Did I do something wrong, sunbae?" Tzuyu desperately asked, her grip on Sana's wrist tightened and only then Sana realized the Taiwanese girl was still holding her. She looked at the younger girl, jaws locked before harshly pulling her hand off Tzuyu's grip.
"Listen, Tzuyu. What makes you think I'm avoiding you? When we're not even close in the first place?" A stab. "And please, stop following me around like this. It's annoying." Another stab. “I only being nice to you that day because you look like you needed it.” Final stab.
Tzuyu staggered on her feet, like someone just shoved her harshly almost makes her lose her balance. Sana's words felt like a punch to her stomach. Her eyes wide as she stares at Sana, the Japanese girl was looking at her with the look like she didn't just spit something hurtful at her. Tzuyu almost didn't recognize the girl in front of her right now, wondering if this was the same person who greet her with a warm smile when she transferred here weeks ago. The person that makes Tzuyu believe maybe, just maybe leaving her home country won't be as terrified as she thought because Sana is there, offering her warm smile that say hey, you look lonely but don’t worry you're not alone because I'm here for you and act exactly like she did meant it until recently. Tzuyu doesn't want to believe her words right now because how can people change so fast? but who's she kidding. Like Sana just said, they barely know each other. Tzuyu was the stupid one here for believing that in the first place. She looked up at Sana, eyes hot from the tears that threatening to fall. She opened to say something, to hurt Sana back with her words, spit hurtful words at the latter but nothing comes out.
Because it wasn't Sana's fault, it was hers.

This new discovery had been disturbing her since that day and it's frustrating that she can't do anything about it.
