Tzuyu, a Taiwanese girl, has always been rejected from others for no apparent reason. They always seemed to put her down not just for her birthplace, but also for her nerdy personality. She is an outsider, with only her best friend Nayeon as company. This all seems to alter when the new Japanese exchange student shows up. His name is Yuta and he is automatically liked by the jocks at school. Yuta isn't interested in that, and finds an interest in Tzuyu, going out if his way to make sure that she is okay. Will Tzuyu allow Yuta to have an effect in her life, or will she take another route?
