The story of my love began when my so called 'Angel' father, who was quite popular amongst women, and have a nickname like ‘Yabai Kang’ introduced his new lover to me.

“Jiyong, I want to introduce—”

“—Your new lover?” I interjected him, clearly startling him a bit at my quick response.

“Ji— jiyong, how could you kn—?”

“Of course, I know,” I cut him off again, “So, where’s this lucky woman now? Let me meet her.”

I didn’t know why my father seemed a bit reluctant at first, but maybe it was just me. Because after that, he called out to someone, probably the aforementioned new lover of his. To be honest, I was kind of curious to meet her in person. I was curious to see what kind of a woman could entice my father, to a point he had seemed to be fatally in love with her.

Not long after, appeared a tall gorgeous man; he had bright blond hair that adorned his facial feature so perfectly, and that pair of beautiful sharp eyes, adding up more iness to his already dazzling aura.

I could hear myself gulp my saliva down my throat. He was more than handsome… he was gorgeous! But wait… did my eyes play trick on me? Or my father was actually bring a man?

“I’m… Choi Seunghyun. You can call me Top if you want, though. Nice to meet you, Jiyong", he finally spoke.

He even had a very nice voi—wait…. This is not the time to admire! And what with the heavy voice…?! I suddenly had a bad feeling about this…

“Just wait a sec! Who are you? And why… a man… ?” I couldn’t help but ask him directly.

“Well…” he seemed bewildered, “like I said before, I’m Choi Seunghyun, I’m your father lover. Didn’t you… tell him?” he turned to look at my father who looked nervous

It seemed like my heart had skipped a beat upon hearing him!—his short explanation about his status.

His words were echoing in my head. Oh my God… so I was right, after all!! I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself down. Little did I know that my Father and his new lover looked at me with a confused gaze. I had expected my Father to be attracted to gorgeous people, but it turn out to be a man, of all pretty women out there?! I regained my composure and acted casual and polite, nonetheless.

“Ahahaha….” I started with an awkward laughter, “I’m Kang Jiyong. You—”

“Just call me Top, or hyung, please,” he interrupted me with a smile.

What a charming smile. No wonder Father fell for him.

“Ah yes, Top-ssi may call me Jiyong. Ni— nice to meet you…” I faked a smile, whilst trying hard not to look nervous. Because who wouldn’t be shocked when finding out that your father was dating a man?!

It had been a week since Father introduced his lover to me. He had also told me that Top-ssi and his little brother would move in here this weekend to live with us.

__FLASHBACK__

“uhm, jiyong… Would you mind if… Erm…”

“No, I wouldn’t mind, Father,” I knew what Father was going to say, and I had thought about it as well, “In fact, I am glad that you find happiness in Top-ssi and that he brings the joy into your life again after Mother passed away three years ago.”

Yes, it was better this way. I just couldn’t stand seeing Father mourn Mother’s death nearly every day.

“But Mother would—”

“She would be fine. I’m pretty sure Mother would be glad as well as I am if you’re happy like this,” I explained.

The anxiety that was previously shown in my father’s face faded away, replaced by a wide smile of relief. I couldn’t help but feel happy, too.

“Oh yeah, Jiyong. Would it be okay if Seunghyunie and his little brother live with us?”

“Eh? Here…?”

“But if you minded—”

“No, I don’t. I mean, I’m okay with that. Besides, it’s pretty lonely here whenever you’re off to work, you know,” I added.

“Are you really okay with that, jiyong?” asked Seunghyun.

“Yes, Top-ssi. You and your little brother are more than welcome in our house,” I smiled widely, just to assure the tall man that I was fine with their decision to move in.

“Thank God~” said Father and Top-ssi in  unison, before they smiled at each other after that.

The day came at last, when I would finally meet my uncle, or cousin, or I prefer to call him my step little brother, couse Top-ssi said he is younger than me. I couldn’t hide my excitement as to what he would be like, because you know, being the little brother of someone as gorgeous as Top-ssi. He must have, at least, inherited Top-ssi’s handsome face as well. Not that I was physically attracted to someone I barely knew, though.

“Yo, Ji!!” I was really, really startled upon hearing the loud voice. I turned around, only to find my best friend, Yongbae, approaching me.

“Cut it off, Bae! You startled me!!,” I complained to him, although I knew that Yongbae merely didn’t mean to do it.

“I’m sorry ji, I don’t know your reaction will be— Anyway, he will be coming today, won’t he? Are you thinking of him?”

“Erm, yeah…” Came out my lazy reply.

“I’m home...~”

“welcome back, Jiyong,” answered my father from inside.

“Father? You’re not working?” I asked, confused.
