She shivered slightly and rubbed her forearms, pulling his oversized flannel shirt closer to her. She couldn’t believe it—

He’d left...But he’d left with a sad look in his eyes, one that was full of regret and unfulfilled promises—maybe it would have been better if he hadn’t been so emotional...

(Maybe, she thought, it would have been better if he’d stared at her coldly and ignored her silent, pleading questions.

Because—it might have helped her to forget.)

What was she supposed to do? Was she supposed to call him and ask him what he was doing? Confront him about what had happened? Or ignore him and play it cool, like it didn’t matter anymore? Make it seem as if she wasn’t hurt at all; that she didn’t care?

(Even though she did?)

“Jonghyun-ah,” she whispered softly, albeit fiercely. “I hate you.”

But now I'll go sit on the floor
