* Shiya's P.O.V. *

 

"its graduation already, i know I have to tell him how i feel before its too late.."

I said on my mind encouraging myself

 

"Kei-kun anou~ can you come with me for a second? i have something to say

to you" i said when i saw him with his friends, he just smiled at me and nodded in return.

 

' that smile... he's wearing that smile again '  i smiled back at him

 

* End of P.O.v. *

Shiya went out of the crowd, Kei still following her from behind.. it was an awkward silence until

they reached their schools backyard..

 

"anou saa~" shiya said breaking the silence  "kei-kun.." Kei looked at her straight in the eye

that made her more nervous

 

"i know its all of a sudden.. But~" she sigh "You're my best friend right?" Kei

nodded allowing her to continue

 

"I... I......." she stammered

 

" ah Shi-chan nani? " kei asked giving her a reassuring smile, it some how

helped her to calm down

 

"I like you Kei-kun, ever since we're on middle school, i know we're best friends

and i don't want to ruin our friendship but since then you always been my----" she stopped

 

'my first Love' she thought

 

Kei waited for her to speak again but she didn't, instead she stared at Kei observing

his reaction. Kei thought it was the right time for him to speak up, so he spoke

 

" Shiya~ gomen ne, I appreciate your feelings but... I cant accept it.." he said

 

'not now Shiya, its also hard for me to say those hurtful words to you.. i love you too

but, this is not the right time...not now...'

 

"ah sou ka Kei-kun.. Its alright i understand" holding back her tears she gave her an

understanding smile..

 

She was about to leave when suddenly Kei called her "shiya wait!"

 

"what is it kei-kun?" she asked facing him again

 

"Shiya I'm flying for America.. Tonight" he said

 

"you what kei?"

 

"Im going to America tonight, im gonna study for my college there.. sorry if

I didn't told you earlier.." He walked close to her and hugged her tight " Im'

gonna miss you" hugging her tighter..

 

"Im gonna miss you too Kei.. gambatte!" she returned his hug as tears slowly flowed down her

cheeks

 

Kei broke the hug and saw her tearing up, he caressed her face and wiped her tears using

his thumb. He gave her another smile and stare at her for a while before he spoke "will you wait for me?"

 

" Of course I will" she nodded and smile  "let's get back ne?! I'm sure they're waiting for us now" she said

 

Kei nodded then she walked away.

 

'Im so sorry. i hurt you twice today it must be hard for you. It also kills me to see you like this but i dont have a choice, please understand... I'm doing this for the both of us..'

he thought looking at her retrieving figure fading away because of your distance then he heard her yell making him come back to his senses

"Kei  are you coming or what?!'

 

he smiled "yeah coming!!"
