Rooftop
Description
Hi! Sorry but I'm being bothered by this plot. This is common, I know. But I have to post this. The dates are real. They're from my personal experience. I hope you'll follow through. This is just a short story, though. I'm not dropping IHBL guys, not to worry. I just have to get this idea into paper before this bothers me once again. Please let me know your thoughts! (:
NOTE: As of May 20, 2016, I am already editing my past Fan Fictions. There are like a megaton of grammar mistakes! I'm ashamed now!
Foreword
Genre: Short Story
If people only realize how much shorter time is, maybe they're going to maximize every fraction of a second to be sincere and honest enough.
What will you do if your friend broke your favorite phone?
Will you scold them and hate them forever to aid your materialism?
I know, for sure, you will say, "It's okay," no matter how pissed you are.
Why?
Because you don't want to put a dot on your friendship.
It's easy to find a replacement for your favorite phone but it's hard to find someone who can treasure you dearly.
In every relationship, there's always a collateral.
There's always something needs to be sacrificed for it to grow stronger.
But no matter how you conceal reality with naïve reasons, you can never erase the undeniable fact that hiding what you truly feel is never easy.
Yet again, if hiding your real feelings is hard, what more if we are forced to do the exact OPPOSITE of what we want?
The pain is unfathomable.
You will say, "It's okay." even though it's not.
You will say, "No." even if you're craving for a "Yes".
You will say, "I'm glad." even if what you really want to say is, "Why?"
You have to wear a façade everytime you're going to talk to that someone.
You will smile even though it hurts.
You will agree even if the idea is hideous.
If you fell in love with your best friend, you will be doomed for eternity.
What will you choose?
Will you sacrifice a stable friendship for an uncertain relationship?
The sacrifice being asked is not only your favorite phone.
The offer asked isn't a material thing.
You know what you needed to sacrifice?
Your heart.
