Welcome back to Solar Eclipse Exchange & Fest! The first one went well, all had a good time, and there were a lot of fantastic works that came around from it, so Kara and I decided to do it again! Not much has changed from last time, we can never decide if we want to do a fest or an exchange, so we're doing both!

They’re similar in that both involve filling a prompt, however in the exchange you’re writing for someone. Being able to gift a story to somebody is great fun, but we’re aware it’s not for everyone so we’re including the fest side of it too. 

• If you’re a gifter (in the exchange stream) you can request as many prompts/themes as you like and another gifter will fill one of them- so the advantage of being a gifter is requesting a particular prompt, and receiving a prompt you may have never thought of! 
• If you’re a fester you pick 3 prompts from the submitted list and fill the one you’re assigned. It's first come first served as far as preferences go, but if two people have the same #1 preference and the prompt is open enough (that they wouldn't be likely to write the same story) then they'd both get it. 

Unlike last time, we're not going to bother with tumblr asks, and you can simply use the following form to submit as many prompts as you want! [Google Form]

We realise that you may remember something to add to the form after you've already signed up- don’t worry! Just email us at [email protected] and we’ll sort it out. Alternatively, save the link to the form you're filling out and you can come back and edit it until the form is closed :) 

Please note that even if you’re a fester, you may still receive a gift. A requirement of this exchange&fest is that if you receive a gift, you must comment on it, because that’s just manners :)
