Jennie Kim has always been a strong independent woman that dont need no man to complete her. It wasn't that she didnt believe in love, quite the opposite actually. She wants love, she loves love. She just.... dont believe she deserves love. Everytime someone tries to get close to her or date her, alarm bells start ringing and soon enough, she'll self-sabotage the relationship.
Along comes Kim Taehyung. He's funny, straightforward, and a total opposite of her. Still there was something about him that attracted her to him. Well people always said that opposites attract right? Right?
But why then does this feel like it'll have an expiration date?

Foreword
"Are you really going to do this?" Jennie's voice quivered as she tried to hold herself together.
"I want us to work, I really do. But I need you to meet me in the middle here. I don't want you to change who you are, but there's just too many reasons why it can't work between us." Taehyung ran his hands through his hair and sighed, "Look, I can't read your mind. I have been pretty transparent about everything, what irks me, my preferences. I can't always be guessing what you want or need. It's hard on me too."
