Hellen was looking out the window, while thinking of how to interact with Hannah.

“Ms. Gray? ... Ms. Gray!”

The English professor called up Hellen.

“Oh, I’m sorry...”

Hellen responded and she stood up, as the whole class looking at her.

“We’re having a lecture here, be attentive enough! Read page 238...”

The professor glared at her, while holding down her glasses.

“Yes, Ma’am...”

Hellen flipped the pages and read it out loud for the whole class.

“Take your sit now, Ms. Gray. I got my eye on you... don’t get distracted.”

The professor pointed at her, and then the lecture continued.

*“This is so embarrassing...”*

Hellen was looking at her professor, but she’s still not listening at all...

*“What am I doing? I’m thinking too much...”*

She kept a poker face, while ‘fake reading’...

*“If only, I could stop time for a while and ...”*

She sighed deeply and closed her eyes.

*“... I could think of some ideas without...Wait, why is it so quiet suddenly?”*

She opened her eyes and wondered what’s happening.

There was no noise can be heard in the whole school, like it’s been emptied.

She looked out the window and saw the students are not moving, even the ball on air stay still.

Everyone and everything stay still, like they’ve been frozen.

*“Am I dreaming?”*

She pinched herself.

“Ouch! I’m not dreaming... and I can still move.”

She kept on caressing her swollen cheek.

She stood and walked around the classroom.

She touched some of her classmates and her professor.

She can move them, but there’s no reaction from them.

“They are not even breathing... they look like mannequins.”

She scratched her head.

She got out her classroom and went to other classrooms
