After LE got discharged from the hospital, she and Hani moved in together so that it’d be easier for Hani to take care of the older woman. On the day that they moved in together, it was also the day that they are officially dating. LE figured they’ve wasted too much time, and so she asked Hani to be her girlfriend. Hani was more than happy to date LE, and she’s more than happy to be the one taking care of her, even though LE’s parents wanted her to move home just until she recovered. LE promised she’s in good hands and that once she recovers, she’ll visit them.

LE got her cast off two weeks after she got discharged, and she was more than happy to be rid of the cast. It was difficult to walk, it was difficult to move, it was difficult to shower, and most importantly, it was embarrassing to be in the cast because Hani wrote so many stupid things on it. Words like Ahn LE is mine, Do not touch, I broke my leg and all I got was this, If found, return to Ahn Hani, and also drawings of Hani’s hand, birds, rainbows, funny faces, even a shark and her signature. Hani most definitely enjoyed decorating LE’s cast. 

Another two weeks later, LE was fully recovered. Though she was not able to do any extreme sports or activities yet until about six months later, but it didn’t bother her anyway as LE doesn’t like exercising or playing sports. Sometimes they do quarrel, but they usually make up a few minutes later but if they do get into bigger fights that last for more than half a day, LE usually would be the one apologising, whether or not it’s her fault.

The strong sun rays shine through their curtain drapes and Hani was the first to stir. She opened her eyes and closed them again, not wanting to wake up and start the day. After about ten minutes of snoozing, Hani opened her eyes again to find LE snuggling into her neck. She could feel the older woman’s breath and as much as she didn’t want to wake her up, she has to because they are supposed to go to this restaurant where they had their first date and then go grocery shopping together.

“LE, wake up…” Hani whispered, but there was no response from the older woman. 

“Do you want to wake up right now or do I have to bring my water gun in?” At the mention of water gun, LE opened her eyes right away. And yes, Hani had used a water gun which she got from the supermarket as a free gift to spray on her face when she wouldn’t wake up. 

“I’m up!” LE sat up and rubbed her eyes. After which, she leaned in for a hug. 

Their stomachs were growling and so the women got out of their house in twenty minutes. And that’s what hunger does to them, they do their makeup faster, they change faster, they shower faster. Also, some occasional water splashing in the bathroom. 

Once they reached the restaurant, Hani went to the table at the corner and saved them seats while LE went to order their food. Both women frequent the restaurant so often that usually all the ahjumma working there know what they like to eat, even what they have for their side dishes.

Once LE got their order, she walked to the corner where Hani was seated and found a woman who seemed to be openly flirting with the short-haired woman. 

How dare she.

How dare she touch her shoulder.

And how dare Ahn Hani.
