Take me back to the night we met (A JENLISA FANFICTION)

It was Monday morning, and the start of a fresh week, which had lifted Jennie's spirits considerably. She felt optimistic that even though last week had been awful, because of restless days and nights, touring nonstop around the world, writing new music and doing daily interviews. She hadn't had a proper sleep in a long time but last night, new week held so many possibilities, and as she folded the freshly cleaned and dried laundry, the comforting smell of lavender clinging to the thin shirts and towels, She decided to cook for her lunch, she the radio in the kitchen, fitting boxes and cartons into the fridge and cupboards, before she got started on chopping onions for the lasagne, stirring in the minced beef as she absentmindedly listened to the quiet music drifting towards her. It was a nice day today, a slow day, and Jennie closed her eyes, feeling a gust of warm breeze waft in through the windows when her phone started to ring.

Wondering who it was. Rinsing her hands slowly before looking up who's the caller, seeing her manager's registered number. Confused as why her manager is bothering her in this fine day, her tour had finished last week, and it's time for her to rest. She still answered the call anyway,

"Jennie!" Her manager welcomed her with so much excitement on her voice, "I know you're resting but come to the office quickly!"

"Manager-unnie, what is this all about?" Jennie grumbled into the phone,

"Just come here when you're done cleaning up," Her manager told her instead "It's urgent and you'll like the news. I promise." Perking up slightly at her encouraging tone. Jennie decided to agree.

When the line went dead Jennie immediately went back to her business.

The sun was starting to set by the time she had finished cleaning up after herself, and through the large window above the sink, she could see the warm hues of the sunset and felt the urge to go for a walk, feeling restless at her complacency but the meeting with her manager is preventing her.

-

Their company offices were always particularly boring, from the vomit stained maroon carpets to the boring white, cement walls, Jennie couldn't help but feel like she was in prison when she attended various meetings. A table elongated the room, black chairs pushed in only halfway, and a run down fan whirred in the corner of the room. Jennie sighed, glancing over at her manager, who looked extremely pale under the fluorescent light, or maybe she was just going white from the awful stench of whitening soap and lotions. Her manager tapped her french manicured fingernails on the sticky surface of the white table, and she exhaled heavily, obviously annoyed because Jennie was late again, as always.

"You're supposed to be here an hour ago." Her manager said annoyed, averting her eyes to the clock above a water cooler, eying the clock as it ticked slowly.

"I was taking my time," Jennie retorted, crossing her arms over her exposed abdomen, "am I not allowed to have some relaxation after a long tour that ended just a week ago?" Jennie huffed, glad that she was able to vent about her exhaustion.

"Snarky are we? Don't be little miss sunshine," Her manager snorted. Little miss sunshine her nickname that her manager made up whenever she likes to , ever since the day she became a soloist. Jennie had been in music industry for as long as she can remember. She started with a group but now, she's doing solo. "Beside, I already told you that you will like it."

"Alright then," signaling her manager to spill the tea. "Get on with it." Jennie didn't break her pissed off expression,

"Remember that blackpink is invited on upcoming MAMA this year? Jennie, it's only a week from now before the event and I know that you and Jisoo have already made up your minds that you're not going to perform without the others but," Her manager started, and Jennie already didn't like where she was going with this. "I have been informed via Park Chaeyoung's representative that she will be able to perform with you guys and she was hoping that it could change your mind!"

"Is this for real?" Jennie asked, her face turning from stern to shocked in a matter of seconds.

"Yup, and she already catches her flight. She might be here tomorrow."

She hadn't heard anything from her former bandmate for almost fove months, Chaeyoung was rather busy aiming for a degree in college. After their disbandment, Chaeyoung went back in Australia and decided to continue her studies. Jisoo, however, took over her father's company instead of pursuing her career in music industry. Jisoo once told her the reason why, was because, 'I got bored singing and dancing.' were the exact words. But they still see each other when they both have a free time, and Jisoo wasn't bitter about her decision and choices in her life anyway.

And Lisa..

Swallowing the lump in , at the thought of her ex-girlfriend slash former bandmate, Jennie made eye contact with her manager, afraid to ask a question about her ex-girlfriend, "And Lisa?" She asked, her eyes filling with hope.

Her manager shrugged, "Haven't heard anything from her or from her team in Thailand. I tried everything to reach her out, even her team in Nano9an won't say anything." Her manager replied, and then the whole room went silent.

The dreadful moment was there and Jennie was going to face it. She might have thought that she always lost track of time, well she's just fooling herself because she knew when was the last time she'd seen Lisa. It's been five years since their disbandment, five years since the last time she heard her voice, seen her face. It's been five years but she love the girl, still. Her feelings hasn't changed since then. The only thing that has changed was that—she's not scared anymore however, it might have been too late for that.

"But—" Her manager continued, pulling her out of her trance, "After five years of being a leprechaun. She was spotted last night! Look at the pictures!"

Jennie scanned the documents, and her eyes landed on one particular photo. Lisa's face appeared in her eyes. The doe eyes. The now softly curled chestnut hair. Many people called her pretty, but Lisa... Lisa was truly radiant. No doubt having a smile on her face helped with that. And Jennie felt her heart skipped a beat.

"She—uhm..looked so beautiful." Jennie whispers to herself but those words didn't gone unheard from her manager.

"Drooling, aren't we?" Her manager teases, lifting her perfectly waxed eyebrow. "Stop drooling over her, you'll have so much time for that though, take a look closely at those photos. Pay attention on her surroundings."

Jennie shook her head with disbelief, "I shouldn't have told you about her."

Her manager gasped, her hand flying up to her forehead dramatically. "Don't say that," Her manager whined, "I have always supported you!"

Stifling a giggle, she did what her manager asked her to do and her eyes widened at the realization that the photos were taken at the Gimpo Airport.

"I think that she plans to surprise us because that's Lisa we're talking about," Her manager laughed before adding "But paparazzi might have ed her plans,"

The fourth of July took place in Jennie's body, fireworks flashing through her stomach as her vision blurred and she wanted to let her impulses take control at the thought of seeing Lisa again.

-

Jisoo arrived in her apartment early on Thursday morning, her face lighting up at the sight of her best friend waiting on her door, sunglasses on, backpack slung over one shoulder, and her dark hair fluttering around shoulder. Jennie couldn't help but smile as she open the door, Jisoo entered the room, shoving her bag down between her feet and leaning over to wrap Jennie in a hug. An overwhelming feeling of love and safety washed over her, and she allowed herself a few moments of comfort in the embrace of her best friend's strong arms, the smell of her perfume filling her nose as Jennie took in the familiarity of her best friend's scent, before pulling back.

"Girl! I've missed you so much."

"Maybe you shouldn't have taken off on a tour for a month," Jisoo accused her, smiling as she settled her things on the couch.

Jennie rolled her eyes before saying, "Jerk."

"So, how've you been?" Jennie asked, shooting her best friend a quick glance before making her way on the kitchen counter, "Want someting to drink?"

Jisoo turned to give her a smile, "I've been good. Keeping busy. A water would be fine."

"Gotcha."

"So are we going to meet them here or in the studio?" Jisoo asked her, "I can't believe that it's been five years and here we are, finally having our first reunion ever! I swear I'm gonna punch Lisa on her ugly face!" Jisoo ranted while she rested her back on the couch.

Laughing, Jennie ran a hand through her hair, letting her gaze travel to the older girl, "I believe that we have to meet them at the rehearsal."

Jisoo snorted. "I have changed my mind. Let me have a cup of coffee you have there,"

Jennie shaking her head, went through her cabinets to check if she still have enough coffee for the two of them. Just the thought of seeing Lisa again makes her head spin and nervous at the same time. Thinking of Lisa finally coming back made her feel happy and excited, now it unleashed a torrent of feelings. Years before their disbandment, they have broken up both agreeing it's for the best though, nothing really changed except for a few midnight kisses and touches, it made her feel more than happy, but less than safe, blissful, but dangerous. It wasn't the same kind of dangerous as if someone's holding a gun to her head though, it was... a good kind of dangerous. However, everything was out of their control, their disbandment was something they had expected a long time ago but being separated from the other members wasn't really on the plan. They have always talked about keeping in touch with one another but Lisa..Lisa broke their hearts and left them without uttering any words. They don't honestly know anything what has happened to the younger girl, all they know was that, Lisa, perhaps Lisa's team, still manages her collection in Nano9an but Lisa remains hidden for the past years. No one really knows where she went.

No one.

Jennie ended up on making them both a black coffee. Their coffees were soon sitting in front of them, and Jennie carefully measured brown crystals of raw sugar onto her spoon with a brooding look on her face, before stirring it into her

"Okay, what is it?" Jisoo sighed, setting her mug back down onto the white saucer, the spoon rattling against

"What?"

"You've been brooding ever since I got here. You look like you're thinking too hard. I thought we were going to have fun catching up before going to rehearsal and meeting our old smelly best friends."

Jennie blinked in surprise, the slight frown wrinkling her forehead disappearing as her features softened, "I-uh..I'm just really nervous about meeting them and all,"

Shaking her head, Jisoo reached across the table to give her hand a quick squeeze. "I know that you're nervous about seeing her again-" Jennie was about to protest but stopping her attempts when Jisoo added, "I know you do," With a knowing look, "But don't worry. Everything is gonna turn up alright," Jisoo comforted her, "But I'm still gonna punch your ex-girlfriend hard on her goddamn face!."

Laughing, Jennie shook her head at her best friend's remarks, letting her thoughts wander for a moment.

Her relationship with Lisa back then wasn't really a secret, Jisoo and Chaeyoung were well aware of it. There were a times like this, that she will come for Jisoo for a comfort and advice because both of her and Lisa were really terrible at keep up their relationships or perhaps, they were both terrible at doing relationships because they were each other's first. Funny to think that they fell in love and wanting to take care of each other all the time but not realising that they were getting hurt instead. Lisa wasn't perfect and neither Jennie. They have their own flows and bad sides. Jennie was selfish and vain, Lisa was childish at times and egotistical. Lisa acts cool and she thought that she was above all while Jennie, most of the time doesn't care about the younger girl's feelings because she was too busy thinking about her own. They were terrible but they love each other. Jennie loved Lisa so much but she couldn't risk everything they had worked for. They were both adult and just hoping for the best. Jennie wanted her career or perhaps both of their career to be on track. It was always been her dream and she didn't expect to fall in love with someone and it scared the out of her because it might jeopardise her career—both of their career.

At the age of twelve, Jennie was determined to achieve her dreams, she even fought for it to her mom, she cried because she doesn't want to take law or medicine, she doesn't want to do anything of that at all. She wanted to make music and inspire people through her music, through her writings and singing.

Now that she is an up and rising star who annihilated the Billboard charts with her number one single, Life without you. Before she could even blink, she had turned into korean's sweetheart, and all of the cameras were chasing after her. But it wasn't enough and Jennie found that she was starting to get lonely. The only thing taking the edge off was her tour and working in the studio with her manager, writing and expressing her experiences through her songs, otherwise she would've been completely alone.

            "You're brooding again."

Jerking herself out of her thoughts, Jennie shot Jisoo a scowl, slinking down in the couch, and picked up her coffee. "I am not ." Taking a sip of her coffee, she cast Jisoo a quick look, taking in the curl of her smile around the rim of her coffee cup, and let out an exasperated sigh, unable to stop herself from smiling when she realised that she was being a little broody. Sitting up straight, Jennie took a sip of her coffee and set the cup back down, clasping her hands together and leaning towards her best friend. "Fine. Maybe you can take my mind off it. What have I missed?"

Jisoo launched into a story about work, and then another one about her father setting her up on various dates with some prick guys, While Jennie listened attentively, smiling as she listened to everything her best friend had gotten up to. It made her happy to think that Jisoo was trying her best to enjoy her life, instead of wallowing in her regrets - Jennie's current stage of her own process - and she was glad that her best friend was taking the time to go out and enjoy herself. Knowing that somehow made Jennie feel less lost and confused as they spent the morning together, walking through streets as they went into their favourite shops, restaurant, and heading back, before after deciding to went to their rehearsal studio to meet their former bandmates.

"You ready?" Jisoo asked, a thoughtful look on her face as she stared down at her.

"I guess."

-

"Unnie, do you really think that Lisa will show up?" She heard Chaeyoung asked her.

She felt a twinge of nervousness and fear at the doubts that flooding her mind. "I-I really hope so." She answered.

They were sitting on the floor for three hours now. They been catching up with Chaeyoung. Barely even missing a tiny bit of details on each other's life. It's been three hours after the hugging and I missed yous of their fellow bandmate but it's been three hours with no sign of Lisa.

"What if she doesn't?" Chaeyoung queries with a sad tone,

"Lisa surely knows how to make us upset." Jisoo scoffs before standing up, "I'm gonna get something to eat,"

Just as Jisoo was getting ready, the door swung open, and the waves of a high pitched giggle was echoing off the prison-like walls of the room. Jisoo scowled at Lisa, and Chaeyoung did the same, but Jennie was left awestruck, narrowing her eyes at the girls high waisted jeans that made her look better than humanly possible, and a cute crop top that Jennie herself had been admiring the other day.

It was the heartfelt giggle that Jennie hadn't heard in well over five year, but before she'd even had time to raise her eyes to the newcomer's face, she knew what was this feeling. She stared up at Lalisa Manoban.

Lisa stood at ease, one hand on her stomach and the other resting. Her face was unexpectedly tanned, making her hair appear ludicrously fair and drawing a veil over the pale, pointy lady she'd been when they'd last met. The years seemed to have treated her well. There were a few creases around her eyes and her skin stretched taut over cheekbone and jaw in a way it hadn't done at nineteen, but otherwise she hadn't changed much.

Lisa was giggling at something their manager was telling her before acknowledging their presence,

"Sorry we're late," Her manager said through the straw of her Sonic straw, "We had to stop somewhere and get food, Lisa was just doing a shoot for Nanogan."

"It was awesome to be back at modelling," Lisa exclaimed, raising her eyebrows with her smile as she stood up directly across from Jisoo. And Jisoo didn't break her pissed off expression

The room went silent. Lisa just stood there like nothing has changed, she stood there like she used to when she'd be thinking of something funny to pull off to her friends. Lisa stood there confidently, almost shining and perfect not until— "You piece of !" Jisoo tackled her on the ground, punching and tickling the younger girl playfully.

"Jisoo-unnie, please don't kill me!"

"Five years, Lisa?! Five years?! You owe us an apology!"

"Yah! I'm sorry, i'm sorry!"

Jennie found herself laughing while Chaeyoung had joined the two on the floor. It makes her heart melt at the sight of them. She almost forgot the times like this, when they were just fooling around during rehearsals. She missed it. She really does.

"Girls, try not to kill her before MAMA okay? I'll be going now, need to run some errands today." Her manager announces and sent her a wink before walking out.

Wondering what was the wink for,

"Jennie-unnie! Jennie-unnie!" Ears pricking at the sound of her name being called.

Jennie's eyebrows rose slightly in surprise as she heard Lisa calling her name, Lisa was struggling to get up since the other two were on top of her body, trying to make her still, "Hefadhfk—" then Jisoo covered to prevent her from talking.

Jennie laughed. Her heart was beating so hard on her chest right now, just hearing Lisa saying her name like that will surely be the death of her.

"Stop struggling, Limario! Let me have our revenge." Jisoo said, while giving Lisa a sharp look, Jennie took a step forward thinking of maybe helping the poor girl but Jisoo sent her a death glare, "Don't even think about it." Jisoo threatened her.

Jennie put her hands on the air, pretending that she just caught from something illegal, shook her head and stifle a laugh "Chaeyoung, I thought you don't support violence." She told her but Chaeyoung just added a weight on Lisa's poor body before saying, "This is justice, Unnie." Chaeyoung responded while laughing.

The clouds hide the sun, leaving a grey sky glooming over outside the building, but today is a fine day, it was full of shared laughter, longing embrace and emotions, crying and happiness because they finally have Lisa again.

-

Another day passes. Jennie doesn't dread seeing Lisa, not really, but seeing her without being able to talk to her freely is becoming more and more painful since the younger girl is always accompanied. She relies on Chaeyoung for good company, and Jisoo often invites herself to their conversations.

They have learned that Lisa took an accelerated course program in France and went travelling around the world for two years. She's been in so many countries and decided to take a break for a while. When she's asked why she had cut them off for five years Lisa just went silent. The silence that telling them that she doesn't want to talk about it.

It's the last day of their rehearsal and they been doing great as expected, it's the last , last finishing and everyone will finally be able to rest.

When the music had stopped and they did their final pose. Everyone cheered and laughed at one another.

"Finally!" Jisoo cheered before wiping the sweats on her forehead.

Lisa was about to grab her water when Jennie called her. It was a long and tiring day for them.

"Lisa-ya" The said girl turned her head and facing Jennie. She raised her eyebrows as she drank her water, while waiting for Jennie to continue. "Can we have a talk after this? You know, just us."

Lisa thought for awhile. It's been awhile since the both of them had a talk, like just the two of them. Maybe it such a good idea. Maybe after this talk they could get close with each other again, as a bestfriend, like they used to.

"Sure. Where at?"

"At my place?"

"Okay then. I want to shower first." Lisa said as she grabbed her bag and went to the bathroom.

A big, relief sigh slipped out from Jennie's mouth as she watched her bandmate disappeared in the bathroom. She didn't realize that she's been holding her breath when asking Lisa that question. It just an invitation for a common talk, but it felt like it was a love confession.

Well, maybe.

She wanted to clear everything with Lisa and maybe get her back again. It was when suddenly someone tapped her shoulder. It's Jisoo.

"Chaeyoung and I wanted to have a slumber party at my place. You and Lisa will join us, I haven't told Lisa though, where is she?."

"Pass." Jennie said as Jisoo raised her eyebrows, waiting for her reason. "I'm going to have a talk with Lisa in my place after this. But I don't know if she wants to come with you guys. You can ask her—"

"Nope. I won't ask her." Now it's Jennie's who looked at her confusedly. "This is your chance, Jen, to have your 'relationship' back. I know what talk you both are going to have. Whatever the results are, I wil always be here for you." Jisoo hugged her tightly.

"Thanks, Jichuu, you really are the best."

"Say something I don't know." Jisoo said as she flipped her hair and it made both of them laughed afterwards. "Okay. I'll go first before Rosé starts throwing fits at me. Bye, and good luck too!"

"Tell Chaeng that I'm sorry we can't join you guys. Next time, we sure we will." Jennie half-shouted at her best friend who made an 'ok' sign with her finger as she walked away. She shook her head with a grin still on her lips, while grabbing her bags and went to the bathroom.

Minutes later both of them finished and were on their way to Jennie's place. There were silence engulfed both of them, except the music from the radio that kept playing. Until it played Life without you. Jennie honestly didn't know how's Lisa's thought about this song, so she glanced at the thai girl only to found her fingers drummed on the steerwheel while humming the song.

"I like this song. It's good." Lisa suddenly said.

"Thanks." It's about you.

And with that, they fell into silence again. Until they finally arrived in front of her place. Jennie pulled off the break then got off from the car, followed by Lisa. Just when she's about to go inside, her phone rang.

"Hello, mom?" Jennie said. "I'm in front of my place now, why? Where are you? Oh, I'm with Lisa now... okay then, I will. Bye mom!"

"Your mom?" asked Lisa when Jennie took out the key from her bag and unlock the door.

"Yep. She said she wanted me to come home tomorrow. For a family dinner." Lisa nodded her head. "Come in." Lisa walked inside while Jennie closed the door. "What do you want to drink?"

"Umm.. do you have a wine? I kinda want to drink that now." Lisa knew that they both were alone in that house. And Lisa completely knew what would happen if wine included in that talk they both would have. But she also knew that maybe wine could help.

"Okay. Make yourself at home. I'll go get the wine."

Lisa nodded while watching Jennie disappeared in the kitchen. She looked around the living room. It's been awhile since she's been there, let alone with the girls or her family. When Jennie came with two bottles of wine and two glasses on the other hand. She put them on the coffee table, before sat next to Lisa.

"Let me pour it for you." Lisa said as she grabbed the bottle and poured it into her and Jennie's glass.

"Thanks." Jennie said shortly. She accepted the glass from Lisa before held it higher, signaled the other girl to make a toast.

Both of them chuckled while the glass made a 'clang' sound. Jennie drank her wine until the glass was empty while Lisa eyeing her. "You like wine that much or you just so thirsty?"

"Both." Said Jennie as she watched Lisa finished her drink. "So, how are you?"

Jennie felt stupid for her own question. After all those times, the first question that slipped from was a 'how are you?'. To make it sound more ridiculous, they've just catched up and always together lately, which was obviously Jennie knew the answer. When Jennie wanted to change her question to a more specific one, Lisa answered.

"Great, as you can see." Lisa answered. "After travelling places to places, I feel amazing."

Jennie takes a moment to observe Lisa, beautiful with her messy, wavy hair, doing her best to realize that this is not a dream. Lisa does the same, looking at Jennie to take it all in, doing her best to make sure she remembers this until her last breath.

"How..how about you?" Lisa asks, "I mean, I know you're doing solo now. But how are you really?" Lisa added, trying her best to make some sense.

"I don't know," Jennie swallowing her drink, "I really don't know." Nervously laughing, Jennie ducked her head down, fiddling with her wine glass as she tried to escape Lisa's intense stare.

"And why is that?" Lisa queries, "I can see that you're doing amazing,"

Jennie let out a small chuckle, before grabbing the bottle and drank the wine straight from the bottle, it made the younger girl to looked at her amusedly. Lisa glanced at her glass. She didn't even have her second glass, yet Jennie already finished half of the bottle.

Instead of answering her question, Jennie laughed. She laughed very hard, before took a big gulp of her wine. By that time, Lisa started to wonder if Jennie was still sober.

"Are you seeing anyone right now?" Jennie she blurted out the question in her mind before she could stop herself, freezing with open as she felt the blood rush to her face, turning bright red.

"I'm not seeing anyone," Lisa said, biting her lip as she tried not to smile, "But I met someone, and he's been my travel buddy ever since, he just confesses his feelings before I went here to Seoul."

Jennie feels the blow to her heart. She coughs the emotion away. She says nothing; there is nothing to say. And her eyes filled with water, trying her best not to cry in front of Lisa.

Silence. Neither of them spoke. Jennie drank her wine more, while Lisa finishing her second glass. Lisa looked at the older girl, before finally broke the silence.

"Not something you're expecting, I guess?" Jennie seems genuinely taken aback by the question, ''Of course not.'' On the contrary, she thinks.

Jennie decided to pour another wine on her glass and drank it, while Lisa seemed thinking about Jennie's question for awhile. Seeing anyone? Oh, is it maybe—

Just when Lisa about to say something, Jennie beat her. "Is he good? Does he treat you well? If he makes you happy, then I'm happy for you."

"Why are you saying this?" Lisa raised her eyebrows confusedly.

"Because I still love you, Lisa." Jennie admitted nervously, "And seeing you again was the best thing has ever happened to me in the passed years, I have never hope for anything but to see you, your eyes, your pretty smile." She continues, voice breaking, "I have never hope for anything but to hear your laugh, and it never fails to brighten up my day."

Silence. Lisa didn't dare to speak. And it's killing Jennie.

"I-I want you back..but you already have someone now,"

Lisa was about to deny that, but once again the older girl beat her.

"It hurts like crazy, Oh God, I couldn't even breathe properly right now," Jennie told her while her tears started to fall down. Jennie cried, because with Lisa, she left the vices and virtues of being a famous music artist in the dusk, and indulged in her own personal tranquility.

"You kept interrupting me, you kept assuming things," Lisa commented, attempting to spark up a conversation. "He confessed his feelings but I didn't accept them because I do still love you,"

Sighing, Lisa reached over to give her shoulder a quick squeeze, almost like a silent reassurance that they were both in this together. Jennie's eyes widened, and her lips part slightly, but then she shuts again, she could feel her heart jumping at the sudden confession.

"But love is something beautiful, it shouldn't make you want to curl up in a ball and die," Lisa answered, and closes her eyes like shielding them away from a sun. "I'm going back to Thailand after this, Jennie, and you're an idol. We can't be together."

Jennie froze. She didn't know what to say since her brain still processing what her ex-girlfriend just said. Her world crumbling down, heart tightening, clenching so tight that she couldn't even breathe.

"Lisa..I-"

"Being in a relationship with you has never been easy but I don't regret it," Lisa continues, "Being able to stay in love with you after so many years is something that made me realise that I'm a fighter, that I don't give up easily because we both know that finding love with the life we both have, was something difficult, we were under spotlight, judgments and sorrow but I'm glad because I found you."

Lisa finally met eyes with Jennie, "But I don't want to be with you, not now." Lisa said, her voice breaking, "Because I don't want to go back to the spotlight, Jennie. It blinded me, it gave me so much pain that you couldn't even imagine."

Now they were both sobbing, understanding one another. Because Jennie thought that Lisa was right, this time. Lisa was right. Jennie pulled Lisa into a warm embrace, a few moments of just holding each other when Lisa decided to break the hug and brushes her fingers under Jennie's chin to close the distance between them.

For the first time in years, Jennie's lips met Lisa's glossy and puffy ones, indulging in pure innocent love. The kiss was sweet and slow, bringing them together again for the first time in forever. Metaphorical fireworks exploded in Jennie's tongue, and a sea of satisfaction washed over her entire body as she reunited with the one thing she had ever lost.

Lisa pulled back, the extreme amount of joy causing her to laugh, "I love you, and I'll be waiting for you." Lisa admitted once again.

Jennie, eyes fill with water as she says, "I love you too, and I'll come and find you."
