"Hey, you alright?" Chaeyoung asked as she passed the glass of water to Lisa.

Lisa smiled but it wasn't her usual happy smile. Chaeyoung exactly knew it because she was her best friend for a reason,

"What's wrong?" Chaeyoung said as she sat beside Lisa.

Lisa closed her eyes and sighed because something was bugging her and it was making her curious. She drank the glass of water infront of her.

"It's Jennie."

Chaeyoung looked Lisa ans whispered, "What about Jennie? Did she say something to you?"

Lisa shook her head and said, "Not to me,"

Chaeyoung looked confused and asked her to tell her in detail so Lisa said everything that she heard a few days ago after their first date.


Lisa carried Jennie's phone and rushed out from the cab as she started to walk towards Jennie's house. As she was approaching, she saw Jennie and Nayeon talking about something outside. She could have interrupted them but Jennie's word caught her attention.

"Even if I cannot be her permanent girlfriend, let me be her temporary."

Nayeon stared Jennie for some time and said,
"But you have to tell her, Jennie. What will happen to her if you suddenly leave? She has to know..."

Jennie already had tears on her eyes but she wiped it and said, "I'm not telling her...I don't want to hurt her."

Lisa hid herself behind the big oak tree beside Jennie's house as she eavesdrop on their conversation.

"She'll hurt more if you go on like this. You even have to tell your friends, Jennie. If you won't, I will tell them. I won't hesitate because they deserve the truth." Nayeon voice sounded so serious that even Lisa felt herself shivering.

Jennie was shocked by it but she said the last word, "Do what you want."

Lisa heard the main gate opening and closing so she peeked a little bit and saw that only Nayeon was standing there with her brows furrowed with frustration. She understood that Jennie must have gone inside already. She watched Nayeon going in her car and driving away.

She felt heavy because of the conversation they shared.

What is it? Jennie is leaving?

She was more curious.


Chaeyoung patter Lisa's head and said,
"You should ask her about it."

"How can i ask her directly? She isn't even ready to tell me and I have no guts to tell her that I overheard her conversation with Nayeon."Lisa sighed.

"Where do you think she is leaving? It's such a mystery."

"And it's more frustrating that she will leave me....I just got hold of her. I want to know what they were talking."

"Maybe she'll tell you soon...For now, don't overthink." Chaeyoung said as she held Lisa's hand.

Lisa smiled back and intertwined their hands and was thankful because of Chaeyoung. She felt at ease due to her.

"I love you, Chaeng."

Lisa said to her best friend and her savior.

Chaeyoung was stunned for a moment but she shrugged it off and smiled back with a little hint of nervousness,

"I knew that devil had an eye for you," Jisoo said to Jennie as they walked together carrying their shopping bags. Jisoo had insisted to go shopping and Jennie wanted to make it upto her and say her that she's dating Lisa. Irene, Seulgi and Wendy could join them later for lunch.

"Yah, why are you calling her devil?" Jennie said as she stopped in front of the branded clothing shop and went inside, Jisoo following her.

"Because she's our juinor and daebak, she charmed my best friend and now she's your girlfriend. It's amusing." Jisoo said as she also started to scan the branded cloths.

Jennie sighed as she looked through the newly arrived hoodies and remembered how Lisa likes wearing them. So she took out a light blue hoodie with a small caption 'unicorn' in it. She knew for sure that she should buy this for Lisa.

"Hey, is this nice?" Jennie asked as she showed it to Jisoo.

Jisoo nodded her head, " It is nice but isn't it too big for you?"

"It's for Lisa."Jennie said as she held the hoodie and walked towards the counter.

"Daebak... I didn't expect in my early life to see the Jennie Kim buying clothes for her lover....Heck I didn't even thought you'd date." Jisoo said as she watched Jennie paying for the hoodie and carrying the bag.

"Why is it so unbelievable?" Jennie rolled her eyes.

"I kind of knew that you liked her but wasn't so sure that you'll be more thand friends. I've seen you reject guys before and it was always heart breaking to see the boys crying in the corner." Jisoo said as she remembered that one time when Jennie coldly rejected Sungkyu and later found him crying inside the girls restroom. It was questioning to Jisoo as why did he choose the girls restroom but she found out that he was so heart broken that he didn't know where he was going, so that ended up being in the girls restroom.

"I didn't like boys at the first place."Jennie said to her.

"That's true but you didn't date girls too. Sooyoung sunbae wanted to court you but you rejected her too. She was like the most popular sunbae...I'm surprised at how you agreed to date Lisa ."Jisoo said as they stood in front of the food court to wait for their other friends.

"Lisa is different. I realize that i like her a lot, chu." Jennie admitted to her with a smile.

"I'm glad that you see her differently. I hope you guys are happy." Jisoo said as she smiled back at her.

They saw Irene, Seulgi and Wendy walking towards them so they waved their hands. Wendy and Seulgi were arguing about something as usual and Irene was already fed up with them.

"What are you two arguing about again?" Jennie asked as she frowned at them.

Wendy looked Jennie and told, "I don't even know why this dumb bear is angry. All I know is that Hyunnie squeezed my and the next thing, Seulgi is complaining about my ."

Jisoo chuckled at it and eyed Irene, more like teased and got hit on her arm. Jennie shook her head at them.

"I mean...why does her have to be so squeezy? Joohyun never does that to me" Seulgi pouted.

Jennie wondered where she found these dorks, who are fighting for the most nonsense thing in the world.

Jisoo came beside Seulgi and squeezed her ,
"There you go, don't be jealous. I'll squeeze your ."

Jennie just ignored them and started to walk away from these weird people. Irene followed her too acting like she didn't know her friends, embarrassing friends.

"Why are they so embarrassing?" Jennie mumbled to Irene.

"I wonder the same...I can't be with them out in public."

"Why did you even squeeze Seungwan's in the first place?" Jennie glared the girl.

Irene threw her hands up in the air and said,
"It's not my fault that it's so squeezy and attractive."

Jennie laughed at it and said, "Joohyun, I know for the fact that you like girls but to be more specific, do you like Wendy?"

Irene turned red all of the sudden and slowly nodded her head, "Yes...what about you?"

"Romantically?"Jennie asked her and Irene nodded her head waiting for the answer.

"Of course not, Irene. I just like her because she's my best friend."

"I thought you guys had something going on. You two are always together." Irene said as she looked back to see whether the three are following them or not.

"So you were jealous. Don't be, I'm dating someone else by the way." Jennie said while laughing.
