Minho settled on his swivel chair, staring at his cell phone and debating whether to call Sulli or not. He jumped when the phone rang. Was it her? Nope. It was Yoona. "Hello Yoona?" "Hello to you, too. I heard about yesterday. Is Sulli's father okay?" Asked Yoona. "I haven't heard the latest." Minho told her. "But the doctors were pretty positive yesterday." "That's good." Said Yoona. "I'll call her later." "So, why am I getting the honor of this call?" Asked Minho. "Your brother, as expected, can't go to the food tasting this Friday." Yoona said with exasperation. "Yeah, he told me this early morning. And yes, I'm going instead." Said Minho. His brother seemed to think that his work in the family corporation was a piece of cake so he liked to dump extra work on him and a few personal tasks as well but Minho didn't mind this one though. After all, he was his brother's best man. "Wonderful!" Exclaimed Yoona. "Which means you and Sulli are going. I can't go myself. I and your sister are going to Daegu." "What business you and my sister have in Daegu?" Asked Minho but then a slow wide grin grew on his attractive face as it dawned on him what the situation meant. His lucky stars were literally shining on him. - - - - "I have a friend in Daegu. She said doing the flowers on my wedding will be a boost to her resume." Yoona explain to Sulli for the latest situation. "She started her flower arrangement business two years ago. She's really very good with flower arrangements and she promised me that I could have all the orange blossoms I want. So I'm going to Daegu to see her flower farm and her shop this Friday." "Should I reschedule with Chef Kim then?" Asked Sulli, wondering if that was possible. Chef Kim was one of the busiest chefs in the area. It was fortunate that he was able to squeeze them in his schedule for the food tasting with short notice. "That would be pushing our luck too much." Yoona remarked. "We'll keep the appointment. I want to know what Minho thinks. So, it will be you and him. Do tell what you honestly think Sulli. I will really appreciate it." "Ehh, me and Minho?" Sulli could barely speak. She was torn between dismay and anticipation? God, hopefully, not the latter! "Yes, Minho has a refined palate. He enjoys food. I trust his judgment." It was ridiculous how her life was acquiring a movie-like quality, which the wedding planner was unwittingly pushed together by the bride while she attended to other concerns. Not that Sulli intends to fall in love with Minho. Truly, she doesn't. It's just that she would rather work closely with Yoona like her previous clients. Are you sure that's the reason? Asked a voice from somewhere deep inside her. Great! A voice inside her. She was becoming schizophrenic. "Okay." Said Sulli. She couldn't really say, 'No, I don't want to go with your fiancé because... well, because he's a walking temptation!', could she? "I'll email you for the table placements later. Let me know what you think." "I will. Thanks Sulli." Replied Yoona. "I wish your dad a fast recovery." "No problem. Have a safe trip to Daegu. And thank you." Sulli hung up her phone and sighed. "What am I gonna do now?" She whispered softly. - - - - Sehun picked Sulli up and drove her to the hospital. Her father's condition was stable enough to allow the visitors but he wasn't looking forward to spending the next few weeks in a hospital bed after his surgery. "What am I going to do? I will be bored to death!" Sulli's father sighed in frustration. "Honey, just be grateful you are in a position to get bored." His wife firmly told him, her eyes telling him what it could have been if the situation went the other way. "Believe me, I am grateful." He said squeezing her hand and quit his whining. "So Sehun, how's Japan?" Her mother asked, seeking to shift the serious mood to a lighter one. Sehun was sent to Japan for his work proposal for a couple of months. He told them he loved Japan so much. Other than working, there were so many places to go and see. They were all engrossed in Sehun's story that they didn't notice the tall figure standing in the doorway with a bouquet of flowers in his hand. Minho surveyed the scene in the hospital room. Sulli's mother was perched on her husband's bed holding his hand while they listened to a man sitting with Sulli on a bench at the foot of the bed. Someone, Minho noted with narrowed eyes, he was absolutely not Sulli's brother. The said man, he had his arm around her shoulder and was absently rubbing his thumb on her arm. Minho's hands clenched, crushing the stem of the bouquet in his hand. It took him immense control not to stalk towards them and grab Sulli. Minho knew he had no right to. But, damn, he really would like to thump the guy down. Taking a deep cleansing breath, Minho assumed a neutral expression and rapped on the door. "Oh Minho! Come in." Sulli's mother welcomed him with a smile. "Honey, this is Minho." "So, you are the infamous Minho." Sulli's father welcomed him with a smile of his own. "My wife told me about what you did for Sulli. Everyone is talking about you. Thank you very much." "Nothing to it sir. I'm happy to help." Said Minho with a polite greeting. He looked around for a place to set the flowers. His eyes flicked towards the bench to check if the unidentified man's arm was still around Sulli. And it was. Minho resisted the urge to growl. "Sulli, do take the flowers." Said her mother and Sehun nudged her to move as well. Sulli was frozen in her seat when she caught sight of Choi Minho in a white shirt with a light blue sweater over it. He was in jeans displaying his tight buns and long legs. As always, she fought the urge to drool. "Hello." She smiled at him. "They're beautiful. Thank you." "Hi." Minho dipped his head, relieved that Sulli had extricated herself from the stranger's hold. "They say red symbolizes healing so I picked up assorted red flowers on purpose." Sehun stepped forward to introduce himself as Sulli placed the flowers by the window. "I'm Oh Sehun, the ex-boyfriend of Sulli." He said, winking at Sulli. Sulli shook her head and glared at Sehun. He was fishing for information, testing Minho's reaction. Sehun liked to analyze people's expressions and body language. "Choi Minho." Minho took Sehun's offered hand politely. Ex-boyfriend? Minho didn't like the familiarity between Sulli and her ex. It wasn't something he would like to see more of. Clearly, he couldn't stay longer. He didn't want to act like an in front of Sulli's parents. Because that's what's going to happen if he see more of that thumb rubbing action. "I just came to drop the flowers off. I hope your surgery goes well and recover soon sir." Said Minho and he made his farewells. "I'll walk you to the elevators." Said Sulli and she fell in step beside him as they made their way out. "I'm sorry I didn't get to see you out last night. Thank you for, er, ensuring I was in bed and locking up." Minho nodded in acknowledgement of her thanks. "Did you sleep well?" He asked, studying her face intently. Various emotions were assailing him. Possessiveness, desire, frustration, knowing that he had no right over her like he wanted to have. He wasn't sure what to do with the mixture of feelings. His face remained expressionless. "Yes, I did." Replied Sulli. His usually smiling face was hard and indecipherable. She wondered what made it so. She had gotten used to the light in his eyes and his killing smile. "You want to go back with me?" Asked Minho. "Huh, oh it's okay." Sulli shook her head. He really was a sweet man, she mused. "Sehun will be driving me home later." Her car was still at the Choi mansion since the house tour yesterday. "I see." Said Minho as his eyes shuttered. "I'll have someone to bring your car tomorrow." "Okay. Thank you." Said Sulli as the elevator doors opened. She didn't know why, but she felt as if there was something she needed to say. She was torn between wanting him to stay and wanting him to go. "I'll call you." Said Minho and stepped inside. Their eyes locked while they waited for the doors to close. His, were unfathomable and hers, were confused. The doors closed. Both went on their separate ways, plagued by confusion and unknowingly sharing the same prominent feeling....an ache in their hearts. - - - - Friday "So, we both agree that the reception can be a mix of traditional and western. Such as bulgogi, marinated barbecue beef strips, galbi, marinated short ribs, Mandu. Also the popular ones are a light broth boiled from dried anchovies and vegetable soups." Said Sulli and as she looked up, Minho entered his living room from the kitchen. Her breath momentarily left her. She wondered when she would stop reacting the way she did with him. Frequent difficulty breathing couldn't be good. The man was seriously bad for her health. Choi Minho looked absolutely handsome in a gray colored roll up casual shirt, a black straight fit pants, and black leather loafers. The roll up sleeves of his shirt revealed the hard muscles of his arms. His straight fit pants couldn't hide his well shaped legs. Sulli had to look away to get a hold of herself, otherwise, she was pretty sure she
