The Longing

In Heaven

"Hyung"

I looked up to soon see the guys entering from the hallway as I was in the kitchen preparing some food for.. the girl whose name I didn't know yet

"Hey, did it go well?" I asked

"It's not gonna be that expensive but we need to close down for a few days. They'll have it done by Friday so I guess we'll just keep it closed until then" Yunho said

"Friday? Will it seriously take them 5 days to change that ?" I asked a bit disbelievingly

"They needed to order new windows and wait for it to be delivered.." Yoochun explained

I sighed and nodded. I guess I couldn't blame them. Well that means that we would have five days off. Maybe some paperwork needs to be done but other than that, I think it would be nice with a little vacation and a break from the coffeeshop.

"Hey.. is she okay? Did you talk to her yet?" Junsu asked

I nodded

"She seems... to be fine which is a little weird. She fell through the roof and she doesn't even seem to be hurting right now. She even got out of bed without flinching at the pain that the accident might have caused her" I said a bit confused

"She didn't get a check up did she?" Yunho asked

"No and I saw the wound. She was bleeding and had lost blood and yeah... the glass must have cut her really deep or something" I said

"Where is she now?" Changmin asked

"She's in the restroom. Cleaning up. Uhm.. she doesn't have any clothes so I borrowed her my favorite dress shirt" I chuckled

The guys smiled

"So you're giving her food and then taking her home?" Yoochun asked

"That's the plan"

"But how did she even end up at the roof and also, she didn't smell any alcohol so she couldn't have been drunk last night. You think she was having a fight on the roof or something?" Junsu asked

"I... tried to ask her to be honest.. but she didn't answer me" I said

"Maybe we shouldn't.. it might be private" Yunho said

"But you don't fall through the ceiling and landing inside a coffeeshop wounded like that. Seriously, she could have died" I said

The guys fell silent and I was about to open the mouth to say something else when she suddenly appeared in the doorway looking around a bit curiously

"Hey!" She smiled

All the guys stood up and greeted her awkwardly, not really knowing what to say. Understandable. We didn't even knew the girl

"Uhm.. it looks weird doesn't it?" She asked embarrassed, referring to her in my dresshirt

"Uhm.. no no.. It looks nice. How's your wound?" I asked

"It's sore but better. So this is how a kitchen looks like"

"What was that?" I asked since I think I heard the wrong thing

She wandered around the kitchen looking at the stove, microwave and the design as she smiled happily. To judge by the looks of it, seems like she had never been in a kitchen before

"Uhm.. hungry?" Yunho asked, breaking the awkward silence

"Yeah! What's for breakfast?" She asked happily

I looked at Yoochun who was standing across the room, staring at her

"Hyung, you're sure it's the same girl who got wounded yesterday? It's like it never happened" Junsu whispered to me

I shrugged not knowing what to say

"Eggs, toast, juice and fruits?" Yunho said as he put the bowl and plate down on the table, letting her taking the seat next to it and Yunho sat down as well

"You're eating too?" She asked and looked at us

I coughed awkwardly as I prepared food for everyone and we sat down by the table and started to eat

"What's.. your name?" Junsu asked

"Mi Na" She said

"Oh.. I'm.. uhm.. Junsu, this is JaeJoong, Changmin, Yunho and Yoochun" Junsu introduced us

She nodded

"Nice to meet you all. Thank you for taking care of me and thank you for helping. You've been very kind" She smiled

"Of course.. when someone is in need like that it is hard to ignore" I said awkwardly

She smiled

"So what are the plans for today?" She asked

"Pp p p lans?" I stuttered, almost choking myself with the egg in the throat

"Yes! I've seen this cool area. Uhm.. very young people plays around there I think. It's inside this huge building and I've never been inside it. Passed it so many times but never had the opportunity to actually visit it" She explained

"Young people? Building?" Changmin asked

"Yes.. They have clothes.. displaying in the windows!" She said

"Oh... you mean the mall?" Changmin said

"Yes! It's that what its called? Mall?"

"Yes.." I said weirdly, looking at her confused

She didn't know what it was called and she had never been inside a mall before? Where was she from? A deserted island?

"You don't need to go home first and get some clothes or something? We actually have things to do.." I mumbled quietly

The smile on her face disappeared and disappointment along with a bit depression was shown on her face and I instantly regretted that I had turned it down

It seems like the guys noticed it too cause they were shifting positions in their seat not knowing what to say

"Uhm.. how about we take you home first so you can get some proper clothes and then Jae Hyung take you to the mall and we'll do the work?" Yoochun suggested

I stared at Yoochun, almost annoyed and angry for setting me up with this girl who I didn't know and certainly didn't want to get to know yet. I didn't feel like going shopping and most of all, I didn't have a good feeling about any of this

"That sounds terrific! Thanks!" She smiled

I glared at Yoochun who smiled innocently and shrugged. Why does he have to be so nice towards girls?

After the food Mi Na decided to help Changmin and Junsu to clean the table and do the dishes and I went back inside my room. As I entered, I saw the bed was neatly folded and set, even the pillows and other stuff around in my room was cleaned. I saw her beautiful dress lying at the end of the bed, still with the blood stain on it.

I walked over and towards it, looking at it for some time and then my eyes started to look around in the room, only to stop by the piano of mine with the notes at the other side of the room. Slowly I walked towards it and looked at it, feeling a knife cutting through the heart as the need, the endless need of wanting to play but the fingers just didn't seem to listen to me. It was like that part of me was gone, vanished and destroyed and now the piano was just a mere memory. A fading one that is..

I sighed as I looked at it, seeing my writing, notes and compositions and I wondered how long has it been ever since I felt the soft keys on the piano, the smooth sound I was able to create and the joy of playing filling my thoughts and my mind.

"You play?"

I spun around and looked at her as she tilted her head to the side and looked at me curiously.

"I used to" I mumbled and walked away

Away from the memories and away from the longing..
