For once I was able to relax in my quarters after finishing all of my work. The head maid was in a good mood, so she didn't assign me to any more exhausting physical labor. I had just managed to drag myself up the stairs and flop onto the bed when someone knocked at the door.

I groaned. "What is it?" I said, my voice being somewhat muffled by my face being buried in the sheets.

"The Prince has requested you." The voice said.

It was nearly 10 o'clock at night, what did he need me for?!

I sat up, "Is he in his chamber?" I asked, rubbing my eyes to try and wake myself up some more.

"Yes, he's waiting for you."
