She tosses and turns in her bed, trying to get some sleep but frustratingly, her mind doesn't want to surrender just yet. Numbness in her eyes is fighting with her brain that keeps on working, absorbing whatever occurs to her lately.   "Aissshh, why it is so hard to stop thinking for a while?!" she groans.   Turning her body to her left, she then finds herself staring at a group of small rectangular yellow mini packs laying on her study desk next to the bed.   "One, two, three, four, five.....," she silently counts. She keeps on focusing on them, somehow hypnotised and by the yellow objects towards a past dimension, where she is back to a familiar surrounding. The spot where she got those little things at the first place.... at the bus stop near her workplace.   "Hey, you know what? Take one of these candies, eat it while you are on your way back on the bus..... at least it will keep you company for a couple of minutes, okay?" a man's voice can be heard uttering those.   As she looked to her right side, she saw a hand with a candy in its opened palm. She scanned his face which has a gesture for her to take it but when she keeps on hesitating, he swiftly grabbed it with his other hand and put it inside her winter coat's pocket. Only when she finally boarded the bus and left the place after a minutes or so, she finally took it out from her pocket and take a good look at the candy. It was a gummy honey lemon sweet, with a jar of honey and a slice of lemon pictures on the wrapper.   She kept them back in her pocket, despite his intention for her to swallow it up straight away. And her mind would then drifted back to their conversation, or more like his side of stories.   Day by day, she kept on getting the same thing from him that she ended up having five of them by the end of the week.   Five days of feelings safe instead of walking alone in the middle of the darkness night. Even though it's only for a little while, she is grateful.   It does create a warm feeling in her heart but no matter how pleasant it is, she doesn't think she's worth them all. Why on earth he keep being all nice to her when all she could offer is silence and distance? She is touched by his effort but at the same time she doesn't want to owe him much longer, she can't afford to reciprocate his feeling. The longer they stay like this, the more guilty she feels towards him.
