Heechul entered the hospital carrying a big flower bouquet with balloons attached to it and several gift bags.

"Excuse me, excuse me, thanks..." He walked clumsily around the halls until he reached the room he wanted.

"Look who's here!" A cheerful man around Heechul's age pointed at him while a young boy ran over.

"Uncle!" The young boy, still in his kindergarten uniform hugged Heechul in a very sweet way

"Just look at how big you are! You grew a lot!" Heechul placed down all the stuff he was holding to carry the kid.

"Uncle! I love you!" The boy squeezed Heechul's face

"My, my, Yesung, Uncle must be tired"

"Nahhhh! It's ok!" Heechul piggybacked his nephew in a playful way

"What's all that?" Yesung pointed at the flowers

"Those are for your mom! And these... are for you and your siblings!" Heechul showed the gifts to the preschooler

"Awesome!!" Yesung went down and started unwrapping one of the presents his uncle gave him

"Hey hey hey buddy! We have talked about this earlier! What do you say?" Heechul's brother scolded his son

"Sorry... thank you, uncle!" Yesung hugged Heechul again

"So... where is the proud mother?" Heechul smiled naughtily to his brother who replied with a serious face and asked him to speak privately away from the kid.

"She is fast asleep at the recovery room. This time... it was harder than the usual... things didn't go as planned"

"Oh... everything all right? Where is my new nephew?" Heechul worried. He had seen his brother's face before when his children were born and somehow now, it didn't look right.

"They are still being tested since they were born before the right time"

"They?" Heechul repeated widening his eyes.

"They" his brother grinned.

"Oh oh" Heechul's heart jumped.

"Twins. Two cute boys"

"Two? Oh... I can handle that. I almost died when your triplets were born... two must be less noise than three right?" Heechul teased

"The triplets are so cute right now" the proud father smiled

"Speaking of the devils... where are the others? I mean, I had six nephews before the new two boys were born"

"Kangin and Siwon are at the daycare. The triplets are sleeping at home and Yesung is over there making a mess with the flowers you brought"

Heechul turned and saw the young boy playing with the petals. Well, at least his brother saw it when it was normal.

"Why isn't he in school? " Heechul asked now noticing, it was still early for being out of the school.

"He said his stomach ached and the school called me to go and pick him up. I think he was just faking it, but my wife says he could be nervous. He is not taking that well the change from daycare to preschool"

"Hahaha, I used to skip school all the time. Nothing bad happened to me so... he will be fine" Heechul joked again

"Oh my God! Look who is here! It's like a miracle!" A woman sitting on a wheelchair exclaimed

"Mommy!" Yesung ran to woman

"Give it a break, mommy is tired" the father tried while helping his wife to get on the bed

"Heechul! Long time no see! I didn't see you since the triplets were born!" The woman joked

"Well, it may look like I always come when you are giving birth but it's because you have kids too often. Please tell me those two are the last ones” Heechul sat on the bed tiredly

"Yes mom! Pleeeeeaaaaaaseeee" Yesung whined. Apparently, the young boy was tired of having siblings

"We still don't have a girl"

"AAAAAAH" Heechul stood scared.

"It's not like you are raising them. We love children! And we have the time, the money..." the woman explained

"Crazy woman! How many times are you going to have kids? And you! - Heechul pointed at his brother- Just buy a TV and stop having--- kids" Heechul stopped himself from saying when he remembered the kid was still in the room

"Don't you like being an uncle?" His brother teased

A nurse knocked the door.

"Excuse me... We finished the tests for the twins... you have two healthy boys" the nurse smiled while another two entered with the babies

"They were in my mommy's tummy! Mommy ate them before!" Yesung explained to Heechul who laughed loudly

"Awwww they are sleeping. Uncle loves when they are not screaming and crying like if the world is going to end" Heechul teased while his sister in law held the small boys

"So small... this one is really small" the proud dad held one of the babies with skill

"That one was born first" the nurse explained

"So, you are Ryeowook uhm?" The father smiled pleased as the baby opened his eyes

"Ryeowook? Isn't that a hard name to learn?" Heechul observed the cute baby. He couldn't deny he was moved. It didn't matter how many children his brother had, he always felt great when he became an uncle again.

"And this one is Kyunnie" the woman showed the taller boy to the proud uncle

"Kyunnie? Ah, Kyuhyun right? He is going to be the youngest until you have babies again... in about... I don't know... a year?"

The woman hit Heechul's stomach.

"You know; next time you should punch me down there so I won't have any kids" Heechul replied

"Silly. You would regret it! Children are the best that ever happened to us" his brother hugged his wife and his new babies

"Gross" Heechul said disgusted

"Do you think love is gross?" His brother was shocked

"Not that. Your kid wasn't faking... ewww so gross" Heechul pointed at the preschooler that just threw up at the hall

The busy father ran to the help while Heechul stayed with the babies and the mother.

"When are you going to settle down? Don't you want to start a family?" The woman asked while rocking one of the babies

"Some people are made for having kids... some others are not. I'm from the second group" Heechul said sadly

"I think you would be an amazing father"

"I can't compete with him" Heechul smiled while seeing his brother taking care of his eldest son

"Well, I guess that you can keep your title of ' the best uncle in the world' then" the woman smiled sweetly

"I think one of my new nephews pooped. Do you want me to take care of it? I think my hyung is still busy with Yesung"

"I think that even you can handle that"

----- Fourteen months later ------

Heechul was staring blankly at the papers. He could hear the loud crying from the other room.

"Sir, I know it's hard but we need an answer" the lawyer and the social worker confronted him

Heechul still had his eyes red. He spent the whole nine hours of flight crying.

"Mr. Kim"

"My brother is dead. My sister in law is dead. Even the baby is dead" he cried again

"Mr. Kim, please. I know it's hard but you still have 8 nephews that needs a legal guardian"

"I can't believe they gave me full custody" Heechul held the pen and signed the paper while crying

"They trusted you a lot. I know you will do a great job" the social worker felt pity for the young adult

"Where are the kids?" Heechul asked with low voice even if he could hear the loud crying

"I will go and look for them ok? Stay here and try to remain calm"

Heechul looked at the ceiling.

(Hyung, sister in law... what were you thinking? Me taking care of your precious children?)

"Uncle!!!" Yesung, Kangin and Siwon entered the room crying. They ran to Heechul's arms desperately.

Three scared toddlers followed. They weren't crying but they seemed confused.

"Mama? Papa?" One of them asked. Heechul's heart broke. The toddlers were still too young to understand the concept of death.

Finally, the social workers gave Heechul the two babies.

"Ryeowook, Kyuhyun " Heechul said softly. He got news from the boys often since his brother would send him videos, photos and some facts.

(I can't do this... I can't do this... but right now... I HAVE TO DO IT)

Heechul faced the crying boys with confidence.

"Everything is going to be alright, Uncle will take care of you"

And so, Heechul's hell started.
