— this story was inspired by the song universe, which is apart of exo's new winter album, universe. it really made me smile and i felt like the song really suited the story between baekhyun & chanyeol. originally, this one-shot was just a mere idea of mine that i thought i would bring alive. once i heard the song universe, it inspired me to write more than what i had initially written for this one-shot. —

— i had pre-written this and was ready to post this on new year's eve, but when that album came out, i changed and added new parts to the one-shot. i'll search the universe. until i can find you again. i won't let go, even the smallest memories. memories engraved in the seasons. they come and go several times. but i will still call out to you. those lyrics really connected with chanbaek's relationship and how even though they were apart, memories between them were still present in their heads. —
