another prompt where i forgot to jot down ugh i know better now guys please dont scold me lol. Anyway, these first 3 drabbles have been finished like days ago and it was just now that i found time to cross post them. Anyway, here is the prompt:

The human realm has always been fascinating for Kyungsoo. The humans have such a diverse way of thinking. There is always more than one side of things for them. In the fairy land, they are taught their purpose early on in their life and will simply carry them on as they grow old.

One of which is having to care for their soulmate; essentially the one that will bring completeness to their being. There is nothing more valuable for a fairy than living with fulfilling their purpose together with the other half of their soul.

So aside from doing their fairy duties, most of the fairies also make it their life's purpose to look for their soulmates and be everything that they need.

Kyungsoo is one of them, who embarked on a journey to look for his other half. He had heard and seen a lot to testimonies to how beautiful it is to find your soulmate and spend the rest of your life with them. His parents have high hopes for him too because he is a good fairy.

Who wouldn't want to be with Kyungsoo?

Ironically, they would be his very own soulmate.

Kyungsoo's sparkly and fluttering wings has brought him to the human realm for the nth time. He was just taking a break from his search when lo and behold, he has finally met his soulmate in a certain human with broad shoulders and blush-inducing smirk. The moment Kyungsoo's eyes laid on him, it was as magical as they say.

His effect on the fairy was instant, especially since his oversized knitted beige sweater covered him in an adorable way, casting a soft glow around his handsome face the moment flashes from a human device called camera appeared. Kyungsoo swears on everything he knows that the human was indeed glowing.

But as much as he wanted to approach his soulmate, he had to wait. He was just in the middle of a photoshoot (something that Kyungsoo has learned from his previous visits). He easily hid himself in one of the trees where he could admire the beautiful human discreetly.

It took him a few hours until they were packing up. Kyungsoo was very careful in hiding his fairy features before meeting his soulmate. He's human and the fairy wouldn't want to have his soulmate running for the hills if he introduces his real self on their first meeting. He’s noticed that not all humans are accepting of the thought that other creatures, apart from plants and animals, live with them.

He was able to make himself look presentable enough before coming to his tent. With careful yet excited steps, he approached where his soulmate is probably resting. What should Kyungsoo say to him? How should he introduce himself? What could..?

Unmistakable moans woke Kyungsoo from his reverie. The fairy has seen enough of the human realm to know where he could relate such sounds. He would've walked away in haste to respect their privacy if it wasn't coming from his soulmate's tent.

"It's okay," he told himself. Of course, his human soulmate already has a life without him. If that was the case, he would find a way for him to be a part of his life.

Kyungsoo worked hard on knowing everything about his soulmate Kim Jongin, whose name he only learned after using what humans refer to as the internet. It was a very helpful tool, too. The internet was able to give him a lot of information about the fastest rising model of the current generation.

The fairy was determined and dedicated, sifting through all the things he then knew about his soulmate. Articles after articles of his achievements floods his search pages but also in between, news after news of his 'wild escapades' were there.

But Kyungsoo forgot all about them when he saw a job opening in Jongin's agency. They were looking for a new member of Jongin's team because his road manager has retired to focus on his married life. The fairy thanked the heavens for the chance he was given.

He wasted no time and applied with the help of his fellow fairy, Baekhyun. He wasn't proud of the lies they had to make but everything will all be worth it when Kyungsoo could finally be with Jongin.

The heavens might have been smiling upon the smitten fairy for he was accepted and was assigned to be Jongin's personal assistant, for the time being. The agency explained that he would need to train first and Kyungsoo agreed without batting an eyelash.

"Hi, Jongin," Kyungsoo couldn't help but timidly introduce himself to the model. He is even more beautiful up close, sending the fairy's heart into a frenzy. "I'll be your new assistant..."

Jongin spared him a glance and went back on his phone. "Sure. Get that bag for me."

The model was pointing at the duffel bag by Kyungsoo's feet. Without delay, the fairy did as he was told and was expecting a thanks and maybe a smile that Jongin was so graciously sharing through his pictures.

"Get my car ready. I'm leaving."

Kyungsoo was confused. He was actually sent by Jongin's manager to fetch the model for a meeting with the higher management of the agency. "But Junmyeon asked me..."

Jongin looked at him with irritation, sending a flash of hurt in his chest. "I can't cancel a date."

A date. Kyungsoo knew what that meant and he didn't like it. Why would someone like knowing their soulmate would like other people?

"But..."

The model snorted and got on his feet. "You're new, fine. You don't know how things work around here. Just do as I say. No buts."

It's scary, how Jongin has towered over Kyungsoo. The fairy isn't even sure if it was normal to feel fear because of one's soulmate? One thing that he was certain is that he needed to please his soulmate and do everything that makes him happy. It's his purpose.

"Will you be happy if I do that?"

Jongin smirked. "Very. Now go. I don't want to be late."

It was the start. Kyungsoo did everything that Jongin asked him to, even some that wasn't directly ordered to him. It took a few days before the model was able to remember his name but the fairy has been over the moon about it, he had even called Baekhyun over.

He found joy in the thought of doing something for his soulmate, though a little part of him wishes that Jongin would give him something too. A small smile made his way after a fortnight of working for the model. It was amazing, how a simple gesture was able to recharge him.

Jongin takes time into warming up to new people, his manager told Kyungsoo one day and this has sparked a bloom of hope in the fairy. The model is a nice and caring person once he decides that he likes you. He is gives his all in every project that he does and his eyes shine prettily when he is talking about his works.

He is an amazing guy so Kyungsoo needs to be deserving to stand beside his human soulmate. He needs to be at his best at all times.

The fateful day of his acceptance came after a month, where Jongin personally sought Kyungsoo before a schedule. “We can’t leave the best assistant behind!”

The fairy felt like crying because finally! His soulmate was appreciating his efforts, his presence in his life. Soon, the human will come to realize the natural pull between soulmates and acknowledge Kyungsoo as a worthy partner.

He and Jongin grew closer and he has seen sides of the model that he didn’t know he had. Jongin likes to read, to eat and to sleep. He also laughs easily and without care, especially if he is with his friends and his staff. T
