{Young Mi}

I got ready early again this morning for no reason. I just felt like waking up.

*knock knock*

"Milady, you have a visitor." the maid said.

"Let them in." I called out.

The door opened and I was greeted with a smirking face.

Great, my parents have reached the lowest of the low.

"Hi, Young Mi!" She said excitedly.

"Hi, Jiyoung." I greeted.

"Aren't you so excited?" She squealed hopping onto my bed next to me.

"For what?"

"For your wedding! You're marrying a really rich guy! You're so lucky!" She squealed again.

"Yeah, totally lucky." I said emotionlessly.

"Yah, what's wrong with you? King Bong Man is THE richest man in the country and he wants you." Jiyoung chided.

"Oh please, he's 60. He has a son who's 19, and my parents want me to marry him." I countered.

"So what? He's rich, besides, you don't need to do anything, he already has a son. So if you just woo him and wait for him to pass away, you get all his money." Jiyoung said offhandedly.

"Seriously, Jiyoung is money ALL you think about?" I asked in disbelief.

"Well, of course, how else am I supposed to buy all those dresses and jewels?" Jiyoung said, giving me a genuinely confused look.

"You've never thought about marrying the person you love or something?" I asked.

"Not really. I just want to be able to pay anything I want." Jiyoung said happily.

"You're impossible, you know. I don't want to marry him. I want to marry someone I love and want to spend the rest of my life with." I told her.

She scoffed at me, "But he's rich." she said slowly.

"I know that," I snapped, "That doesn't mean I want to marry him." 

"Why not? I would give anything to be you right now." Jiyoung said.

"Well, then trade with me. You marry him if you want to marry him so much." 

"You know that could never happen. He wants you, besides I heard that he's already picked out the bedroom for you and decorated it with everything Aunt told him was your favorite." Jiyoung said happily, "I also heard that he has several dresses and jewels already waiting for you there."

"Seriously, he's spending money on someone who doesn't want to marry him.." I sighed.

"Yah, Young Mi. Get over yourself." Jiyoung stood up angrily. "You're getting married whether you like it or not to the richest guy in the country and you're acting like everything is ruined!" 

"Everything IS ruined. If you don't understand that, Jiyoung, then leave!" I snapped at her. "It's not like you care about love anyway!"

Jiyoung gave me one final glare, her heel and left the room.

If my parents could think Jiyoung could convince me, then they were most certainly mistaken.

"Yes they are, princess."
